Is there currently a solution or advice from Trezor?
I didn't spot any posts from their support staff on the following threads
[#1, #2 and #3], but this is what they said for a somewhat similar issue on the Model T:
Does Nano Ledger also experience this? wow, what do you think is the cause? and is there a solution from Ledger regarding this problem?
Yes, it's a common issue with their discontinued S version
[refer to the number three on "this" thread] and the only solution was/is to replace it with another display that'd probably also die.
Thank you for your useful tips. I will examine this further. And looking for someone who specializes in electronics in my area to help with the screen recovery process on my trezor. Luckily Trezor Suite still detected my hardware wallet device
If I were you, I'd try to do it by myself
[you can still open it without a tool like... Another user did it with just an "Exacto knife" on the Model T (the same applies to Model One, but you need to be patient while you're trying to pry it open)]!
