I believe what most times what causes addiction is as  a result of chasing losses. All these happens because they do not gamble for fun but with the mindset of making profit which is not bad but it calls for them to gamble responsibly and have self control.

Yeah that's very correct, in most cases addiction could sometimes cause by chasing the losses and wining, because so many gamblers has been facing this challenges of continuing gambling even if they keep losing, however in that moment there mindset is always that if they keep on gambling there could be chances of getting a wining from it and before they realize they had already become an addict.
