Affiliates and YouTubing is totally fine! Yes, you might be making money trading, but do you know what's better? Making money by trading AND making money through affiliates and YouTube revenue. As long as you do affiliate marketing and YouTubing in a moral and ethical manner.

As for pump and dumpers and people doing fake TA, fuck them.

And why shouldn't they? This income is even better because it is more passive than trading income. Sometimes with affiliates, when you refer them to a site, they give you a percentage of sales for life. Few incomes are better than that.

Let me try my best to answer all these questions in full.

There are traders who are social media influencers, and there are some who only have the idea but use their creative reportage skills for social media influencing. Either way, it's irrelevant, what is relevant is what they are telling you. Are they true and genuine, and are what they share helpful? If yes, it's then a win-win for both parties. I learned all that I know in trading online (through the websites and email subscriptions) and I'm proud of what I've become today in trading.

For the second part, even if you are earning in trading, they might want to earn more, so sharing through social media doesn't matter and can't absolutely define them. Everyone wants more money unless we are lazy or don't value money much.

Nonetheless, some of them are only making money from social media but using their idea of trading to get this money without being profitable in trading themselves.

People are looking for fame or like to create content, but it is easy to know if the YouTuber likes that or is a paid text. Paid texts and advertisements make the YouTuber’s content very variable. Every day he will tell you to invest in something new and completely different from the past because he is looking for profit, and here you should. Stay away. In the crypto space, the term "DYOR" is known, meaning that every user is required to have at least a basic knowledge of how to research a project independently. You can determine which influencers are worth following within reasonable limits. Some influencers are not that bad, they really explain things according to reality.

Well, I understand your suspicion, and I will say that it is totally valid for I too have once or twice asked the same question, until I meet some traders who are also YouTubers and we become friends ..

Some (note the keyword "some", not all ) are actually making money from trading, and you know what they say about diversification, or having multiple streams of income, they are also into YouTube streams and affiliate marketing as a way to earn more money.

And can I tell you something, most of this guy's even earn more money from YouTube and affiliate marketing much more than they earn from trading, but still , they are into trading because for some, it's a passion, something they love doing , while for some others, they are into trading to gain the experience they need to win subscribers to their channel .

If you have one source of income, you will avoid to join other? crypto trading and affiliate money are different thing and both has own benefits. Trading is profitable but you know that no one know which side market will goes. Trading will not gives you guaranteed profit and no Youtubers claimed that so far. Most of the new projects are just advertising but if we see the basic learning then I think it's not bad to learn from these influencers.
Youtube videos earning is without risk while trading you can loss also. I agree that many new influencers are creating video on trading course just for affiliate but there are still big Youtubers we can trust on them. Their videos consist so many valuable knowledge about cryoto market news and about some specific tokens. If i see youtubers pumping a product, I will do my own research because I have brain, No Youtubers force me to buy, I will choose my self either the coin influencers pumping has potential to give me profit or just advertising.

Not in defense of them, but why do rich people continue to work, why Mark Zuckerberg is still working, or why Elon Musk does this? They love what they do and want to achieve higher goals, whether it be a million dollars for one ad, a billion views, or millions of new followers. What is unacceptable is It promotes fraud, Ponzi schemes, pump/dump coins, and all forms of digital scam. Some of these methods violate the rules and laws of YouTube, and here such videos must be reported, while others deserve to be canceled and advised to stop watching these videos and clarify the facts.

Investment is based on planning and analysis and not listening to the opinions of experts, no matter how honest they are.

Let’s just say that some traders are not satisfied with their profits through trading, and if there’s another way to increase their profits is being a YouTuber or a crypto influencer that attract and convince people to engage in crypto trading. If they succeed, it means more profits will enter into their account, and if they end up failing, surely they will not stop there but continue to create more inspiring videos that will eventually influence the viewers until they decide to enter trading and expect bigger profits.

Being a crypto affiliate or an influencer is not actually bad, it gets only bad when you want to influence your audience with wrong information so you can achieve your own goal. However, not all crypto influencers are desperate enough to feed people with lies so that they can convince them to believe in them. Some are doing their best to show to the people the reality about trading and let them understand about it.

Personally, I think the reason why traders still trying hard to be successful on YouTubing or crypto affiliating it’s because they want to maximize their potentials as a successful trader. Who says that all the influencers are profitable traders? Most of them are just relying their income from YouTube ads, and they don't actually know how to trade. Some of them are just good at editing a replay that's why their videos are attractive to people especially to beginners.

