Just wondering for the sake of it, if crypto trading was so profitable for so many influencers and YouTubers, why would they care so much about affiliate money…? Why take the trouble of creating, editing and uploading so many videos? Does this mean that if you see any YouTuber or crypto “celebrity” pumping a product or trying to make a buck out of content, that you should run away from them? ‘Cos why take so much trouble if you are already making money with your trading? Of course not everyone is a trader, but…

Maybe those who are still doing it now don't think it is a bothersome thing so they are still quite happy doing it well even though they have to create, edit and upload so many videos to one or several platforms. Even though other people see it as a form of hard work, but as long as they are still happy to do it and never complain about their own work, I think it is fine and not a problem because it is also about how to make money through some their own path of struggle.

And maybe those artists, influencers, celebrities and YouTubers still think that trading is not always profitable and in fact it is. So they all still do some other work that can make money for themselves so they are still willing to promote other people's products through short advertisements and make videos for the things that people are looking for the most at the moment so that they can also get profit from this action. So I think there is nothing wrong with that as long as it can add to our income in life, because money will always be useful for anything now.

There are two things they really expect about why they regularly create content:
1. Affiliate
2. Advertising revenue.

Content creators take advantage of opportunities from advertising and affiliate revenues to gain financial coffers, while people don't realize it. Beginning traders tend to look to these content creators for direction on how to trade crypto assets well, so that is something that will benefit the content creators.

Some can be reliable at some point, others are not at all. But one thing is certain, they make a living out from those words that are coming out from their mouth. And the only way we can tell if they can be trusting or not, if they can be worthy of our penny or not is by doing our own research. That way, we will also learn from our own, and we will be more convinced if those crypto influencers are helping us to be in profits as well, or they are just taking advantage of our funds by telling things that are too good to be true.

Choose those influencers that give informative contents to his followers and actually we can actually see that. To many influencers are there for hype then care about the profit they can get from people who watch and register to the link given. Its so rare to see those people who truly educate that's why we need to widen up our research and we can find those people. Also nothing wrong about those affiliates the only thing bad about that is they are not helping but instead they help scammers to scam their followers.

As far as I know, people who upload various influential and profitable videos on crypto trading on social media are mostly misinformed. There are many such YouTubers who make such absurd videos only to increase the subscribers and views of their channels. If they were such good wise traders then they wouldn't have created such a problem, instead they would have been trading continuously and could have become rich very easily, but instead of doing this, they made videos with trouble, so we have to understand that it was a completely wrong decision. They give Also, some people give a lot of wrong information, and they do their own research and make videos where those who invest are definitely scammed. But there are many YouTubers who can do good research and make some videos aimed at profiting experienced business people, they are good and can be profitable if invested accordingly. However, there are many types of videos on YouTube, and it is possible to earn money by following them and trading.

There's nothing inherently wrong with people making a living by making promotional videos on behalf of a product or service. Unfortunately, when it comes to crypto there are a lot of people who don't have any morals whatsoever and will shill the scummiest garbage possible. The more buzzwords and hyperbole you see in a video the more likely it is to be a scam.

There are some people who genuinely want to educate people like BTC Sessions and a few others. If creating content is your main job and you're putting in a good amount of time into editing and doing research then it's completely fine to use your platform to earn money as an affiliate since YouTube sure as hell isn't going to give you a fair cut from their profits. It's the Bitboy and Ivan on Tech types who intentionally mislead and dump tokens on their followers that I have a problem with.

Better call them affiliates because they always give their referral link for each content that they make. Whether they're paid or not, AFAIK, it's still a different profit for them if they have successfully referred people and signed under their links.

But those links are also like a tracking link for their sponsor so that they will have the record if these 'affiliates' of them are effective marketers and contributes a lot to their marketing.

Just wondering for the sake of it, if crypto trading was so profitable for so many influencers and YouTubers, why would they care so much about affiliate money…?
Cryptocurrency may be profitable for some of the influencers and YouTubers but it's not as easy or adorable as most of the influencers and YouTubers says in their video or content because there's time they lost in trading.
However, making profit in trading doesnt mean they shouldnt care about earning more money through any means which the earning can be use for another important purpose or crypto long term investment.

Why take the trouble of creating, editing and uploading so many videos? Does this mean that if you see any YouTuber or crypto “celebrity” pumping a product or trying to make a buck out of content, that you should run away from them? ‘Cos why take so much trouble if you are already making money with your trading? Of course not everyone is a trader, but…
That doesnt mean you should run away, there are some infuencer that are posting educating content while there are some that make content for advertisement purpose what you need is to understand how the system works but if you dont just focus on Bitcoin investment or trading if you have the require knowledge.

Because they are not as profitable as they want to appear. I stopped believing in these YouTube videos that want to show us how quickly they can make a profit. There is no verification on how real the numbers are we are seeing online. The influencer could either fake their profits or hide all the losing trades and appear more profitable. As long as there is no independent verification on all the trading being done o would not believe them. These influencer usually get their money through number of people watching the videos and Ads on top of it. An affiliation scheme brings in additional money and let's the influencer benefit from any money the new customers bring in. This doesn't mean that all their ideas are bad. If the content creator is funny and talks about a lot of different topics then I would still keep watching them. Just don't believe everything they tell you, remaining critical and cautious can save a lot of money on a bad investment.

