Actually the OP's question makes a bit of sense because it is not easy to predict the future of crypto or Bitcoin which is not easy to predict, and this is where we are always advised to use extra money or money we can afford to lose. So even though it's beyond our expectations, it's not too painful, even though there will be disappointments.
However, if you look at developments from time to time, crypto, especially Bitcoin, continues to grow and the demand continues to increase. I know that in addition to profit, bitcoin offers us many other use cases. But it would be a lie if you said you bought bitcoin just to protect your privacy and not interested in profit. Did you buy bitcoin at $69k and use it when it dropped to $15k last year? I'm also interested in using bitcoin to make myself my own bank, but I don't want to pretend that if bitcoin didn't go up, I would still care about it as much as I do now. Generally, that doesn't sound possible since the adoption will keep increasing and there will always be more people willing to buy than those willing to sell their assets and that is basically what drives the market. If there is more demand and less supply in a market, that market tends to gain value over time. So, I don't think that the price of Bitcoin will keep going down or stay stable where it is right now without any pumps and positive price movements at all.

However, if that happens, people who have faith in Bitcoin will most likely stick to it and keep holding their Bitcoins for as long as the market doesn't reach a positive point for them, and those who don't believe in it but made investments just for the short-term hoping to get a lot of profit will probably exit the market and go somewhere else.

However, I do not see the above happening anytime soon and therefore people will be accumlating bitcoin in order to hegde against inflation and it is every possibility that Bitcoin will make another all time high in less than 2 years from now.

Just let those people do say on things that they do have in mind and since this is a forum then it would really be just that fine if ever they would really be pessimistic about Bitcoin or this entire crypto space on which it would really be just that normal that there would be people have still those doubts or simply that skeptical on what we do have now. Try to look at the market history, there is usually a bull run right after Bitcoin halving, it could be in the next year when halving occurs.
It's proven by the market history and I believe that the price of Bitcoin will repeat itself.

However, IMO having a broader perspective and a long-term horizon can be beneficial and some investors believe in the fundamental value of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which extends beyond short-term market fluctuations.

This is not possible and there will be one. Why? Because the bull run is just people buying, and the fact that bitcoin is not going to die anytime soon by the looks of it shows that the trading world consists of buying and selling, you can't just keep going down more and more, it has to go up sometime to make a room and that's how trading is done. It means that we are going to end up with a result where a bull will happen and we are going to make a profit out of that as well.

Hopefully it will not be a small one and we go ballistic like we did previous times. I am sensing that it will start about late of 2024 and early of 2025 and end at somewhere middle of 2025 for sure, that's the realistic estimation of the next bull run.

You are emphasizing the main point of the OP's question, this is financial markets and how did the market stand still for 10 years? Bitcoin has been around for 14 years and as we can see, it has never stopped moving for even 1 day, let alone 10 years.

Like it or not, bitcoin is being seen by people as an asset rather than a currency, but even as it becomes more and more stable but it will retain its decentralized nature. I believe there will still be a lot of people using it for other purposes, not just for profit. But it is also undeniable that if bitcoin stabilizes then its appeal will lose a lot, many people will abandon it and find other assets to invest in.

I believe on the cycle of the market and having no bull run in the next 10 years will be worst because that means there is no progress and that is not just about the cryptomarket I'm sure it will also affect the other market. It has been mentioned many times that investing in bitcoin has risks. Only those who understand and are able to control risk are really encouraged to invest - otherwise they may need to follow the lead of old investors who have always believed in banks or other immovable assets.

There will be a lot of things happening in 10 years - of course it's still hard to predict, but I agree with some of your assumptions. Uncertainty in value, regulations and laws as well as several other things will affect price volatility in the long term. However, we can learn and believe in one thing, namely; Bitcoin is an asset that is in high demand among modern society because its use cases as currency, investment assets and will have wide adoption cases as time goes on.
