Fenerbahce won the Twente match comfortably by avoiding aggression and playing a controlled game. In my opinion the most important shortcoming of Fenerbahce in this match was not being able to play the ball on the opponent's court. The ineffectiveness of Tadic and Cengiz may have affected this situation. Thanks to King's individual effort the last minutes were much more comfortable. Individually, Becao put in a top notch performance, but he couldn't show the same skill in team play.

Overall there was a good cohesion in the team. I think the biggest shortcoming of Fenerbahce is the defensive midfield. If Fenerbahce makes the necessary reinforcements to the team it will be the most assertive team in the Conference League this year.

I think it is going to be easy to see who is going to win and it's about time we would learn about the groups and get the bigger games. It was a good night for Turkey teams, there were good gains for the country score. Both Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe earned comfortable points. Although Adanademirspor won the match 1-0, the match went to overtime because they lost 2-1 in the first match, they actually lost the match on penalties. Aboubakar was on fire in elimination matches. He didn't score in Turkish league games but in European games he's a beast. He will be the best weapon of Beşiktaş tonight. Muleka, Rebic and Cenk whoever play in the wing have to give his best and feed Abou to score goals. Beşiktaş need to score in this game no matter what. They shouldn't play for 0-0. Club Brugge may have the ball and attack, Beşiktaş need to use counter attacks effective. I expect especially Muleka to play in this role.

Conference League first game in Group stage was between Lille and Olimpija in France and it ended up by Lille victory with 2 goals. Olimpija failed to score goals and their opportunities were low. Lille controlled more the game and they were favourite in this home match anyway.
The remaining games will be played in less than 24 hours with Brugge - Beşiktaş as the most balanced one in my opinion since in the other games I see a clear favourite.
