We all have different reasons why we join the forum or why we are here. Some are here to learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency related information while others are here to join bounty campaign and I guess someone are just here to help those who are having a hard time understanding something they are learning and maybe there's also someone who wants to join the discussions here in the forum to be updated.

Some are here for their business like a wallet software, Bitcoin Core, Electrum, wallet recovery to keep the biggest Bitcoin community updates and support. Like ThomasV, a founder of Electrum wallet, still actively answered community questions.

Some are here to provide their services like web design, graphic design and more. Many reasons to be in this legendary forum for Bitcoin users and when we are here, we are exposed to legendary members who have deep knowledge about Bitcoin, security ...

Bitcointalk is a very large Forum and it can give you all you want (depending on what you have in mind before joining) like some come here to aquire the knowledge of Bitcoin or trading and even contribute and share their knowledge on what they know about cryptocurrency.
But one thing is for sure, we're all here to learn and to me I can't point out the purpose of belonging here because that's not it, but all I can say is that Bitcointalk have taught me so much that I can't really start spitting it out at the moment...
I really appreciate Bitcointalk for uplifting so many people in different ways.

All information related to Bitcoin is always shared here every day, you can get accurate investments here without having to worry about the validity of the information. Someone who wants to develop their knowledge about Bitcoin will take advantage of all this information. You can also become a mentor for other members by utilizing important information that you find on other platforms and then sharing it here.

Apart from wanting to add insight into Bitcoin, the Forum also provides services to earn some money. Taking advantage of what the forum provides has helped me make money on the side, of course no one will miss the opportunity to learn Bitcoin while earning money. You can also be like other seniors if you really want to learn and contribute to the forum, only in the Bitcointalk forum you can increase your knowledge about Bitcoin and earn some money from using the signature space.

You need to know that of every member who decides to join this forum, I am sure the majority have the same intention. Namely learning about bitcoin and learning about cryptocurrency, by discussing with fellow members on this BTT forum. Basically, all members, including me, definitely have thoughts or intentions like that. Because this is definitely the fundamental thought of every member when joining here.

However, each member sometimes has different reasons before intending to join this BTT forum. Such as experiencing losses due to being deceived by one of the crypto projects, or being recommended by someone. So basically every member who joins this forum is looking for information and solutions to problems related to trading or investing in bitcoin/crypto.

And this BTT forum is used as a means to dig up information for all investors or people who want to invest in cryptocurrencies. So in conclusion, your intentions, the intentions of the majority of members in this forum, and my personal intentions have the same intentions when deciding to join this BTT forum.

When I first knew about the forum I decided to create an account because I immediately understood that if I wanted to learn about Bitcoin (and altcoins) I would've to be consistent and not just learn in a passive way. That was my reason to register in Bitcointalk.

In a few weeks/months, however, I heard about bounty campaigns and, although most of them in the alternate cryptocurrencies section paid almost nothing, the few ones which were successful paid well, so the initial reason to belong here (to learn) was completed by that more practical perspective I didn't expect.

 Different intents and purposes. Personally- and I'd keep saying it- I joined the forum to satisfy my curiosity. Someone told me about how you'd just get to share ideas and then boom! You get paid! I mean, where's that done?!  But I've discovered and learned a lot from being here and to be honest it beat the expectations I had of social platforms. It's an amazing thing to meet a community of brilliant minds where knowledge is not just restricted to Bitcoin alone but other topics.

It's quite obvious that every body came here to learn but a fraction of some people actually registered with the forum just for other activities like complaints they have with their  deposit and withdrawals concerning most gambling site that is advertised here because I have seen alot of newbie account solely for that purpose and other are registering just for scam purposes and others to sell their services.

We've actually got different perspectives to how we see things and, I think that's the reasons why we are different people with different sense of acumen, line of actions and motives...
I never knew there are ways to earn cash in here - so I can bodly say it's an added advantage to the time and effort, to learn and to teach others too. The forum has helped develop my technical knowledge about Bitcoin - I'm currently planning to pick up a course on programming; C++? Python?? JavaScript? Dunno yet.

First of all, because money and Bitcointalk has become my source of income for a couple of years now, maybe some people will say is it enough? or is it possible etc.
Secondly, I have gained more knowledge It has been a couple of weeks I have learned something new from the Technical Board about bumping fees, bitcoin mempool, segwit address and etc.

