If Amazon accepted bitcoin that would be a game changer as literally overnight we will be able to use our bitcoin to buy in one of the biggest centralized marketplaces that exist with millions of products, but when it comes to Tesla what else do they have to sell other than overpriced cars? To me it makes no difference if they accept bitcoin or not, and I am sure many other people are in the exact same position.

what people are seeing here is the hype in the market if tesla will accept btc again. but yeah, i can agree that if amazon will start accepting, that's a very good boost to the btc market, as it encompasses a large population of online shoppers. this situation, i guess, will happen sooner or later. so long people are trying to get involve in this market, adoption will continue to increase.
we can't rely on elon's words here. after all, he is a businessman. he will say what he thinks is favourable to his business.

I doubt that they will accept bitcoin again, I mean they did if I'm not mistaken, but suddenly, Elon change his stance and go against bitcoin and then uses Doge as another crypto to hype and that's what happen.

And then later we find out that he sold or at least his company sell their stash of bitcoin in order to buy Twitter this year. Anyone, for me Elon is just a foregone conclusion in bitcoin, and we shouldn't trust this guy again as he has his own narrative behind his so called pro-Bitcoin stance years ago.

Personally, I still think that Elon still maintains his stance in favor of bitcoin or the cryptocurrency industry. He is a technology lover so he will not ignore these new technologies, but profit is still what he always puts first.

Speaking of Tesla accepting bitcoin again, I have my doubts about that too. But if we talk about X(Twitter) accepting bitcoin and doge in their payments then I wouldn't be surprised. He has the power to get Tesla to accept BTC, and he and his companies could buy potentially hundreds of billions of dollars worth of BTC. I agree with your opinion, he is not consistent with his promises because everyone can judge what he did before, when his goal was achieved to strengthen the bitcoin market price, he also issued a statement that bitcoin mining was not environmentally friendly which had a negative impact on the market. I have stopped following any crypto news related to Elon, I realized that the bitcoin market cannot be manipulated because without market support the price increases will not last long term, they will definitely TP at some point and the price will decrease again, so make sure the market increase is not caused Elon's statement or other figures because I don't trust that group.

It's not really about him or whether he likes or dislikes Bitcoin, but it's about his businesses and whether he will start accepting Bitcoin payments for his companies or not which will surely make a difference for the time being because Tesla is not a small company, it's one of the most popular car companies in the world and if they start accepting payments in Bitcoin and announce that for the public, that will surely help give Bitcoin a generous push towards the bull run.

If given the chance, I bet he will continue to repeat his manipulative behavior to make a profit. He is a businessman and profit is what he desires so there is no need to be surprised if it happens again. I believe that at some point, people will no longer trust him and the market will no longer have any influence from him, just like how we eliminated China's influence in the past.
