I guess i will be gambling. I am quite old already so i don't know why would i stop now. My father stopped gambling after he knew he had only few weeks life left.

Gambling isn't something that should be done by aged people as the effects might be too risky for their health.
Older people are always advised not get involved in things that'll stress them mentally because of their age and gambling is one of the things that can seriously l stress somebody mentally and that's why I don't think it's wise to play gamble at old age.

I disagree with this. I am not playing because i get stress from it. I have a budget and i keep it fun.
And if i would avoid excitement just because i would have few more years, would i really be really living?

If i want a quiet life when i am old, than it's ok for me not to get excited for anything too radical, but that's only if it's my choice. I don't want to be so old that requires me not to get excited about surprises that my life gives to me. Those includes winnings.

That's probably the thing for most people. If someone gambles for fun, they should have no problems continuing their gambling even at an older age as long as they get to access a casino platform without facing any difficulties and if they have enough money to spend on their gambling activities at that age if someone has all those facilities, they would probably love to continue their gambling activities since they have always enjoyed the thrill of gambling.

Gambling, to me is even below fun as I don't indulge much, before I logged in two weeks ago, its been more than a year or two since I went there.

When am old enough I don't think gambling should be more of concerned to me than playing games, all i needed is to have a companion that could always get me busy when am left being alone, the children and grandchildren can come around and we can all have fun playing together.

Why would you select age 60?  I'm just curious.  I would say that if you aren't sure if you'll have the funds available at age 60, then maybe gambling right now is not quite such a good idea.  60 isn't really all that old either.  I understand peoples cognitive decline starts to kick in around that age, but most people in their 60's are just as sharp as they were in their 50's or perhaps even 40's.

I am not that old but I want to believe that there are different types of gambling across all age groups and economic status. Any one who is poor and old may be gambling to get extra source of income. While anyone who is rich and gambling may do it because they are bored and need company. As I said in the previous post, if we cannot be sure what we will do in the future. in this context, gambling until old age. even though in reality, I am no longer young. however, because we are not yet 60+ and over. So, I can't be sure whether in old age we will still like gambling. or, prefer to have fun with children and grandchildren.

Agree. Whether we like it or not, gambling is like a habit. If gambling becomes our habit, it will last a long time. We may keep the gambling habit until the old age. Moreover, when someone gambles daily, it can't be separated from his life. So, I'm not surprised if there are many people to be addicts.
