I'm very conservative about it. I trust Ethereum and BNB a little bit, except Bitcoin, but I don't trust the other coins and tokens so much. I can make long-term investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum, I can make a medium-term investment in BNB, and I can only make short-term investments in other coins. That's my view of the market.  I used to have a more flexible view on these things, but over time I've become more rigid and I think my current view is largely correct.

Well, you are right as we don't need to invest a number of altcoins in order to make a profit but only those coins that we think are really performing so well and of course, those coins that we trusted most. And the same with many people who are in here, Ethereum and BNB are the most top altcoins that usually we see are the best coins among the thousands of altcoins that existed in the market. And we believe that these two coins won't disappoint us during the bull season as we can assure that earning a profit is not impossible especially when the bull season comes.

If you have DOGE in your trust list which is basically a meme coin that doesn't really have any organic growth and is totally dependent on community hype and it doesn't even have the potential to gain significant value if Elon Musk doesn't hype it up, I don't know if you really understand the meaning of trust here. Can you actually trust DOGE to invest in it and keep it for years in your account without having to worry about your investment in it getting devalued?

Your trusted altcoins should be the ones that you trust to have your investments in even if you have to keep them for the long-term, just like I trust Ethereum and I know that even if I'm buying it for a shorter term, if its price drops, I can easily keep it for the long-term without any worries.

Anyway if you want for long time investment then Don't be sad because you good choice like btc, eth, bnb. Some of the altcoins mentioned by other members also have their own advantages, but all of these altcoins will be affected by the Bitcoin price. If the bitcoin price crashes, the altcoin will crash more and vice versa. Therefore, Altcoins are not for too long a long term , when it is profitable to withdraw the profits and for Bitcoin it is designed for the long term and will benefit when the ATh price is reached,

It's hard for me to choose five altcoins to invest because I don't trust any of them much. I hold maybe more than 20 different altcoins but these cover only a very small part of my portfolio.
About your list, I wouldn't trust Cake and Apecoin much. Ethereum and BNB are solid projects and Arbitrum have a potential but I wouldn't think others as long term investment. You can play with them in short term though.

Layer-2 networks these days are starting to build a reputation on the market especially since it is helping Ethereum to scale. So for me, I major in Ethereum and minor in Arbitrum.

Among the thousands of altcoins in the market, I think Ethereum and binance are my favorite coins because they are still maintaining their position to be second and third position among other cryptocurrencies in the market, which is giving their investors more strength and confidence to hold and enjoy the benefits that attached to it in the future. Those that invested in Ethereum some years ago when the price was very low in the market , used the opportunity to sold when the price increased to $1,785 early this year to make a huge amount of money, and wait for another bearish market to come so that they can buy and still be part of those that will earn well when the price increase to $2,000 before the end of this year 2023.

For me it has to be bitcoin if we consider that as crypto and not just alt, but if not then purely alts it would be ethereum, bnb, avax, matic and ada because those are the ones that I believe working on bigger things than the rest.

I am not saying they will all do well, I am sure that at least one of them will do badly and do not get the result it should but I believe that at least three of these will do wonders when the bull run comes. Of course I would like to emphasize the bitcoin one there, it may not be altcoin, but it is certainly something you should have as majority in your portfolio. If you have more of one alt than you have bitcoin, then you are making a mistake, that's the one that should always be the highest.

From OP's list, I will choose ETH, BNB and Cake because of the undeniable utilities they've. Yes, I know anything can happen in this space especially with the exchange tokens of BNB and Cake. If anything goes wrong with their platforms, their will effortlessly also go down. Well, isn't it the same thing with everything concerning business – all about risk?

I'm adding Cartesi (I've mentioned this token often). I like the concept behind it and its roadmap. It was one of those tokens I got here as a bounty hunter in 2018 or so and I can say it's not performing badly. BSCpad and SFund aren't bad choices too. I've other altcoins I invested in but these ones listed stand out for me. I would be extremely shocked if they went down or became worthless.

First I will answer by your title to say I do not in any way trust any altcoin because they are ass hole, it has the probability to fail at anytime therefore I wouldn't mind trusting any altcoin. But alternatively I can use his few if there were no option of bitcoin and that is ETH, BNB, LTC and TRX although from your list I may add Cake as well. What you should know is that altcoin aren't reliable there are several stories with altcoin which is too heart touching for one to fully rely on them.

I would rather use the word believe than trust to list number of projects that looks promising or which future are still promising.
1.ETH will be topping my list because a lot of projects are built on Ethereum layer, and it's used to pay gas fees; therefore the demand will always be there so far ETH continues to exist.

2.BNB made my second list because of its use case in paying gas fees too, as well an exchange coin, so it also has a promising future, so fat things goes well.

There are thousands of alertcoins in the crypto world, including many scam projects.  We have seen many major scandals happen in projects that went well. However, if we invest in a trusted alert coin, the chances of future losses may be less, but we still need to invest cautiously. One should never invest in those projects that have the highest chance of losing money so we need to get well educated about crypto before investing. But I think all alert coins should be invested in future profitable ones, including some trusted coins to invest in like BNB, ETH, XRP, ADA, LTC, etc.

But if you ask for 5 crypto which I personally think is the best. Here is the list

• Doges

In my personal opinion, these 5 altcoins have the most potential for the future. Apart from that, I am currently also investing in these five crypto assets. So hopefully these five crypto assets can really realize my expectations.
And as for shitcoin, so far I have never dared to get involved in a coin like that. Because as we know, buying shitcoin has a very big risk. May I ask why you are choosing TRX? I understand that there is a huge usage of USDT on trx but besides that what makes you so bullish?
