Here in our country, I haven't heard of any universities that accept Bitcoin as payment for tuition fees. But in other countries, I know there are people who do that. There are still as many countries as we can say that the government is not really open to Bitcoin; unlike what El Slavador did, they actually declared Bitcoin as one of the legal tender currencies.

I'm not so sure about other countries, so let me just share or speak for what I know about my country. I think it is impossible as of now. Heck, a lot of universities and colleges rarely accepts e-payment to begin with, so expecting them to accept btc as a means of payment for tuition fee is far-fetched. Moreover, the discussion for legality will take forever as the government will have to approve of this first since most universities in the country are state university or public colleges govern by the national government.

So let me just say that you are wrong in your assumptions , if businesses are accepting Bitcoin for payment for their goods or services not minding in instability in the price of Bitcoin colleges/universities are businesses too and they can accept Bitcoin payment for tuitions if they want , it all boils down to their interest, some of this schools accepting Bitcoin can keep the Bitcoin as a long term investment for the school, while those who need the money for urgent use can convert to fiat , withdraw and use for that ever purpose they need the money for , it's that simple .

I mean if the university will accept it then I guess there's nothing wrong. Aside from that, if the teachers will accept being paid thru Bitcoin then it's good, but I doubt that all of them will agree into it.

Universities don't want to make risks because we know that Bitcoin's volatile, and because of it, they might incur losses instead of just being paid thru fiat. Right now, I doubt that there will be many universities that will accept crypto, and there's no universities/colleges here in our country that are accepting Bitcoin as payment for the student's tuition fees.

I believe there are some college schools that are already doing this where they also accept bitcoins for their student's enrollment. giving them the opportunity to use their bitcoins and the schools are willing to take the risk in order to have some investment in bitcoins as well. I don't know if that went well for the school because I never heard any news of such kind nowadays. It is possible even in the present, there are a lot of universities and colleges that accept payments in cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin, it just depends on where that university or institute is located and the take of the government about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. If the country is crypto-friendly and isn't strictly against the use of cryptocurrencies, then there won't be any problems for those institutions accepting cryptocurrencies as there won't be legal issues.

And, a merchant or an institution accepting Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as payment doesn't really need them to have a stable price since they can always have a setup where they will have these cryptocurrencies sold directly at the market rate when they are received unless they are willing to hold them.

It's really possible for Bitcoin to be used as payment for tuition. We are aiming that Bitcoin will be used as payment in any establishments in the world legally.
