This kind of occurrence has happened to me before when I wanted to bet on matches. I chance to see a sports analyst's weekly prediction for a premier league match on television. Well the story is a very common one and I've experienced  this on several occasions where there was no money for me to place a bet and fortunately all the bets and games turned up to play and I can relate with the pains that comes losing out from a possible  winning.
Well as a gambler, there are alot of things you'll  experience, from losses and winnings and what matters is the lessons you get from all of them.

Actually, addiction to gambling depends on the person playing it. If you can play it carefully, I'm sure it will be easy to control yourself.

No matter how good one thinks he is in predicting the outcome of games, there's no guarantee that the predictions are gonna end the way they were predicted so it's not advisable to borrow money to stake a bet that you have high hopes of finishing the way you've predicted them.

This is called gambling. You shouldn't regret for missed opportunities when it comes to gambling. Imagine the opposite. The things that you predicted and the exact opposite happens.
