It is better such couples not to take part in such prank because of the the later effect of it. me personally have never believed that those pranks are real because I see a lot of acting in the Entertaiment industry. Thie things are often scripted and made to look real. That serves him right because that prant was joke taken too far. How can you smash someone's phone because you want to give him a bigger phone. He could loose sensitive data that is worth more than the iPhone 14. Most times, the information we have in our phones is more valuable than the phone and it will be painful loosing such information to mere iPhone 14 under prank.

Seems your not getting the point. Apart from being a soldier it is an expensive joke to take someones phone and just smashed the phone on the ground. If you watched the video again. That soldier man might be having an important conversation with his loved one that has to do with health issues or something very important and from no where someone broke the phone. I have even stopped watching some of these prank video online, because I see no reason why a fellow human being would take a joke so far that it can even give someone an instant increase in high blood pressure which could lead to death, I remember one prank video I watched, it was created by untouchable comedies whereby he scammed a nollywood  actress Destiny Etikok by displacing a dead corpse in her car boot, and someone was pressuring her to report to the police, if you saw her reaction you would observe that they went too far, after that prank she refused to talk to dem as she was angry and never liked prank in the first place, they still went further to prank her by buying a car to make up for the emotional damage they caused, at the end it was all prank. Indeed some prank has lead to the destruction of relationship between couples, fiancee etc.
I don't support risky pranks, so I don't find them entertaining, before a person could recover from such an emotional prank it could take up to a month, and after that I don't think our relationship would be effective any longer because you broke my trust, how am I not sure such person would do a lot more worse than this. Funny enough I've observed that the rate of these prank contents has drastically reduced due to the side effects and the level of trouble these content creators/pranksters land themselves in.

I witnessed a near death experience of one of these content creators who snatched a lady's purse and attempted to run away, before he could take 5 steps, the angry mob was already all over him, that was the very first day I witnessed real life jungle justice, they so messed this guy up, before his videographer could get through the angry mob, the young man had already been beaten to stupor lol... We could barely hear the young man's faint voice screaming,  na prank o, na prank o, na prank o...

In every content creation, there is limits to the kind of contents that a creator should practice. Anything that has to do with infringing on people's rights as well as traumatizing people should not be considered as content creation. Some content creators go as far as instigating fights amongst people in the name of creating content or causing violence in the name of creating content. For example, we've got content creators that would prank bikemen and taxi drivers amongst others while those people are running their day-to-day business trying to fend for themselves and make an ends meet. While driving those vehicles, a prankster can just infringe on them and spoil their day with some nonsensical Pranks.

This is where government should also come in to continue to, through the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, role out guidelines to enlighten people on the level to which content creation should be practiced and the type of contents that are allowed within those spaces, especially as far as pranks are concerned.

Before, we used to have comedians who do pranks, but those pranks are considered harmless to those that are used for it. I watched a video of some people trying to prank someone where one of them disguises as a dead person in a coffin and when someone tries to open it he suddenly wakes up and try to grab the person, it was after every thing that they later told him it was a prank and the acting dead body removes his costume. i think they went too far on that also as some people might feel shock and may fall down and die from the shock of seeing a dead body moving. It is really terrible how some content creators go extra miles just to get views, some use their old grandparents displaying some horrific act just to get people interest, I clear remember one video I came across, it was about a very wealthy guy who left he's parents to suffer in the village while he was enjoying in the city, so when the mother eventually decides to go look for her son she discovered that the son has a mansion in the city do you know when the guy saw he's mother he pushed her mother out of the house and made the mother site on the floor and eat like an animal, an old woman all in the name of content making.
