Yes you are right that mate in the world of gambling  sometimes our money will gone and also sometimes our money got doubled or even trippled but in my own opinion in reality once I loss for the first time then still it's okay and bet again but second time loss feels bad and when third loss feels crazy that will lead to quit cause once we will loss and loss in every bet then let's take a rest and then comeback again once we have enough money to gamble.

I don't know about that belief but I don't think there's a lot of people that will just jump the shark just because they've lost a large amount of money in gambling in such a short amount of time. With the second statement, it's another situational thing, results vary per individual although the difference is easily distinguishable, some will quit after a break even, some will continue as you've stated but not everyone will be doing the same thing.

Yes, they can only regret because they have lost a very large amount of money and cannot recover the lost money even if they try to gamble again with another amount of money. But they don't realize it and continue gambling, hoping to recover their losses one day. But that only increases the number of losses even greater than before because gambling is not a place to make money.
