If your adoption of bitcoin was purely for bull run's,  you need to have a rethink because the use case of bitcoin is  beyond bull run. There's a many usefulness of bitcoin than are profitable and convenient than  just bull run's.

Peradventure we never had a bull run occurring again are you going to back out your bitcoin investment or what?

That is newbie's personal perspective on bitcoin since some of them think that bitcoin cycle remain just like that and they became rich easily. They forgot to know the real use case of bitcoin that's why they face some reality check when bear market condition hit up to them. Maybe they should look at bitcoin as currency maybe they can get something realistic thinking about it and not just want to get easy richest from this coin.

Don't borrow to invest in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin is a valid advice, one that should be taken into great consideration before ever venturing into investing in Bitcoin, first before you take such risk of borrowing to invest it is Worthy to ask, how much knowledge do you have about cryptocurrency?? That's the fact, mate, and we should work to practice patience. In life, excellent things rarely come easily, so we shouldn't attempt to copy others when they are performing better than we are. Instead, we should wait for our own perfect in every way, since there is no reason to question your method of operation.

Yeah, it’s very much early with bitcoin still, we’ve got barely 3 halvings since and we have many more halvings much more than we already have to come.

If the idea at the moment is that, halvings brings about bullrun and that means, price appreciation of pumps, given that we’ve attained just 3 halvings thus far and may more to come,
Wouldn’t the natural idea from history be that, we are going to have more price appreciation in fourth coming years and halvings?

It is never advisable to borrow money to invest or start up a business. You can borrow in the course of running the business when you have seen the four walls of the business and how it works with prior experience and knowledge gained so that when appropriating funds, you know how to apply it to the business in other not to be at the losing end of it all. I think what @smartvirus is trying to say It's not about taking loan it's rather about how hard it is to letting the time slide by knowing very well the potential the next bullrun holds for you should you invest at this moment but unfortunately you just can't because you don't have the money to at the moment.

It is like watching a close by opportunity pass you by before your very eyes and you can't just do nothing not that you ain't willing to do something about it but that you don't have the means to grab the opportunity and you just got to wait for another which may take longer time.

My advise for people in this condition is to search on the internet on was on how they can earn bitcoin through rendering a service. So with your skill you can earn a bitcoin. There are remote jobs that offer to pay in crypto to their employees making you become a bitcoin hodler. Technology has expanded the alternatives ways to own bitcoin other than just through a p2p fiat purchase.

There are few important skills that I have learnt by being a part of this forum.
Patience is something that is definitely required whether you are trading, gambling or investing and holding cryptocurrencies and that is something I have learnt by being here.
Living within your means gives us the ability to manage our expenses, limit the losses and increase our profits steadily and I have learnt this well over the years.
Dollar cost average is the best technique to become rich over the long term and this is why keep investing in bitcoin at regular intervals to accumulate more over the long run.

OP, that's true and always remember that there are always market changes every week. The good and the bad are all on display and nothing is best held long term except BTC. Learn to understand the bitcoin chain. When the market moves up this week or next week, it means how we really start investing in Bitcoin properly. Educating ourselves and staying informed and patient are top priorities in this regard.
