This 16 years Nigerian citizen used his school fees to play bet and was planning to win big amount so he can use it to solve other problems but along the line he loss everything and he went to the contact of the company and begged them to refund the money back to him because it is his school fees.

We don't know if the player is truly 16 years old. Anyone could claim he's 16 and can easily falsify his information online. Also, the gambling platform explicitly states in its terms and conditions that players must be 18 and above, and there's no way they would have known that he's underage. Being under age does not qualify him for a refund or any kind of pity, if he had won the bet, would he had returned the money that he was underage? Hell no! His school fees is gone and what happened should serve as a life lesson.

And it seems like there is no chance for the child to get back the money he used for gambling. After all, he had lost his gambling and wanted to return his money. The child really has to realize his mistake and take responsibility for himself and hopefully, he can use it as a lesson so he doesn't repeat it in the future. One of the reasons on why i dont really buy up the drama or whatever things that i do saw online on which it would really be just particularly be that trying out to make something been hyped.

For a company that have long standing operational success and reputations,  they won't care about whatsoever social media pressure or campaign that the boy will pull that will get they attention since of obvious that the boy played and lost the bet so I don't see any reason why the casino should refund or even listen to the boy in any ways,  because the boy have violated the casino rules by all means since he know that the age limit on gambling before going ahead to gamble and lost.

So he should be able to handle whatever outcome the result of his action become and leave the casino out of it and I am also sure that from his complain the casino is going to discover his real age and ultimately block or can the account access.

Before any company is been established they set their rules and regulations that will be guiding them and serve has security for them in time of issues like this. I think that's impossible. Gambling should be a game that has been agreed upon. if you lose in gambling it will not be your money back. The problem is how can a 16 year old child be allowed to gamble? At that age, he shouldn't be able to gamble. doesn't this seem illegal? If public sympathy would carry the boy far I don't know but people could be looking at the plea for his school fees and I won't be surprised if someone comes out to pay for the school fees but definitely not the gambling company because if he had won, they would pay him and nobody would say he is underaged so don't pay him.

Government also has a role to play on game house falling ignorant or mistaken to allow underage to gamble with them. Hence, they should be seriously penalized and made to pay heavy fine and by that they would be serious to scrutinize the age of suspected underage.gambler.

Although, such scrutiny would be difficult online but if an underage beat such underage limitations and gamble then it is at the peril of the underage but if it is offline then a proper scrutiny should be done and where in doubt , the age or birth certificate should be produced so as to be show the gambling house projects itself.
