Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...?

A friend of mine asking me a business idea, and he told me it is a big profit business idea, I'm missing out for not entertaining his advice! He told me everything would be smooth sailing, and very big profit too.

Let's be enterpreneur and make this a mind your own business (MYOB)

I also only want a business that is profitable as soon as I form it legally, register the entity, file for licensing, any paper work, legal business by laws (no selling weeds or explosive).

So the business should be: today I officially launch it, the next day, profit start rolling in, and it would last eternally, the income stream keep coming for the next 999 years, and it would be suffice to self sustain, self reliance include financing every operational cost by itself, and only happy ending. Not a single bad ending.

btw, no selling snake oil. Must have actual product, or service that is consider perishable. Also no to the Elon Musk's infamous tweets "You can sell stock you don't own, short selling is legal only for vestigial reason" bullshit or etc.

What kind of La La Land are you living in where any business that's started today is guaranteed to make money the next day, it might be true to some level but I don't think that it's a real thing, most businesses that are still starting are working on losses because they've invested money to the business so any money that they get from their customers aren't considered a profit yet but a break even for awhile. The only business that is likely to have that are those Ponzi scheme businesses that prey on unknowing people and will only benefit the head of that scheme.

No business guarantees an instant profit. Most businesses that make such promises are scams and fraudulent schemes. Starting and growing a business requires financial, human, and time resources. Stock or crypto traders might make fast money, but it takes a lot of time to learn and gain knowledge about the market for you to succeed. You have to also note that every business must face several challenges that it must overcome to succeed. Don't just look at the glory of profits of some businesses you see, many of them went through many hard times. Read the stories of most of these successful business executives and learn from them. Anybody that informs you that the business will be smooth and easy is not telling the truth. If you are always driven by quick profit, you will constantly be a cheap victim of scams and Ponzi schemes.

There might certainly be a fantasy land where it does existed. A business is itself an idea too, but look at what we have $200 trillions worth of money in the derivative market. Also bitcoin has a trillion wroth of value in just ten years (without a product or service), not to mention ethereum in just less than 5 years...

Trade contains risks, and if the trade is profitable and guaranteed, why does not everyone trade? Any investment involves risks. In general, the risk is commensurate with the profits, and the least is what you get from banks. Even these bank deposits may involve risks, although they are very low.

In mind your own business (MYOB), I care about customer satisfaction, continuous return even if it is low, the possibility of converting the commercial activity to another activity without large costs, you have a job or it is easy to get a job if this project fails.

Beware, guaranteed profit is often associated with a Ponzi scheme which is a scam.

I don't think there are any business that can have ROI in one day, however offering service usually has faster ROI compared to selling product since it has less upfront cost, but that's assuming you already has required tools and skill you need to offer the service. Assuming you already has PC/Mobile phone then you can use this gadget to get some money, learn some tech related skill.

I don't know what you are thinking, but you are kind of living in a game where you'll start having an income stream and having some sort of unlimited time on the business. There are no businesses that you'll start earning profit from by tomorrow, because imagine you'll put thousands or millions into that business, and it doesn't mean that you'll then earn thousands or millions the next day; you'll need to get back your capital first before you'll be getting profit.

What type of challenge a central banker must overcome? I think all they would do is making more headlines, or making more inflation. They would have problems when people are quiting, and stop to work for their business empire. In my opinion, many business make a lot of money without putting in a lot of efforts at all. It is highly contradict to the popular belief btw, hardwork do not equal more profit.

I have no idea of any business you can start up today and profits tomorrow, unless you are working online or you are the only person in that environment you do your business, in business it takes time to succeed because you must be known first people can't start coming to your shop just the second day of resumption only people who don't live in that area will need your product and people closer to your business area will watch  how you attend to your costumersbefore they start coming, in business these days character is what matters most you must be free with costumers so they can come to your shop next time for your services also promos will help people know you and that which you are marketing but all these can't be done in just one or two days it will take up to one week of lunch.

