Is there any wallet for newbies? If there's none, I think we should have a wallet for newbies. As a newbie who wants to learn and more about crypto, I've learnt that owning a wallet is very essential in managing one's crypto assets hence the necessity for anyone who wants to get involved in Bitcoin must have crypto wallet.

So I'm asking if there can be wallets for newbies that'll contain tutorial measures on how to use it and it'll also be user friendly to newbies thereby helping them to learn all the basics of Bitcoin wallet so as they grow and improve their knowledge about wallets and Bitcoin in general, they can advance to pro versions of Bitcoin wallets. With this, to send, receive coins  and do other things like message signing will  be less complicated to newbies and will also make the use of Bitcoin wallet an easy task for all newbies
Base on your question, I observed that you are a real newbie in the forum, even though you were introduced by someone to the forum, your newbie knowledge is manifesting. Well there is no specific wallet for newbies, all wallets are for newbies, you can use anyone but the wallet which is good for newbies is Electrum wallet. It is very easy to use and navigate, it has simple features to understand. You can read this to know more about Electrum wallet

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

SO, all wallet are equal security and UI levels and to understand about wallets you have to learn the basic of them from different sources.
This is wrong, wallets don't have equal security, neither do they have the same UI, there are wallets that are more secure than others, like hardware wallets and good software wallets like Electrum, but there are also wallets that are not secure and very vulnerable to hacks, like web wallets, exchanges wallets, etc.
Because every wallet has sending and receiving options but some wallet are decentralized and provide some good level of securities like 2FA and Multisig etc.
'Decentralized' is an inappropriate term to use for wallets imo, it should rather be either custodial or non-custodial, mind you also that a wallet might offer features such as Multisignature and 2fa, and yet be unsafe, thus there are more things to access about a wallet than just that.
I did not meant by same level of security and UI as to be exactly same instead the basic levelof security and UI of all the wallets are almost same and i even backed by statement with an example of Sending and receiving UI of each wallet is almost same. But still if you think my statement need exact or correct meaningful words to explain things out correctly then i am more than happy to change them. But my intention were same as you are saying here.

Second, i said some wallets are decentralized which means some are centralized which have the meaning that some wallets like Electrum and there is a centralized wallet like Binance wallet or Trust wallet but yeah i can also use the words of custodial and non custodial i think in flow i said decentralized and centralized by hey they reflect almost the same meanings here.

Second, i said some wallets are decentralized which means some are centralized which have the meaning that some wallets like Electrum and there is a centralized wallet like Binance wallet or Trust wallet
We usually use the terms "custodial" and "non-custodial" for comparing wallets and I don't think the terms "centralized" and "decentralized" are suitable for that.
A wallet is non-custodial, if it gives you access to private keys and it's custodial, if it doesn't give you access to private keys. If you mean the same thing by the terms "centralized" and "decentralized", take note that trustwallet gives you access to your keys and that's non-custodial.
Also, binance isn't a wallet. That's an exchange.

Honestly,  we all have found ourselves in this situation of being intimidated or trying to find an easy route to make all these crypto coins around us work for us with the best wallet, but tbh it's all about getting out of our comfort zone to learn this technology.

And just so you know, the cryptospace has never had a newbie wallet but for ease of use, mobile wallets are built with great user friendly interfaces which should be a great start and it's all about getting that familiarity to get any fear out and you will be a pro in no time, good luck Cool. Btw the way, if you can operate a smartphone or any computer without any difficulties,  trust me a crypto wallet won't be any difficulty just don't send coins to the wrong person  Grin

The most important thing about a Bitcoin wallet is how secure it is, and that's what a crypto newbie should be more concerned about than the tutorial feature of it. To set up a Bitcoin wallet, one doesn't need to even spend the whole day doing it, because as you are setting up your wallet, there is already some guidance that asks you to create a new wallet or import an old wallet, but that's if you already have an existing wallet, and after you have created your wallet, you will still be asked to copy out your seed phrase and keep it in a safe place, plus some warning like, "Never share your wallet seed phrase with anyone." Like others have mentioned, if you're looking for a secure Windows wallet, then I'll recommend Electrum, while for mobile, you can go with Bluewallet. If you have any difficulty setting up your wallet or how to use it, then if you ask a question on the forum, you will still get a lot of help.

