Not everyone wants to have their identity laid bare before the world. Especially people whos face would be known by everyone in the world. Fame is a lot of anxiety for some people, while for others its a dream come true. Take Grigori Perelman for example, a genius mathematician who changed the world forever by solving one of the 7 millennium problems. He would rather stay away from cameras, paparazzi and interviewers.

Or the guy who invented Flappy Bird. He could have become very rich and famous but decided that he did not want that.

Those kinds of actions might seem completely insane and out of touch with reality to us, but such people exist.

I see no need to create conspiracy theories about Satoshi Nakamoto.

Of course they cooperate, but they are still two different agencies that have their own working methods and areas in which they are active, and it's not like they really interfere in each other's work if it's not absolutely necessary. In addition, the agency we are talking about is still much more secretive and deals with some things that are much more shrouded in secrecy than other agencies. That's why it earned the nickname "no such agency".

No real proof though. But it's possible that all these lawsuits and regulation meeting is just a play.
The monetary system in the US knows that decades later, economic collapse will happen and the 2008 crash was just the beginning. BTC becoming a global reserve will be acceptable soon while they are not up to go back to the gold standard. Blackrock adopting BTC is just the start of it while SEC is just trolling.

Don't easily believe on what you read or see in internet since any article could deceive you. Satoshi's identity is a hot topic that's why many media sites create fake claims so that they can gather a lot of engagement and earn a lot of money from it. Just wait for someone or entities that can show a strong proof that can expose the real identity of the Bitcoin creator. Its a waste of energy to believe or engage with their claims if they cannot support it with strong evidence.

Apart from admitting to inventing bitcoin, what else will the NSA admit to. News continues to be reported that shows controversy and I am sure this will continue to happen and be done to bring down Bitcoin which is considered successful. Maybe in the future it will no longer be the NSA who will admit that bitcoin is their invention, maybe someone else.

Because they didn't, because bitcoin transactions are free from government control so they can't ask for KYC inside the network, they can only ask for it when you are trying to exchange bitcoin for fiat, that's the border of their power over bitcoin, and because after 15 years nobody has been able to touch any "blocked", or "unblocked" addresses without having the private key.


Why are people obsessed with such notions? So what if aliens created bitcoin? You just enjoy this amazing ability of transferring money worldwide without ever leaving your room and having people asking all sorts of questions. Let go of such theories.

NSA is or are not the creator of bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto invented bitcoin and made a success on it, many other coders and cypherpunks would have previously worked with the NSA in the past, which some of them were part of the contributors to the development of SHA256 upon which bitcoin also work with on the blockchain, if the NSA are the ones who created bitcoin then maybe he would have accepted that bitcoin is not a decentralized digital currency, because they will be in charge of every modification on the network.

Thanks for sharing this information, because if did not knew that there is another organization claiming to be the founder of Btc. The answer to your question lies in the same article you have provided. In which the former NSA cryptanalyst Jeff Man, said "

Means, now, we know that, Satoshi is the real founder because he is registered here on BTT and also have a lot of BTC in his possession. Which makes him the only founder of btc. Did NSA have any founder registered on this forum? No, they don't which indicates that, they are just after the btc technology and wanted a way in to make it centralized and to make it a property of USA.

Which is not good. Overall, now things are not in their hands and I am happy for that and according to the stories in news you have shared they are making this sha256 encrypted techniques for encryption of messages of attacks. If I did not interpret them wrong.

Means, they were not trying to make btc or some coin even the content of the mint white paper mentioned in the article does not says much about btc.

So many conspiracy theories about the creation of Bitcoin but little fact to prove its authenticity. The concept or vision of a decentralized currency might not be the idea of Satoshi but it was him that implemented the idea and came up with something unique. This theory has some claims that look valid but they can also be a coincidence. The names Tatsuaki Okamoto and Satoshi Nakamoto might just happen by chance. Some of the proponents of this conspiracy theory such as Nic Carter and  NSA cryptanalyst Jeff Man might just be attention seekers. It is Satoshi Nakamoto who created Bitcoin until these Faketoshi prove otherwise.

There isn’t any direct evidence in the news or on the article you provided that the NSA is behind the creation of bitcoin. “Just a ton of circumstantial evidence” equals nothing solid or concrete enough to be considered truth.
Asides that, if the NSA is really behind the creation of bitcoin which I think is quite far fetched, what’s in it for them? Surely they must have an angle.

Actually for me personally theories like this are quite cliché, and we have found a lot of conspiracy theories about the process of creation and the creator of Bitcoin.
Talking interesting or not about this, for me is quite interesting, because after all I am very curious about what happened in the formation of this technology.

Logically about the issue of leakage, they should have claimed Bitcoin at the beginning of the release and when Bitcoin booming in the early years. Why did their conspiracy appear in 2023?
It should have showed a complete proposal about what is appointed as evidence of conspiracy as a reading, but I strongly believe that it is easy to manipulate, and fools believe it.

Hmm, I would like to endorse this as it really doesn't matter anymore, what we can get from it, as I was going through the thread reading found a buddy has said even he was able to reveal his identity and he didn't so why dining the empty land where you cant find any more clues.

Also as ETFbitcoin said this is not the only paper having similarities with Bitcoin, and this is not the first time we are debating on this, What's motive, and what can be the outcome as we know even after knowing the identity of the creator of worlds most recognized digital currency you cant change the progress it already made out.

Historically many American cryptographers worked for the NSA, of course they are not going to disclose it. Maybe a group of them did create Bitcoin. Does it matter? Not in the least, because its Free Open Source Software. The NSA made SELinux in a hope to better secure assets from other agencies, and yet anyone can benefit from that project.

Replacing the US Dollar may be harder to justify for a State entity, but its true that people working there have the passion for it. I wouldn't be surprised, nor care if it was a direct project, or indirect project. Didn't we have Tor from the US Navy? Who else used Tor?, yeah, Satoshi connecting to this forum of his... Same story, FOSS use it if it benefits, check the code if you are paranoid of backdoors.

I think they are delaying the ETF because they want to use it in their own favours. One thing they have acknowledged is that they cannot control the BTC blockchain, but now they also realise that they should not ignore this opportunity while they can fill their pockets with a huge amount of money. If you still do not understand, then allow me to explain it more.

They are dealing with the ETFs because they want to use them as fuel so that they will accept them at the end of the halving or when the bullish cycle starts. By doing that, the market will take a boom and BTC will go beyond its limits.

They cannot control the blockchain because the validators and the authenticators are scattered all over the world, and they cannot overtake the whole blockchain. Even if they ban the use of BTC or blockchain in some single country, the blockchain will still keep going. They cannot make others join their club so that they can make it centralized by controlling it using others. Because other validators will not join them.
