I made Bitcoin Core/Electrum hardening/development tutorial against viruses and malware, which was based on new principle.
The main advantage - this tutorial help to fight unknown yet viruses and malware, so this is large cyber security development for Bitcoin Core/Electrum users.
When I put it in the Marketplace/Goods/Digital goods section with good price and free vauches for forum members, forum admin delete the thread after two days.

I joined this forum and I learn and know about ways to avoid malware. I did not buy any book for it.

I made Bitcoin Core/Electrum hardening/development tutorial against viruses and malware, which was based on new principle.
Anyone that mention virus and including it with malware as if it is the most important malware to avoid, the person does not know about malware. Virus only accounts for less than 2% of malware and only what it does to device is to make it to function abnormally, unlike the common ones like Trojan horse, Rootkit, ransomware, spyware and combination of malware.

First of all, this thread doesn't belong on "Development & Technical Discussion" board since the main topic is about moderator's action. For those who want to check OP's sale thread, open https://ninjastic.space/topic/5468224.

I don't know about other member, but if i want better security i'd use either airgapped device or Qubes OS rather than buying guide.
Airgapped device ir very good ( but it is not fast and easy way for everyday transfers ), but for Qubes OS just some computer/laptop hardware will support it. It is rare OS, plus there are also security questions. My tutorial give clear better security advantage on different principle, which is fast and easy in every day wallet use.

I'm curious, what exactly do you mean by "plus there are also security questions" on Qubes OS? Anyway, i expect people who bother to use Bitcoin Core (since you need to download 500GB+ blockchain data) is less likely to buy security guide.

Security questions in Qubes OS - qubes share a root filesystem, copy - paste through RAM between qubes etc. For example, virus/malware can firstly go to the RAM and then live in the RAM, until you shut down. Qubes OS is rare, so there are many questions.

When I put it in the Marketplace/Goods/Digital goods section with good price and free vauches for forum members, forum admin delete the thread after two days.

The moderators handles everything that has to do with deleted posts, have you considered reading the rules to that thread and that of the forum at large and see if your contents does not violate any of them, secondly, your post might have been reported by several members to the moderator after careful consideration and observation base on the content, if something like this should happen, then try to know why before making an accusation.

Your topic was probably deleted by one of the moderators because it was on the report list, which means that some user reported it. Only he can tell you exactly on what basis he did it, but I believe there is a good reason for such a thing.

Besides, if you have already done something useful that could be of help to the community, why did you have to put a price on it? Many members do a lot of useful things for the forum and do not ask for any compensation for it, but that does not mean that they do not receive an occasional donation for their work, which is a win-win situation for both parties.

I put the price 0.00052247BTC on the tutorial, because I like how Bitcoins balance is going up in my wallet. I also agree to give 5 vouch copies for free to forum members for reviews. 0.00052247BTC is not so high price to make your wallet much more safe from viruses & malware.

So, it's not just that you made a Bitcoin Core tutorial and it was deleted, you were actually selling it. Did I understand correctly?

Moderators can make mistakes and we as forum users can sometimes disagree with what they do but seeing the great idea you had in the other thread it seems to me that the moderator who deleted it should not have been wrong.

It doesn't make sense to me that your thread selling an e-book about wallet security is deleted, because those things are generally just fine in that board.

Did you try asking the moderator who deleted the post? If you don't know which one did it, you can message the moderators whose names are listed on the board and get a clarification from them.

In fact this tutorial is for all members to hardening their wallets. If the moderator delete the thread, what can I do ?
Sometimes it is hard to believe, that you can have much more safe wallet, but admin just delete the possibility.
Here is the link of deleted thread https://ninjastic.space/topic/5468224. I will also do not make higher price, hope it will help a bit.

Why are you explaining yourself to people here? Did you do anything wrong? Why on earth you are talking about the price?  You have something to sell, you have posted a thread to offer your goods but it got deleted either by mistake/accidentally or there could have been a rule violation, until you hear from a moderator/staff, you don't have to discuss/defend your tutorial.

After rechecking digital section, i agree with @NotATether there's no reason to delete OP's thread when other people also create thread which contain auto-buy link which sometimes doesn't even offer vouch copies. It's likely your thread was deleted by mistake.

1. The shared root filesystem is read-only.
2. The malware need to escape the Qube/VM first before live on host RAM.
3. Not many people use Qubes OS, but it's actively developed and some high profile people use it.

Rather than security question, i'd just classify it as small security concern.

Most likely it was be deleted by a Global Moderator, lets wait for their response, but most likely it will be because of the link you included. Someone may have reported it as Malware.

In general, what information does a 47.00 KB pdf provide that is worth paying ~13.22 US$? If the file represents pure text and assuming that each page will be 10 KB, then this is less than 5 pages and with images, it may be a page or two.

After rechecking digital section, i agree with @NotATether there's no reason to delete OP's thread when other people also create thread which contain auto-buy link which sometimes doesn't even offer vouch copies. It's likely your thread was deleted by mistake.
If this auto-buy is in self-moderated topics and there are many suspicious replies, then personally I give some of them negative trust according to the topic, but yes, they are not deleted.

Can you elaborate more of your content of the topic? Or can you post the content in "off topic" section and add link to it? I'm sure someone must have reported your post or you posted something which was irrelevant to the section. Or else why would anyone delete it? Moderator's won't delete your post unless it off topic or useless or spam. If you shared the content, it would have been easy to figure out if the moderators deleted the thread by mistake or not.

I don't know about other member, but if i want better security i'd use either airgapped device or Qubes OS rather than buying guide.
For me airgapped device is more then enough. Short & simple concept; nothing goes out. BTW can you share some reference links for Qubes OS? I have never used it nor I know the official link of it. I like to test out new OS. Wink

I do not agree that the malware need to escape the Qube/VM first before live on host RAM - there is not need to escape, malware can go directly to RAM, and then to other qubes

Malware can't just access RAM which isn't assigned for the Qube/VM. That's why escape is needed in first place.

Best reference link would be their own website[1] (). It has extensive official documentation and forum which has many community guide including using Electrum wallet more securely[2]. ANd since you plan to test it, take note the system requirement is rather high[3] and it's not really user or beginner friendly.

Wink

Best reference link would be their own website[1] (). It has extensive official documentation and forum which has many community guide including using Electrum wallet more securely[2]. ANd since you plan to test it, take note the system requirement is rather high[3] and it's not really user or beginner friendly.

Thank you for the links ETF. I have checked all the links you provided and luckily I have the minimum required system rerquiremnts. I understood it's a bit of complicated process but I'm sure if I try a little, I'll get it installed, as I have experience in testing out other OS (Basically different linux distros). BTW do you know what is qubes OS is based on? I haven't checked every line of the documentation. It's filled with links and sections. One thing, I didn't quite understand is that there was a term where it said operating system freedom,  means I can use linux distros along with windows program. In day to day linux, there are many alternative windows applications, like office. I wonder, what did they meant! Did they somehow integrated windows apps in their OS, or is it just an alternative.

Qubes OS is based on Fedora Linux. If you need also Windows OS, then you need to make multiboot OS. Qubes use GRUB Linux boatloader, not Windows. Multibooting Qubes here - https://github.com/Qubes-Community/Contents/blob/master/docs/configuration/multiboot.md.