First let me tell you about my friend who gave me the search for this forum. My friend is helping you a lot when I didn't understand anything. Now if I need to know or learn something I can learn from the senior brothers of this forum. I am learning a lot after coming to the forum and want to learn more. This is the main purpose of my presence in this forum. I want to say one thing, all those who are new to this forum should aim to gain knowledge.

People join this forum for various reasons, ranging from looking for additional income or to learn and master crypto. My goal in joining this forum is also because of both.

But what is certain is that this forum is very complex from all aspects of crypto. I just realized a few months after being on this forum with so much knowledge. When you join this forum, you will find various sub-forums with complete information and tutorials. The categories contained in it, starting from mining, technical support, etc. Indeed, the function of crypto forums is the same as forums in general. By joining, you can ask questions and discuss with other members. But this forum is the best for learning crypto because it is complete.

As far as I know, after being here I just found out that the BitcoinTalk forum is one of the bitcoin forums used by many world-class investors and traders.

My statistics may be wrong but at least 70% of the users who signed up on this forum are here to talk about bitcoin and to earn bitcoin from sharing their opinions about bitcoin. This is nothing to be shamed of. It is only fair that we should get paid doing the thing that we loving doing. Isn't it?

The remaining 30% who are not here to earn directly from the forum are here to promote their crypto project and earn indirectly too from it. So whether they create the latest soft wallet to store your bitcoins, or they are part of the bitcoin core developer team, creating designs, logos, etc whatever it is, we are all here to earn bitcoin either directly or indirectly doing the thing that we love.

Everyone is here for one of two reasons; some are here to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, as you mentioned, while others are here to earn money, which is why they did not choose to learn about Bitcoin. However, based on my observations, many of the people visiting forums these days may be there to earn money as they are competing for merits, so I don't think anyone who is here to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will be among those that will be hurting for the merits up and down. I notice this in newbies who consistently claim to be new to the game, but within a few day of time, they will begin posting threads in the forums to offer advice to other members or fellow newbies on topics they do not understand much about or putting together stories to attract attention for the purpose of Merits.

The truth is that it is uncommon to find members of the forum who openly assert that they are there to make money; instead, most of us, especially those of us who have recently joined, consistently state that we are there to learn about Bitcoin.

I first came here to learn about bitcoin. In 2014 this was one of very few places where you could do it and I don't really like Reddit. I prefer this type of a forum, from the one with collapsing answers that create threads within threads. I stayed for the entertainment. I like the community here and you can even make a few bucks from posting.
What can I say, the forum has come a long way from where it used to be with so many new people. It also had its portion of drama, small arguments, bigger scams, people farming and trading accounts, all part of its glorious history.

Looking at my account history from the beginning of my posting, you will realize that my initial purpose to this forum was defined from the very beginning which was to make money through bounty campaigns, no matter how small the payments might have appeared to be, those where how I was introduced to this place, as a place to make and earn a living by doing few that’s so start from that point in time, I came here with the full goal of making a living, but that ended half way, until I began to gain little knowledge when I looked through the forum above the bounty section.

Right now I can say I have added an extra purpose to my money making purpose which is now reading and achieving few knowledge but the earning part is still not excluded, so my main purpose of being here is to earn, followed by learning, i was not given the mindset like other users to come and learn here and later discover how to earn, my own case was different from the beginning.

First, is to gain concrete knowledge about bitcoin and the crypto market. Being able to learn its essence not only as a profitable investment but also in the financial industry as a payment system. Second, to acquire some sustainable profits out from my knowledge and skills that were developed inside the forum. That's true, i like the fact that this forum has many opportunities it provides for it user's when they come to stay, you can contribute to the forum growth in many ways base on the level of how you understand bitcoin without having the intention of earning through a signatory campaign, you can aslo participate in one to make you earn from it which i so much recommend newbies thay want to invest but don't have the money to do so to work and earn bitcoin from here through their participation in signature campaign.

I visit a lot of English and local sub forums, there is a lot of knowledge that is really new outside the forum or even non-existent, maybe we can find some spam, but that doesn't mean anything more, we can skip, but new knowledge about blockchain, crypto , alt coins, or even bounties, really spoil the brain.

Other members i came here because of the knowledge they have, the information given and shared by other members gives me an enlighten about the things I need in the crypto world and of course during my journey I learned a lot of things that can be shared too at the same time so I giving back the same process like other members give it's just give and take here and sooner or later those contents you've contribute can be rewarded with the merit can be use to participate into different activities here in the community like signature campaigns.