There are some good ones in the rough but it's true that there are a lot of bad ones along with the good ones and that causes all the problems. If there are 90 bad ones, there is only one good one among them, and the odds do not look in favor for us. This is why we should be a lot more careful about it and not make wrong calculations based on the support of some bad influencer, it will end up with us getting a bad result for sure.

We should be a lot more careful and find influencers that actually does the research and provide us proof, not just share names or something. If I can see a social media person to end up with hours and hours of hard work to provide me something, I may start to believe that person for real because he put in the effort.

The reason behind that is to earn more money, they get paid by their sponsors to from a certain trading platform and they also earn from affiliates program.

There's nothing wrong with that, I've seen couples of top trading platforms that's being promoted by celebrities and YouTubers in our country. It's up to you if you're going to use their link to get something in return like a voucher or couple of dollars once you verified your trading account on a certain platform or you could just don't and do it yourself instead.

They do this because they're not traders but influencers, they only claim to be traders to connect with their audience as that's the perfect way they can use to influence them. If they were not appearing as traders, many individual that are subscribers to their channels won't have done that or listen to what they have to say. We don't have to believe everything coming out of the mouth of influencers because as their names says, they're only here to influence and not as financial advisors.

They charge those fees to join their private VIP groups and participate in referral programs because that's how they get paid. Not every project pays them big money for promotion and to run a professional YT channel isn't cheap so for them to keep up they do other things.

The fact is that some traders do live trading, if their portfolio is good and can be confirmed, then more and more people come to subscribe which makes them truly influencers by their profession. Affiliate programs are one form of passive income that can't be ignored when it comes from large companies.

‘Cos why take so much trouble if you are already making money with your trading? Of course not everyone is a trader, but…
Isn't it obvious? It's all about money, of course. No one will ever miss an opportunity to earn money! When they upload a video, they get money for that. They are trading and making money in one way and also making money from YouTube another way. Yes, they are not all traders. Some big channel may upload a video promoting some crypto projects. But they are doing it because they were paid by that project. If you know their background and know that they are not traders and only promoting it for the money, then try to stay away from them. It will create a hype for sure, but as we all know, hype tends to die soon.

Personally, I never follow anyone related to crypto. You may follow some well known persons, but that kind of stuff is for short term gains. If you are a day trader, this may help you a lot. Because short term market movements are based on sentiments and trends. I always focus on long term gains. So all I do is buy and hodl BTC.

IMO, influencers are the cause of FUD and FOMO. So it is better to stay away from them and focus on long term investment.

They do this because they're not traders but influencers, they only claim to be traders to connect with their audience as that's the perfect way they can use to influence them.
The fact is that some traders do live trading, if their portfolio is good and can be confirmed, then more and more people come to subscribe which makes them truly influencers by their profession. Affiliate programs are one form of passive income that can't be ignored when it comes from large companies.

Most real traders don’t care about passive income from referrals. How many Wall Street traders do you see who are publishing their affiliate links to make an extra 1%.

The ones who spam their affiliate link usually do it because they want free money for doing nothing. They pretend to trade or trade with small units and trick people into think they are some great traders.
Happens all the time in almost all markets.

as long as the influencer is truly an experienced trader and shares their trading activities well. in the sense that there are also platforms that collaborate with influencers to promote their platforms. so maybe what the influencer is sharing is not the real experience. I see this quite a lot on gambling platforms, but it doesn't rule out the possibility that it is also done by exchange platforms.

Regarding Affiliates, everyone can do it. and that will be passive income that can be obtained apart from trading or streaming activities. there's nothing wrong with that. everyone deserves to grow their income. the most important thing is that they do it well and don't aim to create a pump and dump scheme with the streaming videos they make.

Does this mean that if you see any YouTuber or crypto “celebrity” pumping a product or trying to make a buck out of content, that you should run away from them?
Most of the opinions from these crypto influencers are not reliable because they don't have the years of experience in the space to be able to give any sound advice. That is why you often find them repeating what most analysts are saying and some are creating hype to pump and dump. Once in a blue moon, they may drop some solid advice but still, be cautious and do your own research very well before taking their advice. Those who didn't have lost a fortune.

There are others that have long years of experience in crypto but are still dumb and still giving advice to others and others are also affiliated with it which is why they keep advertising it. But most of the influencers that I've seen have been in the crypto space during the COVID which is not that long experience and that is why I don't listen to them and always skip their videos. It is better to get advice from yourself from the knowledge and research you've conducted before concluding you'll invest in it.

Influencers are just making it content because they know that they will gain views because a lot of people are interested in it.

The diversification of income streams, such as combining trading profits with affiliate revenues, is a wise strategy for financial stability. However, the integrity of content should always prevail; influencers should prioritize genuine advice over monetary gains

Of course not everyone is a trader, but…
A lot of them are mostly for our money. That is why it’s better to trust our own research and analysis in order to avoid huge losses in the future. Although there are still few who deserve our trust, and we can learn from their shared experiences, but just to avoid regrets in the end, learn to trade on your own by not trying to imitate others. Remember that what may work for others may not be working for everyone.
