Are you doing this intense gambling experience by betting significant amount of your bankroll? This is insane but worth it if you are a thrill seeker for entertainment.

In my case I don't, as I tend to control my emotions quite well in this respect, although when winning a big win, for example, it is inevitable to feel a rush. What happens to me when I'm losing is the opposite, I get bored and cut the session short, I stop playing instead of playing what I have left, which is what you do. Sometimes I've planned to cut the session and I've extended it a bit more to see if something would come out, but if I continue with a losing streak, in the end I close and leave.

Stopping when you lose is recommended so we don't experience more losses. And you have done what is best for you so that you can control your emotions quite well. It requires continuous practice and not many people can do it. But if someone makes his last bet by betting big money, he should have thought about the risks because if he loses, he could lose all his money on his last chance. And @OP can accept the risk so he still often does it even though there is regret at the end of the game if he loses, but it is normal for someone to regret at the end of the game because they have lost.

Stopping when you lose is recommended so we don't experience more losses.
We should be specific with this, though — having a certain amount as a limit is necessary, as stopping when we lose is not the right way. The thing is, we gamble to win, so why would we stop when we lose, especially when there's still a portion left in our bankroll? Sometimes we have to trust our instincts, take bigger risks, but it's important to stay disciplined and stick with the game plan, being specific at all times.

We don't necessarily have to stop or pause when gambling as long as we can afford to continue with the gambling since we have the money and we are not gambling to make money but to have fun, you may agree with me that not every gambler is that interested in making money, maybe if we can first considers the loss and the fun both altogether, then we choose which to go after first because all fingers are not equal, the capacity we all have in finances are different from each other, but on a general note, we should not gamble too much that we don't take a look on how we've gone on recent.

Everyone has a different view, it seems you are an addict who may have the mindset of gambling to win, I think that is wrong in my view, because if you gamble without clear limits it will waste all our money, there is still time tomorrow to play again if you lose or not. There is no harm in stopping for a moment, especially if you have reached your gambling budget limit.

Gambling must have a budget limit because that way we can avoid addiction and not exceed the limit, never bet to win because it will never end, there is only spending money, bet to have fun so that when we lose we don't continue to be obsessed with winning and fall into the trap. to the point of going beyond the point of even addiction, but it still comes back to the fact that each of our views are different, it seems your view is different from some of the more normal gamblers. BTW, our instincts are not always right

Gamble only what you can afford to lose, as they usually say, and I agree with it. In gambling, the key to winning big money is not a one-time success; consistency is still the key to that success. We cannot achieve that in just a short span of time; we have to train ourselves, improve our skills, and eventually, we will become successful in gambling. Betting a significant amount is only advisable if you are truly confident and your statistics show that you are already profitable. Otherwise, it's best to keep it low and just have fun with gambling.

My heart palpitates during this bet and I really love the intense feeling.

That's what gets people addicted and I feel like you're going to have some problems quitting because the way you describe it, you like it too much and in time you're going to bet more and more to feel like this, just like a climber must go to a higher mountain to feel like he's achieving something and a race driver is going to push the car to the limits because it's harder and harder to get that adrenaline rush.

Quote
Most of the time I lose on this but it's really worth it if I win since I recover my original bankroll plus sweet profit of 20% of my bankroll.

But you lose most of the time. That and the word "worth it" don't go together well.

Quote
I'm always doing this whenever I'm down after long gambling session just to finish with a big bang of surprise.

And feel even more beaten most of the time.

No, the maximum I already bet in a single shot was 9%-10% of my total bankroll. I fear to bet more than that and regret later. It must be really painful to lose a considerable portion of your bankroll because a wrong single bet. It would definitely impact my mood negatively for days until I could assimilate the situation better. Anyway, initial bets shouldn't exceed 0,1%-1% of your total bankroll. To reach an extreme like I did to bet 10% at once was due to facing a long loss streak and trying to recover what was already lost, in vain...

