If I go understand you correctly as you mentioned brainboss, na him be the only merits source we get for we local board and from our understanding e be like say na only locals him fit dey give merits than any other sections for the forum since him merits na for localboard. Apart from that whom do we expect to help us grow where every body dey hustle from outside, the person wey I know say for give us lifting hands for be Charles-Tim but him no be merits source. If you get am well then you go know say Pidgin English is nothing but is the combination of native language and British English. We don't have National Language so we use the broken language and the standard English language. And in the forum here, no be everybody go fit use the Pidgin English so those we no fit use fluently can use English to communicate with others.

Before I begin congratulate everybody I want to clear the board that the board don't have a merit source. I wasn't assigned as the merit source for this board so before you think I'm obligated to the board use ur head again. We need to go to meta and support every merit source application as in all e benefits the boards as those appointed to oversee the board will be obligated to distribute merits in discussion, I 'mostly' focused only on topics as that's what starts a quality conversation.

Na e make other of our other oga them like Charles-Tim, Igebotz de try apply for merit source so we go get our own merit source for here and so merit no go too dey scares for our Nija board. If you observe some other local board, them members dey always get merit Wella because Dem get merit source. The other way too be say we fit help our self, no be only meirt source go fit help. If you come across any post wey make sense Wella and u know say e deserve merit just drop if at all, this one go help that person motivate am to do more better for we local board.

As of this issue of pidgin or English, Dem don first settle am for before @Onyeeze. our people dem dey fit speak both English join pidgin sometimes sef we fit mix the two. I don't know who you are, and one thing you have to know bi sae, you are not here for someone to help you but to hustle your way out. And also those who have known book always want to express it because it they didn't do dat, it will affect dem within so dey have have to express it out always. Local na local and we supposed do am on the local way no be say the 9ja forum na for only 9ja people but for a purpose to roll on a general language all of us as local people fit cope with otherwise, I believe people surrounding our territory way dey speak pidgins also dey here as long na comfortable language for them.

This post reminds me on several occasions way be say I feel to express somethings out publicly but I dey mostly look down of the thoughts like e no go get values or impress the masses then I go just let am die within me back but before you know.... Boom. 1 jagabam go from nowhere pour out those expressions u feel e go be nonsense to the people & u go just dey see as e dey drag public interests with attentions. When i dey read some people post the thing dey sound me like sey Dem they speak correct English but this our local board na pidgin English wey dey us talk here, make our people dey use pigeon dey talk here so that wey from naija go dey understand weitin we dey cap well well, if we wan use english talk, some oyibo dey read wetin we dey talk and some of Dem dey no watsup when we talk,

OP by now you suppose don sabi a lot about the forum and this Local board but e go de do me like say you no really know much about am as i de think. During the early days wey dem wan start something about where naija people fit de relate dem get some rules wey dem don set aside and we know say any gathering wey no get rules no de last. So dem come to conclusion say make pidgin and  English be d general language for this board and if notice even for the country no be everybody sabi speak d pidgin well and English na general language for the country so i no see any reason why we go stop de speak English here.

And again na when you de do bad thing or talk bad things na im you go wan de hide wetin de hide make people no know wetin you de do and since we no de talk bad thing or go against forum rules why we no go want make oyinbo understand wetin we de talk. Na oyibo people get d forum so i no see anything wey wrong in understanding wetin we de talk. Even you sef fit go use translator go read wetin de happen for other local board but what’s the essence, though for educational purpose it’s good since you can learn something from them as well.

I understand the area wey you dey come from, but e get the way you go address the matter, him go understand wetin you dey yarn, but as you blow hot like that, e no go change anything and as nah im opinion be that, e go still stand. People dey comment and contribute for different boards, so dem fit get help to move up for d forum from outside. For dis local board, na only one merit source dey and e no dey really help our members for here grow like others. Well I no see any need for all this fighting for this side and irrespective of your rank, or age I no think say we suppose to dey fight ourselves and more over, age na just number and the forum no dey pay any regard to age but ranks and @onyeeze, I understand  say you fit don dey aroused by oga Charles response but e never reach for you to point fingers or talk to am this rude and oga Charles, with all due respect,  I understand how hard you dey try to maintain the sanity of the board but atleast try dey cover this our upcoming ones as sincerely e no easy to keep up with forum and other activities of life.

Just my kind opinion and we suppose to make the local board a leaning ground for our locals rather  than a crucifixion ground.
