At the rate I am raising money for this project and the current saving I have, I don't think I'll be able to work on this project full-time for a month.

Unless the price of bitcoin grew significantly, I am going to have to work other jobs and save up some money. That will mean I have to work outside and inside the bitcoin economy.

I would love to be one of the first indie public domain game developer supported by bitcoin, but unfortunately I will have to delay that ambition. Thank you for your understanding.

Will it need a web server OS or people will be able to play with a local copy in their desktop machines without needing a dedicated webserver OS? How would the paying for extra energy with real bitcoins work when playing offline?

(I dont always get new reply notifications, pls send a pm when you think it has happened)

Wanna gimme some BTC/BCH for any or no reason? 1FmvtS66LFh6ycrXDwKRQTexGJw4UWiqDX Smiley

The stuff many web hosting companies use instead of regular desktop OS, like could your average joe can just download the files, pull out the internet cable, double click a file or two and start playing the game?

It is a bit more complicated than that.

You said people would pay to play, but also that it would be open source and freelly distributed; i wanna know itwo things here, if people will be able to play without sending you money (and play completly offline), and if in order to play offline people need to setup a webserver on their machine or just loading the html file from the disk into their browser of choice (given it's one that is compatible with JS etc) would be enough to play the game.

Yeah, whatever. It's public domain. Do whatever you pleased with the game.

They need to start a web server + node.js.

I would like to lower my pledge from 25 to 5 BTC, I hope that's ok (it's still more USD-wise)

Kiba, have you thought about lowering the goal of 1200 BTC?

At beginning of April, when you started this thread, the exchange rate was 0.8%, it's now almost 10 times that.

I don't have any plan to start this project I don't have enough cash reserve to work on such project.

So let this thread die. When the time is right, I'll restart my crowdfunding effort. For now, I am focusing on making bitcoin weekly a profitable and high caliber magazine. Should I get enough money from bitcoinweekly, I can start thinking about doing this project.