Incase you didn't know, you can do a replay in tradingview. So if ever someone show their trades using that way, they should provide PnL or winning trades to make sure that they are not fraud.

This is a good question, but you see, money is never enough to get. You got to explore every available lucrative means to amass it and it's put in one word- diversification.

Although not all these crypto affiliates or influencers knows what they are doing, they are in themselves not good at trading, they are just selling shit all for the money  and that's why you need to be prudent which influencer or affiliate trader we follow cause most of those trading videos online are cut-and-join videos.

But there are a few successful professional crypto traders that are making profits with trading, and in their humanity they feel a need to share their knowledge and strategies with interested persons and their motive is to share their knowledge about crypto trading and not basically the need to make money through those YouTube videos .

Probably to have multiple sources of income, affiliates is also one of best ways to make passive income. As long as they do not promote ponzis/scams I have no problem with them. I mean, signature campaigns are similar, lol.

Some satisfactions doesn't only come by making profits, there are times where an individual want to do things that way more than money and gou tend to think, what the heck is wrong with them, cause they already got all the money.


The answer to that is not far-fetched from the overall view of the public about the product they are influencing for, If it is of benefit to the viewers that means they did the video with the intent to impart knowledge and give out advice, but if they do that with the sole intend lf cashing out while leading of herr into loses that means they only care about their pocket.


But the most important thing is to do your own findings to ascertain whether or not you are on the right track, and not being carried away by the activities of those influencers.

First of all, thanks everyone for their answers and opinions, I starting out my Bitcoin journey and I learn a lot from discussions like this.
So, some clarifications and a couple of extra questions...  

I get the "Why not?" part of having both revenues... but my point was that IF a Trader is also a Youtuber (affiliate) then:

- Or he IS NOT a Highly Successful Trader, or at least not successful enough so that he values the "extra income" from being an affiliate.
- Or he IS Passionate about Bitcoin (not a Highly Successful in Trading or not even a trader at all) and wants to spread the word, but still in need for an extra buck.
- Or he is a Highly Successful Trader AND Passionate about Bitcoin, but in this case an affiliate link would make no sense.

Just as illustrative (and rather grotesque) examples of my point: I do not see Michael Saylor "selling" me an affiliate link, nor Ricardo Salinas. Of course they are extreme cases, already not worried about making a buck even before Satoshi's white paper, but you get my point... Should I prefer "influencers" that do not need the extra buck? (In this case I will be restricted to millionaires with their millionaires agenda, but detached from the affiliate noise)... Is this a cleaner solution to go through the noise? Do you have anyone that consistently shares good stuff to recommend (people not companies)?

An example that comes to mind would be Aaron Bennett who offers a great informative service, and still cares for the extra affiliate money. Which is totally fine for me.
I do not have anything against affiliates (I am -and want to believe- an honest affiliate myself in another sector), just trying to pick the voices I pay attention to... and the online Bitcoin and general crypto world is quite noisy for someone entering the space.

The answer to your question is so easy, those YouTubers might not be earning that much money from their trading portfolio while they might be earning more by promoting some websites, or any product related to the crypto industry directly on their YT videos. The process of promoting them is easy and that easy process will make them a lot of money too. Then why they do not avail of this opportunity? I mean, they have to do all the analysis at the end and after getting benefit from that analysis they will do what? nothing, which Means their analysis is waste now. But after getting benefits from the analysis of him, he can share it with his community maybe in return for some paid membership.

Yes, you should definitely run from them, because most of the content creators do not really care about the money of their community or followers. All they care about the money they are going to make by promoting or pumping some product. In such conditions, never fell for FOMO and be prepare to control yourselves. The best practise I have is, I simple ignore most of them because most of the Influencers do not really share such pumping signals frequently

I can use Guy Crypto YouTube channel as an example of someone that do crypto affiliation, from the ending description of his videos, you will see his Binance and other exchange referral links for the bonus but influencing people to buy is far below his career, he doesn't do that but that guy will give you good crypto educational content for free. There is no YouTube currently that does reviews like that guy and he will warn from the beginning that they are only educational content and not should be used as financial decisions.

I don't see anything wrong in affiliate but you see influencers, they are the reason why we are where we are today, they deceive a lot of investors in to buying scam projects, they bought most of these coins when the prices were lower and shill to their fans and then sell when everything were at the top. There were lot of drama after FTX exit scam that went hard on everyone, some of them paid chain analysis to see how they rugged pull and they were draging each other. The trust is lost and most fans are no longer loyal after the incidence and I doubt if altcoins are going to grow like before as we had in the past.
