Then you go still settle me with some amount of money for using me to cast your pranks. Oboy if all these things are meant then you can come and use me to cast your pranks everytime. Because na him don turn to part of the life hustle. Really I have not seen that in any of them.

The extend at which those content creators are going just attract people is very far, yesterday I saw one video uploaded online a guy went to prank a military man in uniform by smashing his phone while he was still on serious call, you need to see how the military man retaliated, he beat the content creator and even when other military guys that knows the content creator came to save him from the beating there colleague is giving him but the military man refuses and keep hitting the guy. So people should be very careful with the kind of prank you give somebody because in as much as is bringing them money is also coursing some havoc on others.
That's what fits him so that in his next life he won't try to mess up with people's things just for content creation.

Come to think of am, how on earth would someone go overboard in destroying someone else phone wey be army, and fear no catch the peso to take such a stupid step in destroying peoples phone wey them no buy for the peso.

In this life, There are things wey peso no need to do to their fellow being and expect to go scout free just like that, because of sae they get new phone to give out as a dash. Meaning wetin? Sae dem don arrived or wetin?

I believe after this drilling by the army officer, the content creator plus other content creator go see this and learn a lesson from this, sae "no be everyone go like to be prank in a way dem no go fancy am"

Nigeria take every little thing as an avenue to make money, prank in Nigeria don be come wetin every body wan do, our young ones on the internet are all prank star.
The funniest thing is that they don't consider the health condition of someone before pranking them, in Nigeria today not everyone you see on the street are medically fit, some are high blood pressure patient, some are diabetes patients, why some are high blood pressure patient + diabetes patients, those that on this category are no go area in pranking business, if try to prank any of them you may end of someone father life.
Pranks has sent some many people to their early graves.

This matter if prank is getting at of hand hard it been our government is doing what is right by bringing good policy most of this would have stopped, I created a post about the highest prank on the month of April this was as a result of what a friend did to me that nearly gave me high blood pressure the the tenament apartment I am staying catch fire as a result of my air conditioner as NEPA brought light that a spike erupt from there if a Truth I did not switch of the item I was shock this is what I even take excuse in my work place rushing home as I have no body to contact at that point but all this was prank.

This could be personal prank but in a nutshell our government need do something before this get out of hand what we are seeing now may be a start it will getting a point where it will be uncontrollable let their be a privacy laws to the citizens because I don't think there people infringe other people privacy with any sanction this apply even to the way our arms force hand people privacy the government need bring the law that can restrict many of this attitude towards others.most on the social media.

Like I'll always say I love the fact that most Nigerian youths are in content creating to earn a living from their viewers and subscribers rather than indulging in one criminal/illegal means of making money. Now Nigeria street pranks has grown so widely by content creators. There is this Nigerian content creator that pranks celebrities popular known as @Untouchable_comedy,I was home feeling relaxed, watching videos on Facebook and I came across this expensive prank. And after watching that prank I was like Jezzzz how would @Destiny Etiko feel after that scenario.I'm not a huge fan of prank kind of stuff because victims feel depressed after been pranked. The effects of prank are enormous like mentally disorder, anxiety, trauma, fear etc.And the annoying thing is these content creators don't even care how fit the person is medically before pranking them all because they want to please their fans.

For we country, normally prank is supposed to be something of fun but people Don turn ahm into something wey fit make somebody to into serious trauma.  The kind of prank thus days on our street no good at all for the health especially for our  elderly mother and our father. This our contents creators they need to reduce the how expensive thus prank be because e fit cause serious problems to person wey dey fo through a lot for life. Some of this expensive prank fit lead to dead because fear dey kill human being,  they just need to take it easy before it gets them into problems that they will regret it.
Omo the them dy do am it’s very scary and bad.not considering someone mental health and society we are in. This can cause trauma to people which can even lead to suicidal thoughts and depression which is bad and all this content need to be addressed and given code of conduct and ethics on how this done.because not all this content creators have sense and even staging a lot of this stuff and not considering how our society is and which others will like to do it for real to others without considering some content creators stage of this content.

I have seen such pranks of persons having their phones smashes just to be handed a new one, probably an iphone and the victim just become flustered with emotions that they forgot to recover the old smashed one.

I have often thought that these pranks go too far many times and although I have not been pranked, I don't wish to go through the emotional confusion I may experience at the time of being pranked because just like you said, e no go too funny for the person wey start the prank o. I know just wan know weda na prank or not, e go collect slap first and small uppercut just to calm down and re-explain why e be me e come prank.

While we watch these videos and enjoy the entertainment part of it, some of the people pranked are left emotionally drained, some relationship/ couples trust has broken because they were pranked to check there faithfulness to each other

In every content creation, there is limits to the kind of contents that a creator should practice. Anything that has to do with infringing on people's rights as well as traumatizing people should not be considered as content creation. Some content creators go as far as instigating fights amongst people in the name of creating content or causing violence in the name of creating content. For example, we've got content creators that would prank bikemen and taxi drivers amongst others while those people are running their day-to-day business trying to fend for themselves and make an ends meet. While driving those vehicles, a prankster can just infringe on them and spoil their day with some nonsensical Pranks.

This is where government should also come in to continue to, through the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, role out guidelines to enlighten people on the level to which content creation should be practiced and the type of contents that are allowed within those spaces, especially as far as pranks are concerned.

Entertainment is not bad, as a matter of fact I enjoy watching them alot but when you ridicule or take advantage of the ignorance of others just to create your content, it becomes a problem.

