Quite a strange tactics trying to knockout Usyk. I dont remember anyone ever been close to that. Only that low blow from Dubois showed that Usyk is still a human and something might go not as planned. I think only Beterbiev during their amateur career managed to force ref to start counting for Usyk. And even then it wasnt a clear punch, but looked more like a punch to the back.

I think Fury might go with it, looking for a knockout, but it should be a perfect hit before Usyk can go down from that punch. As you have said, Usyk chin is not yet broken, but we all know that everyone is vulnerable, that one shot that you didn't expect, and that might clip you for good.

However, he shouldn't force himself to look for the knockout, if it presents itself then good, if not try to out box Usyk and uses his physical attributes. The adjustment here is really on Fury and I think he can make the some corrections to force a trilogy.

Timing is very important and Fury is good with timing. He is not known to be a KO artist but rather a technical fight, so he should use that on their rematch as  he really need to win via points.  Usyk is short, therefore Fury should take advantage on that, I think he almost win during their first fight but he was careless in some rounds, just like when Fury fought Ngannou, he was careless in some rounds, good thing he still won via split decision. I think in this rematch, Fury would be smarter, he'll be clever and will try to even the score after this fight so they can bring a trilogy.

When you look at that punch from various angles and contemplate it could have changed the course of heavyweight boxing history, does it really look as though Usyk should have gone down on the canvas in agony to the point his right arm was shaking uncontrollably? Clearly he was caught out by the punch but was any part of considered below the belt? I think the fair outcome should have been a rematch regardless of who won the fight in the end but Usyk recovered to win the fight and the rest is history.

Are these pictures from similar minutes and seconds during the fight? If they are from the same time, I reckon picture on the bottom shows that it is on the beltline because it is the best angle from where everyone can see that the boxing gloves of Daniel Dubios has touched the midsection of Usyk.

Similar to what I have mentioned before, this appears to have given Usyk a big profusion of low bowel movement. It would be headshaking if there was something brown that appeared on the back of his shortpants hehehe.

Dubois will probably get the rematch if he wins against AJ but I don't think he will so it'll likely be the Usyk/AJ trilogy. Then again, I didn't think Dubois would beat Hrgovic either but he did. As for the low blow, if we go by the rules that the ref said before the fight the beltline is a low blow. You can be a bit deceptive with the pictures as well depending on when and where you capture them. Dubois' punch came from below and was rising up so probably caught him in the bladder or near enough and most pictures are taken at the end of the trajectory of the punch. Low blows can also lift the crotch cup up which can add further injury and may be what actually caused Usyk so much pain and discomfort as Usyk's reaction was more like he'd been hit in the balls.

It is supposed to be the same punch at the same time from different television camera angles without any time between them.

Low blows can also lift the crotch cup up which can add further injury and may be what actually caused Usyk so much pain and discomfort as Usyk's reaction was more like he'd been hit in the balls.
If you watch the fight again you will see there are a substantial number of punches that Dubois threw in the same area on the belt after that punch yet Usyk did not fall to the floor in agony nor complain about it being a low blow.

It is possible Dubois caught Usyk with a fair punch that he did not expect therefore he went down in agony, I am not going to dismiss that possibility. Usyk said it was low, the referee said it was and that is what matters. I think Dubois deserves another opportunity in the ring with Usyk but for that to happen he must defeat Joshua in September and then Usyk must defeat Fury. The results of both fights are going to be very close to call (though for many Usyk and Joshua will win their respective bouts).

It's 50/50 for me but only Usyk will know the ultimate truth and everything else is speculation and wishful thinking. I've never seen anyone go down like that from a body shot and the way Usyk reacted it was more like he'd been hit in the bladder or balls to be honest. People don't tend to shake from a body shot either but they can with a brutal hit in the groin. During the fight I did think it was a genuine body shot, but on replays it's 50/50 and ultimately depends on the ref's instructions. Either way and at the end of the day, Dubois failed to capitalise on it and should have gone in for the kill but let Usyk recover and regain ground and ultimately beat him. I do think Dubois should get another shot at some point especially if he beats AJ but I would expect the same result.

If they faced each other in a scenario that saw Dubois beat Joshua and Usyk beat Fury, my opinion on their unification fight would be based on their manner of their respective wins. Other than that, I absolutely agree, on current form without a doubt if Dubois and Usyk faced each other today I think Usyk would win (probably by virtue of the judges scorecards).

As for that punch, it really was difficult to understand how Usyk reacted to it. He was definitely hurt but as you rightly pointed out, Dubois did not manage to finish off Usyk and instead it was Usyk that showed his true talent and calibre to turn the tables and win the fight.

Both Usyk and Fury will be watching the Joshua vs Dubois fight either at ringside or on television as one of them will be facing the winner next year. I wonder what they will be thinking when the fight ends and the winner in known.
