I have held onto airdropped coins before and they usually don't see their listing price for long time, so I'm planning to dump this time around. I don't have kyc on cexes $TIA is going to get listed at, hopefully it'll be osmosis soon enough.

Yeah damn lucky. Some here dont believed in airdrop and focus too much on bitcoin saying, alts and airdrop arent worth at all. Well if that $50 to $200 vps worth of bitcoin at the time of that node runner how much is worth now. Compared to chances like this? Anyway thats on them. But saying investing on bitcoin than venturing on alts is more profitable well I dont think so, rhere are cases alts given users so much profit. I think it's worth it. In this project, the node operators probably wouldn't have expected to receive such a large amount of money. Although there have been some large self-rewarding projects in the past, it is similar to another marketing method that also receives fomo, sometimes I have witnessed people massively neglecting it, wasting time with lots of nodes on different projects. But anyway, this project has brought happiness, congratulations to everyone who has received airdrop rewards from the project.

Anyway, it really was an easy income since I had never heard of Celestia before the announcement of airdrop. Therefore, I did not have to specifically perform any actions to receive an airdrop, and all I had to do to receive it was to specify my wallet in a timely manner.

its always at the times when airdrops hitting the low bottom that such massive airdrop taking places, i remember aptos also arbitrum.
and indeed, some people are getting really good rewards from this one event, i've heard also some people that ran light node are also getting some massive rewards too.
considering the fact that it requires small computing powers quite literally raspberry pi already suffice which is kinda massive if you think about it.
I guess running node will be the next trend but alas, any incentivized node airdrop will be giving small rewards from here on due to massive participants.

Market is just turning bullish and yet $TIA for light node operators is like $20k at current $2.4 per TIA price, light node operators got 8500 TIA (there were other two types of nodes, I dunno amounts), it'll probably be worth much more in bull market and may dethrone dydx as biggest airdrop in history, some people got $125K worth of tokens there.

It don't think node campaigns to get massively farmed as have they requires some investment and is sort of techy (tho, geeky persons may farm multiple themselves). Also, often you can judge yourself whether something is being farmed massively or not, if it's oversaturated don't bother with it. In my knowledge, we've seen two projects giving airdrops for operating nodes, one being Aptos and other being Celestia.

p.s. People who want to sell without kyc can use mexc or osmosis exchange. For some reason with Keplr extension I couldn't deposit into osmosis, it kept giving fee error. It dawned me after an hour that I could use Keplr mobile app and it was smooth there however by then TIA dumped a bit so I got less. I sold this time, cause I did't sell arb early then it dumped bad.

I have seen someone got around 58k TIA token which is so crazy. I can imagine that how much money can be gotten by running light node only for a few months.

Yes actually its a free gift at all causw all havw nothing to do in order to get this except being engage on defi products on evm and those cosmos stakers who always having some privilege on airdrops like neutron, stride and now celestia. Damn...  It's pumping again and it's more than 100% in just a couple of days.  What was the eligibility for this one?  It looks like I might have taken another one for granted and let it slip away again.    Never thought TIA was gonna be anything because I didn't do any due diligence.

So I did a little research and it's looking like if anybody is looking for another alt that could have a run like what SOL had at 2020 - 2021, TIA might be it.

As it is often happens to me, when I hold any of the coins in my life its prices has been dumped but when I sold them then its prices increases and the increase in the price is so high even. Which happens to me here also, as I was received the Celestia Airdrop from the Celestia Team about $400+ and when I sold them at initial stage it was almost at $2.30 but it reaches to $5 now and I had missed the opportunity to hold it for this time and received the higher amount. This is not the first time happening to me,  I had even experienced it often.
I don't know what happens to me when I was not holding it when it was below 2$. So, this is a bitter truth that holding is too difficult for a trader that he can hold and take the benefits in the future.

its crazy after massive sell off by the airdrop receiver it instantly got pump, unlike most of other coins that generally just slowly building up their momentum after the sell off tia just went and score 200%.
It seems like the increase haven't ended here and there is more to come, those that faithfully holding their TIA airdrops are definitely making some serious dollars out of this.

Well, same happened to me. I kept holding $ARB and it dumped from 7$ to 70 cents, and now that I sold Celestia keeping in mind arbitrum scenario, it has increased a lot.

I think it comes from the fact that we only remember negative moments. I am sure that you have had such deals when you sold a coin and the price dropped after that, but you do not want to concentrate on such moments, leaving only the negative in your memory. So approximately everything should be in equilibrium according to probability theory.

I'm looking at the chart rn and the momentum is still going a lot stronger than expected...  I mean with TIA being an airdropped token and all.  We'd expect it would usually go flat and slightly trend down after a small run up just like what ARB did.

But what's going on with TIA could mean that Layer Zero should get their airdrop going too and asap before the whole market turns a bit bearish.    I think if Arbitrum did their airdrop around Jan or Feb this year, ARB would've ridden the wave.
