I don't think any person or group can manipulate the bitcoin price. If that happens, it must be a big conspiracy involving many of the world's political elites. Just imagine, who has 540,000,000,000 in cash? That is the marketcap amount of bitcoin. If you want to set a bitcoin price, you probably need to own at least 30% of the bitcoin marketcap. It's not something that's easy my friends, to manage decentralized bitcoin prices. It's different with fiat, even though the market cap is also very large, but it's centralized, they can manipulate bank interest rates, it's easier

What kind of people are capable of market manipulation?

The kind of people with a lot of money or resources. I once spoke to a mega farmer and he explained to us how he and a group of his friends, manipulate the grain price. They will store grain in massive silos, until the price goes up and when the price is high enough... then he will take the grain to the market and sell at a premium price. 

Also, take the Gold price..... there are Gold syndicates that are doing the same with the Gold price... just to keep the price stable and constantly increasing over time.

But of course they must be people or organizations or institutions that have very large capital. Or in the sense that they have very broad powers. But market manipulation also does not always happen by certain people or institutions. The point is market manipulation does exist. But we don't know for sure who and how they run it.

A single person couldn't have a huge impact to the market if he tried to manipulate it even he put a large amount it wouldn't even a big changes in the market. Most of them are in groups, institute like the government and the elite people that can have a lot of capital to invest or dump in the market, most likely it would affect the market that's why people follow them in their social media accounts or having a telegram for them to take advantage whenever they started to call a dump or invest. Just like Elon trying to hype meme coins and people were also taking advantage by just investing on them. In my opinion, everything that related to the money can be manipulated but not all of them can be control just like Bitcoin since its decentralized that's why it's good thing to invest at it.

Manipulation is a form of behavior that we define as using others for their own benefit. In other words, it is a behavior used wherever people are, whether in crypto or in the social environment.

Manipulating the economy is acting in a way that impresses other people in order to make more money. Many celebrities do this today. At the same time, manipulation is a difficult case to prove. People who defend themselves in lawsuits say that what they are doing is not manipulation, they are just telling their ideas to others because they think that they will gain profit. Because it is the individual's choice whether to follow these ideas or not, cases often end in favor of the manipulator.

I think everything in this world that has to do with money can be manipulated. The important thing here is who will manipulate it.

There are different forms in which the crypto market can be easily manipulated and most of the time, only Altcoins do this except for bitcoin, even the ones that you see with prefix of DEFi all around their names all do this habit of market manipulation and all depends on the distribution of the coins in supply and the total supply.

-When half of the circulating supply of a coin is in the hands of one or two people, it is always easy to do whatever they want, they can manipulate the coins with the little stablecoin in their possession, drag the price to what they want and then sell everything to exit the project completely, the few buyers will be forever waiting for other victims, they may get lucky or they will remain in that lost forever.

Manipulation is an integral part when it comes to finance and investing.  you don't need to worry or doubt, just try to put yourself in that position. It cannot be denied that markets can be manipulated by those who have strong enough financial power, but this is not a common occurrence because most markets have rules, regulations and supervisory institutions that work to prevent and overcome manipulative activities in order to maintain market efficiency by respective state authorities for the stock market.
Acts of manipulation are illegal acts that harm many people, of course this will always be anticipated even though there are still some bad actors who succeed in doing it.

The whales are the types of individuals that have the amount of money to manipulate the market, sometimes they carryout this act independently  while other times the combined their forces together to pump or dump the price of different cryptocurency projects and whenever they do that affect the market gets a reaction from day traders and the market continue dumping or pumping depending on what was the action of the whales.

When it comes to trading, everything can be manipulated and this includes Bitcoin because the more the coins are saturated with some elite groups of members the higher their chances of manipulating the market but their manipulation doesn't last very long in the market.