OP, you are dreaming and you need to wake up from your sleep. How is it possible that you set up a business today and begin to make profits from the business immediately. You also said that the business should just keep on progressing till infinity. Just the way that life is up and down like bitcoin price that is how businesses too are. It is you that needs to figure out the threats in your business and convert it into your strength. There is no such business in life only in the spirit world. Selling drug is illegal which shows that there is no legal business because even a casino business needs reputation which can't just be built in a month to make daily profit.

So, are you asking business ideas where you could immediately start making profits after launch or telling us on how you missed out on the superb opportunity presented to you by your friend. Perhaps both?
I doubt anyone here would have any ideas on a legitimate business idea where you could start today and begin raking in the profits the next day.

Perhaps a business in which your services are rendered could bring in profits for you. But even that won’t guarantee profits the next day. Success doesn’t always happen overnight.

You want instant profit? Sell lemonades and that's for sure gonna give you profit by the time you've started. Of course in all business, it takes time for the actual huge profit to come in.

You compute the cost of operation and the gross profit and then less all of those expenses and that's how you'll get the profit/revenue you've made.

The sad thing in making a business is that you don't get results quickly by the time you start it out. It's also a game of patience so if you're rushing to make profit, try to sell some food or make your own car as a delivery courier, etc.

If I knew it I will run that business now, not to tell it for you since there's no guarantee you will give me something or maintain good relationship with me. There are so many people forget and don't care with their friend as long as they can earn money, one of common example is ask a loan and don't want to pay it back.

A legal business will take time to become popular and make profit except the illegal one.

Are you in search of a get-rich-quick kind of business, or are you making inquiries to see if such a business exists, as your friends have told you?

I have not really gone into a lot of businesses and know how fast their profit can come, but if I'm to judge or give my own opinion based on what I know, I will say that in the first period of starting up a business, what one will be recording is expenses, as you will need to rent a space (shop or warehouse), arrange the space to your test, get some goods, go through some legal procedures, and get all the documents and licensing done. All this will not just take you a week or so; some times it takes up to a whole month. Then you set the place up and start running some advertisements in order to create awareness and attract some customers, which don't happen immediately.

And if you also decide to go through some kind of online market, getting goods and making your service available and known to all will also cost you time and money, which I presume won't be a problem considering that you are ready for the business.

So unless you want to take some kind of risk by investing in some blind business that might promise you a huge profit, there are just a few businesses out there that can give you an instant profit. Oh, I forgot, if you have a huge amount of money, you can go into the oil business. That will require some experience, connections, and money. Aside from that, there should always be buyers for such a product, and it's profitable to some point.

Well, bitcoin didn't become a trillion dollar market overnight as you've liked to point out in your OP, it took bitcoin decades and in a metaphorical scale, I don't think that it's considered a quick profit for bitcoin.

Even business with low capital will not gurantee someone any money the moment that they start their business, you're right that we shouldn't start with businesses that has high capital because not everyone has the money to be able to do that.

Utopia. OP, what are you smoking? No business will make a profit instantly. Rather, everything said can be rewritten with the prefix "not." There will be no money, no success, and no fame. Everything good that brings profit was invented a long time ago. Now there are copies that are more or less similar to someone else's original, and the profit lies in the quantity of production due to its cheapness, but not in quality.

Got no sense in this. Do you know how business operates? It literally take years to get settled for proper bench mark and it takes more time to reach your break even point. Moreover, everything depends on what type of business you talking about. Whether is it pharma associates, whether its crypto exchanger or a gambling site, perhaps shoe making company? There are literally hundreds of questions you need to ask yourself before one can reach out to the conclusion.

Now every type of business has its own Bench Mark. It has to set it to call it a success and long term profitable business. If you are entering then start with the notebook and a pen. You need to write down entire roadmap, the timeline, what will happen when, resource management and much more.

For sure, your friend has come up with some sort of MLM scheme and nothing else. It is the only business that claim to give you profit the next day and million dollar house the day after tomorrow. The only risk is you never reach that "next day". Lolz