Before, we used to have comedians who do pranks, but those pranks are considered harmless to those that are used for it. Sometimes it could be staged so that the person who is meant to be pranked would have an idea of what they intend to do, that it doesn't end up causing psychological trauma to them.

But these guys go out there to the street without consent, without permission, to prank people, committing dangerous scenarios. I think advices are meant to be given to them and the government really needs to play their role, not arresting them, but giving them guidelines to the limits they have in pranking others. You can't derive joy, happiness, money and content by traumatizing somebody else.

Some of this content they creat are risky. Just imagine this one you are talking about. I can't blame the military man for beating him up. Did he knows who he was speaking with. Imagine he was on call with his boss. How will the military man explain this to his boss when he get to barrack. In anything we do, we should learn to do it with sense so that our act of senseless won't push us I to trouble.

Smashing of phones self na less, nothing those people no fit do again. Although the reason why I no dey too put eye for most of those things na because most of them dey scripted and staged. Them go plan am finish, practice everything word to word before them come outside come capture am on camera.

So the aspect of smashing of phones, maybe the phone self fit no dey good again, them fit carry phone wey don spoil then smash am to make am look like say the phone dey okay or even if the phone dey okay, them fit don back up all the phone's data before them begin act.

I dey always hear this tok "don't take things too seriously, you only live once" but that no mean say because I wan dey carefree, you go use that excuse prank me o. I recently watched a video where dey prank popular skit maker "funny one" wia dem say e carry drugs enter the contri e sopoz go perform and the tin serious to the point say ekelebe wan even arrest the guy before them tell am say nah prank.
In such a case , nah how the guy wan cope because I know say the allegation say you carry drugs enter any country nah big one but some content creators no wan hear that one, all them dey bothered about nah how to blow or make moni.
Shebi if Govt put law against am, them go say nah bad belle?
My brother, nah confam observation you bring up and I wonder wetin go fit stop such costly jokes.
That’s some serious stuff there, to them they might see it as a joke but they don’t know the health conditions some people might be so playing some pranks on them might be bad for their health. Some pranks are just too much but people don’t mind the effects it may carry all they are after is just clicks and number of engagements on their posts.

I watched a video of some people trying to prank someone where one of them disguises as a dead person in a coffin and when someone tries to open it he suddenly wakes up and try to grab the person, it was after every thing that they later told him it was a prank and the acting dead body removes his costume. i think they went too far on that also as some people might feel shock and may fall down and die from the shock of seeing a dead body moving. Such silly pranks should not be encouraged at all because i feel they are deviating from making comedy.

As content creation gains popularity and people start making it big from YouTube/ Facebook monetization, content creators are becoming increasingly desperate and are willing to do any content to gain followers.

Pranking people on the street has become a common order with no consideration of the victim's emotional/psychological state of mind.

While we watch these videos and enjoy the entertainment part of it, some of the people pranked are left emotionally drained, some relationship/ couples trust has broken because they were pranked to check there faithfulness to each other and some people have lost so much useful information from there phone because a popular prankster smatched it on the ground and gives the victim a new one, not considering some important information in the phone that might be lost in the process.

Of course, some of these guys have landed themselves in trouble because they pranked the wrong person but others are yet to learn there lessons.

Entertainment is not bad, as a matter of fact I enjoy watching them alot but when you ridicule or take advantage of the ignorance of others just to create your content, it becomes a problem.

Omo Nigeria content creator dey over do although e dey funny o and crazy but sometimes dem dey over do and dem dey cause some people high BP instead to reduce am even when dem dey make some people happy, some no dey happy too, but dey supposed understand say street pranks no be for everyone, because e get some people wey dey just waka for street dem no dey alive, dey just dey find wetin go kill dem, because of the stress and pressure wey person dey pass through for this country no be for another person go just come dey prank person unknown because dem fit die in the process or enter sick wey dem no fit survive am so I go like to advice say mk dey reduce the way dem dey do the street pranks mk e no go land dem for problem.

Pranking individuals may result to two things, conflict or fun. One will not know how the third party feels about something at a particular time not read a mind of someone.  Before engaging in such biko try to read someone properly because them fit remove person teeth.

It is really terrible how some content creators go extra miles just to get views, some use their old grandparents displaying some horrific act just to get people interest, I clear remember one video I came across, it was about a very wealthy guy who left he's parents to suffer in the village while he was enjoying in the city, so when the mother eventually decides to go look for her son she discovered that the son has a mansion in the city do you know when the guy saw he's mother he pushed her mother out of the house and made the mother site on the floor and eat like an animal, an old woman all in the name of content making.

I really detest playing practical jokes. It's not that I'm a nasty person; rather, it's for my own protection. I once witnessed a practical joke in which the participants had to squirt a female with water during an interview in order to gauge her response. In summary, playing a practical joke on someone might often depend on their mood; if the target is unhappy, for example, the prank star may find themselves in trouble. How would you characterize that type of prank and what would be your response?

Nigeria street pranks is becoming something else. And is high time we stop street pranks in Nigeria. So many relationship have distroyed all in the name of knowing if your man or woman love you or trust you. So many marriage have collapsed because of street pranks. So many who are genuinely in love lost their love ones to another all in the name of pranking. There are other ways of a man or woman getting to know his or her partner. It most not be base on street pranking. To me it's very annoying and I don't advice any young man or lady to do that because at the end of it all you will get yourself hurts and your relationship probably distroyed. If at all you have an issues in your relationship and you can't fixed it then you go for counciling. Please we need to stop this thing called street pranks in Nigeria.
