Anyway, tomorrow Argentina and Jordan will face each other. We know that Argentina is the favorite in this match so Argentina will be ahead in this match. Probably Argentina will not field the main XI because Argentina is already the group champion so they can rest the main players.

It's hard to guess the result of this game. I like Brazil, but i can't underrating Japan. If Brazil fight a healthy Japanese squad, they're obviously in trouble. Nevertheless, i'm rooting for Brazil for this.

It is correct that in the final stages, Arsenal player gave Brazil victory in yesterday's thrilling round of 32 match. Seeing Brazil's performance yesterday, i thought they might be able to draw but they managed to reach the port of victory in the last stage, so we congratulate them. Even though I am a Brazil fan, I will at least admit that Japan performed very well today. Their defensive performance was really strong. I sometimes complain about Brazil's defense, saying that they need better players. I was impressed by the good performance of Japan's defenders, and at the same time, it raised questions about Brazil's victory.

However, Brazil put the Japanese players in good attacking form, and if the Japanese goalkeeper had not been a good defender, Japan would have conceded at least three goals here.

In this 2026 FIFA World Cup lots of African teams have tried their best, at least it’s not as bad as it used to be whereby most of the African teams leave during the group stage, their is indeed and improvement in African players/teams, lots of African players currently have opportunity of playing in other leagues of the world and this have actually boosted their game play, however, a lot of work is still required to lift African players/teams to a world ranking standard, to me they have the energy but lack the composure to maintain their lead in a match, see the DR Congo match vs England, DR Congo had an early lead but yet in the later part of the match they conceded two goals and lost to England, yesterday Senegal played against Belgium, they also had an early lead and even gave Belgium two goals ahead yet in the late minutes in the second half Belgium equalized, took them to overtime time and defeated them, this are clear signs that the African teams still lack the composure to maintain a win, goals are difficult especially when you are the weaker team, hence if any weak team gets the opportunity of having an early lead they should try as much as possible to maintain it.

Brazil were indeed lucky to have won within regulation time, if that game had gone into extra time perhaps the story would have being different or may have gone against the Brazilian team, the Japanese were very outstanding on every side, they didn't play with fear or any respect for the former champions. Senegal had a two zero lead against Belgium right into the 84th minute of the game, only for them to allow Belgium equalize and grew into the game, scoring two goals before 90minutes and when everyone thought the game will be heading into extra 30 minutes, only for Senegal to concede a penalty which Belgiums Youri Tieleman calmly took and scored to win the game for Belgium. The mentality of the Senegalese team needs to improve, they have the physical strength and ability but lack the mentality and creativity to see off the game, if they can improve on their creative ability then I don’t see any team stopping them in the future because I see they have a very strong team.
