I tried cake and it is not as good as coinomi.

That coinimi crap is literally not working, but you can do whatever you like.

I used coinomi, and that is why I can say it's big crap, after comparing it with other wallets.

Any risk that comes with Coinomi, is on my device already. If I ever choose to switch, it would be when I get a new phone. I don't need Cake wallet on my desktop, I have everything I need there already. I tried Unstoppable for a while on mobile, but it didn't work as well as Coinomi so I got rid of it again.

It works fine for other altcoins, just not Monero.

This is just an accusation. And the only one out there (ledger trezor etc have way more acusations)
I dont think the user lost funds for this reason. Much more likely his own fault.

 he probably was careless  (a person who put a life saving in his mobile wallet cant be trusted about security practices imo).

I also tried cake and unstoppable.  They are not crap, but they arent as good as coinomi.

Just being open source doesnt mean the source code and the app are good. Just mean that anyone can see it.

Just did an XMR test after seeing this. Seems to work for me too.
Just had some dust from feather wallet moved it in & out and around with no issues.

The desktop version of Coinomi seemed so promising, but nowadays it seems abandoned. It's a shame Coinomi still hasn't open-sourced its code, they said they would, right?

Anyway, I'm still unable to transfer my XMR from Coinomi. I don't know if I transferred just dust balance, they fee system is really messed up, I can't understand it. When i try with a lower fee, my transaction isn't completed. I'll try again in a few days.

I just found out that Coinomi doesn't support RBF. I think RBF is an essential and indispensable feature, they should look into this, because I like Coinomi.

The project is active, and there are new updates coming from time to time. Unfortunately,  they are more focused in their rewards system now which isnt good. With daily tasks.

This means that there are better wallets for Bitcoin (with RBF support and fully opensource), but for altcoins it might be an interesting option, since it supports many coins. However, I rarely use altcoins, only Bitcoin.

Coinomi needs to fulfill its promise to return to being open source, something they've promised since announcing their return.

Coinomi certainly isnt the best bitcoin wallet. But it is a good option  (sign messages, utxo control, legacy segwit and p2sh support, etc)

I have searched a lot and there isnt a better multicurrency wallet for android.  Coinomi is the best imo. It supports basically everything,  including monero.

As I dont hold much funds there, the security is enough for a mobile wallet.
