Hello and hope everyone here is having a wonderful time here. I’ve been going through the contents of this forum for quite sometime now and I’ve really found the contents of the forum quite educative and helpful too.

I finally created an account yesterday to enable have the access to be part of the forum. I created this account yesterday and today I’ve been able to make some posts/comments in some of the contents here.

Although I used to initially have an account some time ago but I kinda lost the password to the account and lost access to the account, although when I created the account I was unable to make posts due to a proxy ban on the account, but with the help of a VPN browser I’ve been able to create another account that now allows me to make posts and now I can make posts and comments.

While I was busy exploring this forum to gain more knowledge and enlightenment, I kinda bumped into a few threads where beginners and newbies kinda make some sort of introduction and making their presence known to the platform.

Although I’m new here but not really entirely a newbie because I have few and past knowledge about cryptocurrency so I wouldn’t be entirely be classified as a newbie.

I felt it would be appropriate to ask if it’s right or okay for me to come in and start making posts here without really formally introducing myself or is there something I should maybe do to attain the privilege of making posts here.

I’m really new here and not really fully aware of the modus operandi of the forum, and I also wish to tender an apology if I have already defaulted ignorantly by making posts without formally introducing myself here.

I'm not sure why your username read Bhunter1997, does that refer to Bounty hunter? Is the 1997 has to do with your date of birth? 

If you once had a Bounty account or violated any rule with your first account and later find out, know that you will be caught with this one as well and if it's just a random name then only time will prove it.

It isn't necessary that you introduce yourself in the forum before you start making posts, there is no rule that compels you to do that, you can create an account and immediately start posting.

If you have interesting and knowledgeable topics which you think will help others and start a conversation then please go ahead and share them. Do not just go ahead and copy/paste anything as the forum has strict rules for plagiarism. If you are using someone else content which you feel is relevant to your topic, then do give them due credit. first welcome to the forum and I believe there isn't any rules broken yet, as per the introduction it isn't important since no one needs your real identity over here. Bitcoin is a decentralized finance so it is to the forum as well no one cares about real name, neither do they need your introduction it is just a thing of will, like if you feels like introducing yourself with just your forum nickname the is fine. Apart from that i don't think there is something else to than just keep follow rules and regulations.
 
At the top of this Beginners & Help you would find something like that says "Newbies - Read before posting" will really help you to understand things across the forum, maybe it could reduces your tension toward here.

Privacy is highly valued here, so the less you say about yourself and your life, the better. You can communicate on the forum without resorting to examples from your life in order to better hide your personal life. Just communicate on topics that interest you and add what may be missing here.
Asking about publishing privileges here is also quite naive. You see that your post has been posted, and people have replied to you, as in other posts that you have already written.

You’re mistaken Fam. My chosen username has nothing to do with bounty hunting. My name starts with the Letter B, hence the B in my username. And the 1997 there also has nothing to do with my age. My previous account couldn’t make posts so I don’t see how it was possible that I could have been using it for bounty hunting.

I was only seeking for clarification here and I think I’ve been clarified already. Thanks anyways for the warm welcome.

Nopes not necessary,introducing yourself wouldn't change anything here,either you have been here before or you just got here for the first time. Your thread and comments on other thread will do the introduction for you. Why did I say this is that,if as a new account,you create a topic to teach forum members what they can learn from,you have gained recognition, because the quality if your post will speak for you. Like you said that you are not new here and to cryptocurrency,this will help you coup faster here.

That's what we want to know and want to see what's new in Crypto as a whole, we don't care if you have an Alt account here, as long as you don't cheat, try to cheat and violate this forum I think it will be better for you.

If you are not a beginner, we should not see threads like this here anymore, of course we will see new things in your threads, whether it's about Bitcoin, your new discoveries, crypto and so on that we have not seen and can be a good example for us to understand what you have discovered so far or before.

Although you you said you are not new here but your account is a newbie so in that case you are bearing a new identity here which means you are a newbie now.  With respect to self introduction, no one cares how it goes or who you are. Already you should know that if you say you have been here before now that this platform is a decentralised on. So it is not necessary introducing yourself here. Everyone is entitled to join the discussion and create your own post or comment without asking permission from the admin, but it would be more appealing if you have high knowledge on the topic and you have something valuable to share. Otherwise, your post may not leave a lasting impact and might not be even noticed.

However, as long as you know and understand the rules in the forum, then feel free to raise some questions or make a thread that is also relevant to the forum. No need to make a personal introduction or disclose your privacy as everyone here uses code names just to protect their real identity.

No one is expecting too much from you, and you don't have anything to prove to anyone, so share your opinion in the way that it pleases you, and don't copy other people's work (plagiarism) just to prove yourself, as that's one of the rules that's not being joked with here in the forum.

Going through all the links provided by other members above, I didn't see this: Merit and new rank requirements as it could also be considered important before you start wondering why this one has this merit, why this user has such activities, and all of that.

By the way, what do you mean by your previous account not being able to make posts. What happened. Do you mind sharing with the community? Perhaps there could be a way out and you get back to that account.

Unless the OP means a different thing, if I understood it correctly, it's referring to a proxy ban, which might be a result of the OP's location as of the time the account was created. Maybe people in that area have committed a lot of evil that made the admin blacklist the area. If that's true, then there will be no need to recover such an account, as it will have zero activities, hence zero contribution to the forum and zero merit.

This forum gives its member freedom to post the moment the account is created, although being a newbie have its restrictions to avoid spamming.  You do not need to introduce yourself but I would advice you to post a Bitcoin sign message here: Stake your Bitcoin address here for security purpose and can be use to recover your account in case it is hacked.

As you can see it evidence by the replies of everyone to your post that it's unnecessary to introduce yourself, it's not a criterion before you start to engage in discussions within the forum. Maybe you can introduce yourself to your local board as new member if that's allowed there, so all you got to do is to search for your  country local board they will be happy to have you,  but not on the general board as this. You are welcome to the forum , conduct yourself  generate value and quality resource and content in the forum that's educative and informative while you also gannfrom the knowledge of fellow forum members. No pressure, just feel at home but keep to rules it's quintessential you  do.

At first when I read your first paragraph I noticed something that I said in my mind that you are not a newbie because the way you speak, it doesn't look like a newbie, you are very much confident that you know what you are saying until you revealed your real Identity. Op you don't have to introduce yourself,  with yourself first post in the forum you have already introduced yourself, nobody needs your personal information on the forum just be yourself and post quality posts and learn.
