As for what percentage of luck is needed I think it depends on what kind of gambling they are doing, and well for example as you discussed above, about gambling or sports betting, there a skill is needed and you can also increase the chances of luck to get a win by doing some analysis on the club you choose, whether it is convincing enough for you or not, if not then you can move to choose another club. You nailed it @Rabata. A gambler seriously needs to be lucky most times in other to win their stakes but that doesn't mean that for one to be successful in gambling, he only needs luck. Sports betting as a form of gambling requires intense analysis of games in other to place bet with the best possible options that'll facilitate winning.