Exactly what you have done, never be interested in allocating large amounts of money from what you have, I expect most gamblers including newcomers will put 1% - 5% of the money they have at that time. Even though they may be wealthy people but I still think that kind of budget limit is necessary, they are still at the beginning and if they are able to set such a small budget for gambling then even if they want to increase the amount of bets next time it will definitely be difficult to do because they are used to small budget amounts, and well there will definitely be a fear of increasing that amount, like you said and indeed it is much better.

I think everyone and anyone is obliged to apply a lot of restrictions when they want to gamble, none other than for themselves especially so that their finances do not plummet too much due to loss, because it is true that if they come with no limiting tools whatsoever then obviously negative impacts will come, even they could lose all their money in one night. So the point is that it is better to use the limits that you think are the best, it will be very useful when we gamble, because it is the only tool that can help you to minimize losses, in fact it is better to prevent than to cure. I hope you can recover your losses soon.

well, when I put money in the casino, before I put the money in the casino I make my calculations of the amount of money I will put in each game and how many games per week I will bet on them, for example if this week at most I will place a bet on 5 games and I intend to put 2$ in each game, so I put 10$ in the casino and follow this management without deviations, that is, even if I lost in 3 games, which would be a loss of 6$ and I only ended up with 4$, I I don't do that kind of thing out of desperation or getting angry and putting all the remaining $4 into a single game. I don't do that, because it would be breaking my bankroll management and at that moment I would no longer be playing a responsible game and I would be letting my emotions take over me, something that shouldn't happen

I know that many people, when they put money into the casino, still have no idea how to manage their bankroll and don't have any strategy or goals, they just play and then when they are losing a lot, they soon give up and put everything they have left into one round, as if they were going to think: this is all over and that's why it's all or nothing. When you are lucky enough to win using this method, you soon think that it is a good method that works. I know this because that was exactly what I did 4 years ago when I started gambling, I remember that at that time I had no idea how to analyze games

but I put money on every game that involved a high team against an average team, in this scenario my bet was on the big team, but I lost my bet because the big team drew and with that my bankroll was greatly reduced, and when I realized that There was little money left for my bankroll to run out, so I put all my money into another game that was also a big team against a small team and luckily I got it right, this happened to me 3 times until I decided to stop playing because it was pointless to continue doing it. that kind of things

I used to be a risk taker before where I risk my last fun just to recover my losses from a loss streak but I realized that it isn't helping but rather makes me feel regretful in the end. Since then, I strictly disciplined myself and put limitations in all that I do. I learned to stop when I have reached my limit and not to touch my remaining balance once I exceed.
If we will not control our emotions then it will be the one who will control us which might ruin our gambling journey which could actually lead into gambling addiction. Proper control is always necessary and we shouldn't have to be risk takers all the time.

I try significant amount but it is relative. However I don't keep going on it especially if I have recorded lose meaning I give up to reducing my stake. If I keep losing then it tells me it is time to give up on that day to try next time. I don't allow the greed to play on me because most times what gamblers do is to look at potential winning and not at possible winnings. So I do calculate my chances to a game and if I'm not getting it that way I believe it is not my lucky day at it , instead of forcing it I will let go for that day.

10% of our bankroll is still a good amount to get but for me 5% is okay, honestly in the world of gambling we must know that not all the Time we will win and most of our time is that we will loss but still a good decision and choose the amount of money we will bet. But once we will loss a quiet big then all we aiming for us to recover that loss so we decide to bet much bigger so if we will win our loss will came back.

I'm always betting significant amount when I'm in the losing streak, Let's say only 30% left from my original bankroll after playing 1hr to 4hrs of non-stop Blackjack.

I always bet all-in which is my remaining bankroll that is significant amount for me on a 25% win chance rate bet on dice game. My heart palpitates during this bet and I really love the intense feeling. Most of the time I lose on this but it's really worth it if I win since I recover my original bankroll plus sweet profit of 20% of my bankroll.

I'm always doing this whenever I'm down after long gambling session just to finish with a big bang of surprise. When I lose at least I experience the thrill same with win since I have profit.