Try faucets, also you can try creating crypto demo wallet accounts,

I'm sorry, but it seems to me that everything is much simpler. Here on the forum, is full of guides, for example from Ratimov, which are literally explained on the fingers. And in order not to understand them, you need to make great efforts. Using faucets, in our time, it seems to me, is a waste of time. Instead, it's enough to carefully read the Electrum manual, learn how to store your seed phrases, and start being independent.
OP, "the bicycle has long been invented", it is not worth reinventing it again. Start with theory and move smoothly to practice.

For the first stage of learning wallets, I suggest beginners try using the BlueWallet wallet on a smartphone.
Choose a wallet that is open source and BlueWallet is a very easy open source wallet to use on android or iOS.

If later the way to use it is smooth, it will also make it easier when using other best wallets such as Electrum.
Make sure to store the seed phrase properly in a place that no one can reach.

To use it, you can visit this thread. I think it will help. [Tutorial] BlueWallet - Bitcoin Wallet Discussion

Try faucets, also you can try creating crypto demo wallet accounts, there are specific tutorials, guides and mentoring you could learn from them and there are website also were you can begin as a newbie, when you're dealing with demo account you will not have to use real bitcoin or possibly the reward that may be given can be very little in sats since the intention was for learning purpose only.

With this, to send, receive coins  and do other things like message signing will  be less complicated to newbies and will also make the use of Bitcoin wallet an easy task for all newbies

There's a wallet best for newbies in this regard which can serve for learning purpose and easy to understand, they can make use of Exodus wallet but am not sure if all the features you mentioned were comprised in it usage.

I will check about the Exodus wallet and how it works. Hopefully, I'll learn a lot from it as well

You can create an account and posting in this forum, it's mean you have device, electricity and internet connection, so definitely you can have a Bitcoin wallet. It's fine to use hot wallet (where you use a device that connected with internet) to hold your coins, as long as the amount is small and you can afford to lose because hot wallet is hackable.

I will check about the Exodus wallet and how it works. Hopefully, I'll learn a lot from it as well
Don't use this wallet, this is one of wallet that should be avoided due to closed source.

There is no separate wallet for newbies, a new member can use the same wallet that an experienced and professional member uses. It is everyone's personal decision to use a wallet. Different members use different wallets considering different aspects. If you are a new forum member opening an account on a wallet you will never be asked your rank on the forum or you can still use any wallet if you are not a member of the forum. Considering the security aspect, people always prefer the more complete wallets. Wallets like Electrum Wallet, Mycelium Wallet, MyEthereum Wallet, Hardware Wallet etc. are generally considered by people as more secure complete wallets. You can use any of these wallets as a new member.

If you are a new forum member opening an account on a wallet you will never be asked your rank on the forum
Mind you that you don't "open an account on a wallet", if there's anything like that then it is a custodial wallet, and custodial wallets are not safe wallets to use because you are not going to control the private keys/seed phrase.
Wallets like Electrum Wallet, Mycelium Wallet, MyEthereum Wallet, Hardware Wallet etc. are generally considered by people as more secure complete wallets. You can use any of these wallets as a new member.
MyEtherWallet is an Ethereum wallet, OP is looking for a Bitcoin wallet, whilst Mycelium is not a good wallet to recommend when there are better alternatives like Sparrow wallet or bluewallet.

When you talk about Newbie wallet, I guess what you meant is an easy to use, and user-friendly wallet, right? Because "Trust wallet" is the best option for that, due to it's simple, easy to use interface and it's option to add a new token or coin while selecting the right blockcain while running an airdrop & bounty hunt, making it the most popular among newbies.  But if you are looking for Bitcoin only wallet, then "Electrum" should be the best option for you, as it's got one of the best security and an option for mobile users (i.e android).

While reading the original post (OP), I find myself drawing parallels to guides for preschoolers. You know, those kids who are learning their ABCs. Or taking it to a more advanced level, it's akin to programming books for babies.

