You are right that returns can always be expected even if we start investing today but it won't be like early investors with bitcoin. At least not in another 10 years. It will be totally unrealistic to think bitcoin will make another 50,000x from here in next 10 years. Its market cap was small in its early stage which is why we have seen a higher ROI though 10x from here will make a market cap that will be bigger than its previous 10 years combined. Some people came to the industry to make 100X with 10K so new altcoin is best suited for them as it can give you a SOL or Matic like return in the future.

Of course - it's hard to expect the same increase or ROI as early investors, but anything is always possible if you are able to develop the right strategy. After all, not all of the early investors still hold their bitcoins today - even if they did, some of them have lost access to their wallets. It's reasonable to expect bitcoin to gain 5x to 10x its current price in the next 10 years - but it certainly doesn't look easy to generate as much ROI as early investors.

Some altcoin also have the potential to make huge profits in the upcoming bull market - but I hope they all are careful and do their analysis well. Everyone who comes for investment purposes expects returns - so of course there is nothing wrong if they have more focus on something they are interested in, including bitcoin or altcoin. Money management is very important for certain allocations, sometimes I allocate special money for new altcoin investments, if they are seen as having a good future, they can become targets and airdrop budgets. We all know that. Let me make it more easier to understand what you are saying OP. Bitcoins are profitable for long term investment or holding. But people are here to make huge amounts of money in smaller amount of time. For this they are willing to take the subsequent risk also. Hence they are in search of volatile alts, all the time. Then it depends on what altcoin you are talking about. To say generically altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin is a big mistake, because you are including many shitcoins among them which aren't profitable in any ways. It's quite the opposite: they are scammy worthless tokens which won't return anything to the investor, rather they work like ponzi schemes where late investors lose all their money due to the pump and dump scheme these tokens are operated on by developers (scammers).

Well, it's a good idea about altcoins. We know that altcoins tend to not be alive for too long. That's why many investors in crypto currency are taking advantage of the new altcoins and shitcoins. It may be risky because the coin could not last long, but with the right execution or entry into the market, you can earn a lot or a big hit. But the thing is, it is most applicable to trading. You buy some fraction of the shitcoins or altcoins, then monitor the market until the price reaches its peak point, then sell if you analyse that the price of the coin will drop. What I am trying to explain is that bitcoin investments have all the security you need, which means you are free and safe if you invest in bitcoin. If you have a lot of capital to invest in for a long time, then bitcoin is the best option for you because there is no other altcoin that can be trusted for a long term of even one year because it is centralized. Altcoins give profit, but investing in them for the long term is not advisable as you may lose it all when the project crashes.

Not sure if investing is also a business but there is more profitable than Bitcoin investing in the crypto world. What about trading different cryptocurrencies? Although it needs a good skill first and that can take a long time to be built. It was worth it anyway.

I don't think that in investing in cryptocurrency we can rest our minds or to have a peace because the price is fluctuating heavily here and there are different factors which can affect them negatively. We still can distract our selves or divert our attention to other things when those things occur. There are patterns in Bitcoin but they aren't consistent, so we must be careful and won't only depend on it.