Are you doing this intense gambling experience by betting significant amount of your bankroll? This is insane but worth it if you are a thrill seeker for entertainment.
uhh... this is too reckless and careless for some gamblers, including me, to do and I always try to avoid this because it is too risky for me to do. And I also realized that I was gambling not just this time, but in the following weeks I always wanted to gamble and gamble, so if I went all-in in one game I was very worried if the money wouldn't come back because again I only to get defeated
So in the end I became confused about gambling in the following weeks because I ran out of capital to gamble.
So it's a good idea when we experience consecutive losses, what we have to do is withdraw from gambling as soon as possible, before something worse happens to us, namely even bigger losses in gambling.
Only a few of gamblers who dont really mind on losing as long they do able to experience the thrill that they do seek or simply they had really enjoyed the game which it was really that supposed the main reason on why we do gamble and on why its been created which it is really that intended just for "fun" but we know that there are people who dont really like on losing money or the game on which they would really be that too positive that they could really be able to make up some winnings and when they lose then they cant really be just that able to accept it and this is why they would really be that impulsive when it comes to their gambling session
because they are really that expecting that much which arent supposed to be done because it would really be just making you desperate and if you arent that careful in regarding with your motives
then this is where it would really be making you desperate and this is where mistakes and errors would happen due to wrong bad decision that has been made basing up with those bad assumptions and targets
that you do have in mind.

Getting a big win in gambling is a big hope for everyone who is involved in gambling. And it is true that, when we expect too much to win, there will be something bad that will happen to us and one of them is by making crazy bets.

I am quite aware that I very rarely get a big win in gambling. But this does not make me completely abandon gambling. So what I do is to limit myself when gambling, namely by limiting my deposit, bet amount and time to play gambling. So even though I can't get a big win in gambling but at least I can minimize the losses I experience and I am also quite aware that victory does not come in every game, so going all-in for one game is ridiculous.

And All the things and limits that I apply in gambling are nothing but this I do for my own good in gambling.

I never go all in on a single bet, even after losing a few bets in a row. I tend to follow the plan.
That said, I rarely play fast games like dice or crash. I try to bet on sports more, so after losing a few bets I just go on like normal and follow my intuition. Sometimes you just can't help it and can't avoid the loss.

OP, you say you lose that all in bet most of the time, why do you continue to do it then? Feels a bit suicidal to me, but if it keeps you sane, I won't argue. It's important to stay away from mental institutions Wink

Are you doing this intense gambling experience by betting significant amount of your bankroll? This is insane but worth it if you are a thrill seeker for entertainment.

No definitely. During the time of my gambling spree, I only betted the amount that I am willing to lose, which is around 20% of my current savings given by my father. Regardless of the result whether I profit or lose, I stop gambling once I spend the amount that I initially allocated for it.

Good for you OP since you managed to recover your winnings at the end of your game. But please be careful as these results can be two-sided. While you may experience winning most of the time, never discount the possibility of you losing more than what you have started.

Correct, sometimes losing is more than winning. We should have a proper limitation to the amount of money we are about to spend so that we will not be out of our current budget and it will not be a problem for us since we will have a clear amount in our mind that when we are losing we will not add more money to play with it since it will be hard to stop when we don't have a limit.

Yes, and it makes sense that limiting funds or limiting oneself is a simpler and slightly easier way for gamblers to do it, but the problem is that it all still depends on the thoughts of each gambler.
Because even if you plan something to limit your budget or limit yourself from betting, you will still break these rules yourself when your desire to win big becomes stronger, you are too brave to take risks and ignore your own rules, which ends up running out of budget again.
With this I am a little doubtful that even experienced gamblers will fail to limit their budget or stop when they lose because it is very difficult for gamblers to stop unless they have no more money.

That's what I thought when I read his post. Is he trying to wing it up to a point at which he panics and goes all in thinking that if the gods want him to go bust he's not going to wait, or is he bored by hours of gambling with no thrill and wants to give himself a boost and go all in?

I never do anything like that. If I did, I'd feel like the game threw me off balance and made me panic and go all in when there are no signs that I should do it. If you want to go all in, just do it, don't play for 3 hours trying to win and then break down and bet it all.