I do believe that what you are suggesting is feasible, but it requires someone to take the initiative to start such a project. They should consider first whether it's worth the investment of time, money, and effort.

Above all, even if you're still a newbie, you can learn to use the wallets we have simply by reading the guides and articles that are currently available.

In contributing to that I also think there should be tutorials held here on bitcointalk forum to educate newbies on the basics of crypto and also how to exchange them . Speaking from experience since I'm also a newbie ,I still find it difficult to understand how to change my coins to money .
Mate, there is nothing hard to understand about Bitcoin wallets because all the Bitcoin wallets out there are user-friendly.

As so many of my forum colleagues have provided links to recommended wallets that can be used by us all, you can go through the comments and get yourself a suitable wallet to be using, and trust me, they are easy to understand for all, which is why there is no specification for either a newbie or an expert in Bitcoin.

Totally agreed i was at fault as i said that in flow as i thought it might be somewhere easy for the OP to understand it but i think i should edit it to Custodial or non-custodial manner instead centralized or decentralized. I do know what custodial and non-custodial means but there are also terms for centralized and decentralized wallet and many people use them but still if members have issue and they think the usage of custodial and non custodial is better then i am all ok with it.

Newbies can also have their own wallet. It's not about ranks that you can have a wallet which means that everyone can have their own wallet and it's your responsibility to keep it safe so that no one other than you can have access to it. One more thing is that you should be careful to fraudulent activities like a fake wallet provider where you think you are going to import a wallet but they will only be able to know your wallet credentials. You can create a wallet using Electrum and it is for free. Before creating a wallet, reading the thread provided by zaguru would help you understand the types of wallets you can use.

I mean that wouldn't be necessary I mean there was no special treatment for newbies having their own wallet, and there was no perfect cryptocurrency wallet, but if all you want if information about the cryptocurrency wallet your lucky because you are in this forum, everything you need is already here to on starting your cryptocurrency journey so if you want a Bitcoin wallet I would suggest Electrum Wallet but there are still a lot of walletss out there that you could try just make sure to do the research about it, In my opinion, it is the most suitable and safest wallet for newbies, it is also easy to install I didn't really experience any issues on years of using it, you could just follow this instruction to Safely download and verify your electrum [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide].

I suggest continuing to learn more here in the forum, When i was just getting started choosing a wallet was actually difficult i mean it was just so complicated and everything was just new to me but if you're really interested in cryptocurrency and Bitcoin your gonna need to learn it and do it on your own.

I do not think that it would be feasible to create a wallet for beginners, given that they are beginners, and mistakes cannot be avoided unless you mean creating a smart wallet that can detect user errors, which does not seem logical if the user himself does not have sufficient knowledge of the basics of the blockchain.
On the other hand, there is a much better solution, which is to use the Bitcoin test network. It is a parallel network that operates with the same settings as the Bitcoin blockchain and was created for practice and learning purposes before passing to the main network. On this network there is a testnet bitcoin that has no market value and can be obtained for free from one of the available faucets or by requesting it from anyone who owns it.

I was wondering what could have warrant this and from your statement, it points to the fact that, you want a user friendly and tutorial incorporated wallet.
Well, that’s what you’ve got on the forum, you can’t expect wallets to come with some ads and tutorials in between although, I see that on mycelium but the thing is, you feel more in control having an uninterrupted or undisturbed wallet through ads and those floating icons than you would in a wallet that lays out everything right before you.

What you need for tutorial is what you’ve got in this forum and that aside, wallets are often user friendly with most circulating about,
Send, History and Receive. The later to it might come in the form of, setting up fees (sat/byte), bumping fees, choosing a network and so on.

It’s more easy to operate a wallet and one could easily gain in on that.

Wallet is wallet It will not be anything else for beginners. So it is foolish for beginners to think of a separate wallet. But I have noticed that most people who are new to cryptocurrency use Trust wallet. this is enough for beginners as they don't hold large amounts of crypto. but gradually everyone should move towards a good non-custodial wallet and start using hardware wallet if possible.
