This is a very helpful compilation of key information for not just newbies but people of my kind. I have been looking and wondering on how to go about making a thread that contains image but didn't see any option requiring me to directly upload an image from my device and so I just randomly assumed that I needed to rank up to full member before I would be able to create threads containing an image. But with this link https://www.talkimg.com/ it just brightened my day and I guess I just added another knowledge to my library of information in the forum.

I just want to also add that you should have given a detailed explanation on steps involved in uploading the image because when I clicked on the link and uploaded a random image just to know how it all works, I was afraid when I saw "uploaded" and didn't know the particular place the image was uploaded to. I guess you should have added that we need to copy the link and add it to our post and then preview it before posting it. But thanks for the information, it really helped.

To me the way you are going about is actually okay, because after knowing everything about forum including the rules of the forum, then next thing is to know why the forum is created and the purpose of it. This here is the the best post I've seen today. I wish all the newbies like myself can see this post. If possible this post should be pinned on all the forums for all the newbies to see it. Because I know very much that most the newbies that got in on this platform are only here for the money, to get recognitions, make impressive posts and get merited, some even copy ideas from others and some post news they do not even understand the contents just to get merited, with the purpose of building up their accounts, join a signature campaign that'll pay you and then relax, forgetting that the core purpose of this platform is to dispatch knowledge to its members.

Knowledge indeed is power and we seem to forget that knowledge is the primary and the principal thing, when you're here for the money, trust me it's really gonna be difficult to cope here, but when you make acquisition of knowledge your primary objective for coming here then every other thing will come easy peasy. I remember the wisest man the bible ever recorded (Solomon) was a seeker of wisdom and knowledge and when he got it, wisdom wasn't the only commodity under his sleeves, if you know the story, you'll know that he was also the richest king that ever lived. So knowledge comes with a reward and that reward is the money, the recognition and the merits, cos no one would wish to merit a non quality poster.

So the sooner we start changing our mindset and purpose for being here, the better for us.

The reward for labour is wages in relation to the forum, the reward for our posts is merit which will in-turn fetch us some cash in form of signature campaigns.
Now I have been in the forum for sometime now. My activity has grown to the level where I should be in the member rank but merit has limited me. I have been coming across some threads where one can appeal for merit but I discovered that the thread is always closed from replies not until a particular date i was lucky though to apply from one of the thread but no result till now. I'm using this medium to appeal for thread where I can make further appeals to rank up. I have been tolling like Peter in the bible without fish I need some reward to compensate my little effort.

3. Staking of bitcoin address

As you have already registered on this forum, it is good to stake you bitcoin address. You can do that here: Stake your Bitcoin address here

Staking of your bitcoin address is used to claim the owner of a bitcoin address. It is good to stake it on this forum because if your Bitcointalk account is compromised or hacked, it can be used to recover back your Bitcointalk account.

You can not use an exchange address or a centralized platform address for staking because private key is used to generate the digital signature. You need a noncustodial wallet for it.

Recommended wallets for staking

• Electrum (you can not sign a message with bitcoin address on mobile Electrum.

• Sparrow
• Samourai

What you will stake are:

The main reason I included this is because many forum members said it can be used as a better search engine. All you have to do is to go to the website, click on the menu at the upper left corner, click on posts and search for the topic or post that you want to search for.

Ninjastic.space has many other functions. It is good for looking for deleted posts, checking of users bitcoin wallet or altcoin wallet addresses posted on this forum, even if it has been deleted. It can also be used to look for user's posts on the boards the user is very active, this can be done through the user ID. It has other functions and worth visiting.


6. Signature and Avatar

To add signature, click on your profile -> forum profile information at the left side -> you will see a big space to paste the signature code that you copied. To add avatar, at the upper part of the big space to input your signature code, click on 'go here' to upload your avatar.

To add avatar, you must be a full member. Any rank below full member can not wear an avatar. The higher your rank, the bigger your signature space.

8. Notifications, of new topics, replies, mentions and merits

Replies in this regard means any other posts aside topics. For the forum's notification, the notifications are sent to the email you used to register on this forum.


Notification of new topic
This forum has notification for topics and replies. If you want to be notified of new topic on a particular board, go to the board, you will see 'notify' beside 'new topic'. I am referring to new topic which you can click on to create and post a topic. Click on notify. With this, you will be notified of new topic that is posted on that board. The notification will be sent to your email.

Note: If you do not visit a new topic that you have been notified on a particular board through the email, you will no longer get notifications on the board until you visit the board.


Notification of new reply
On the thread you want to be notified of new replies, you will see 'notify' beside 'reply' (the reply you can click on to make new post), click on it (I mean click on 'notify' that is beside 'reply'. But ones you have been notified of the next post and you do not visit the thread, you will no longer get notification of other replies on the thread until you visit the thread again, but I think that is good because it will not create disturbance.

If you want to be notified of merits and mentions, this will be very helpful. You can also use it to track a thread, but the notifications may be disturbing if you track a thread with it because as people are posting on the thread, you will be getting the notification of each single post.

I admire the effort you have put in to ensure that our newbies are treated to the best and core information that not only educates them but would make them achieve their aim of joining this community as well.
This post should be pinned for all including the oldies because I don't think I had an exposure of sort in good details as this post is.

The issues many have been having so far has been not being able to do exactly or present exactly the way we envision a post, all because we lack the necessary tool set at our disposal.
 Although many changes have been made such as Imgur being abandoned for talkING, lesser merit distribution, removal of m!xrs and their respective campaigns, nothing much has changed and this will definitely help to improve post quality and better organization in this board.

There is no difference between copper member and Jr member or Member rank, just that copper member are being introduced for those who wanna post images and graphics on the forum if they don't have the required merits and activity but with the help of copper member you can upload image on the forum.

Note: Buying a copper member doesn't guaranteed that your account can not be ban, if you violate any rules against the forum automatically you will be ban or penalized for that, so same rules that binds all account and all users binds a copper member as well, so if you are buying a copper member you should also try to adhere to rules and regulations.

Everyone survived when it'd their time. We start our crypto journey and at the end of the day, we will relaxed when the results are out. This is the forum where we listen to essential problems and also know the projects to invest and the ones to refrain from such actions. We passed the important phases before finally granting usable passes. information is power and we should never underestimate our chances of reaching the top this season. I've come this far to win games and make quite good findings for myself.

Maybe i should suggest that this thread be pinned here on the local board, so that it can serve as a first approach learning material for the newbies who are just joining the forum and local board, this may help prevent them from making a low quality post or trolling the forum by posting what is not welcome to carry useful information's, at first approach, some of these newbies need to learn from resourceful materials.
