I'm wondering what did HAMAS expected when they started attack against Israel and when they fully depends on supply of food, water, electricity, fuel and etc from Israel. That Israel won't do anything and won't make harsh response? It's nothing surprising that we already hear some talks from them about possible ceasefire.
Worst part of this war that thousands of people in Gaza is affected and they have nowhere to go. Now they only can wait and try to survive another Israel rocket attack.

In situations like this I just feel sorry for the civilian. Countless lives will be lost due to the actions of a few people. It's so sad.
Aren't there better ways to resolve a conflict? Why do men always think of the annihilation first? War doesn't solve much, it just create a fluke peace hanging by a thin thread. It just leaves people broken and easily manipulated to pick up arms and retaliate.

There may most likely the piper masters somewhere running the show and motivating Hamas to attack, now they have to deal with the consequences. The same people are pressuring Israel to retaliate and hit them hard.
On Fox news today a man made a statement "Do whatever is necessary... level the place". How can we use words like this? There are actual human beings in those places. Do they not see them as humans or what?

Hamas attacking Israel they heavily depend on, and there will be consequences for such actions. However, this extreme approach isn't the right way to resolve conflicts. Negotiations should be initiated promptly. Often, decisions by politicians and other leaders lead to suffering for innocent civilians.

Palestinians have unfortunately endured difficult situations before, so we hope they can endure this one too. I strongly believe that every person on this planet deserves the right to freedom.

During the Syrian war, I remember that the United Nations succeeded in providing aid using crypto to Syrian refugees in a shelter camp in Jordan. A similar initiative also included providing aid to displaced Ukrainians directly affected by the Russian bombing. We all remember the donation campaigns that were launched here in the forum to support those affected by the quarantine period during the spread of the Corona virus epidemic in 2020.

There are always ways to provide support, but only when there is a will to do so. Am I the only one who believes that this attack against Israel by Hamas was a utterly stupid military decision by them?
Before this news broke up I thought that Gaza was not dependent of Israel food, water, power and medicine, I thought most of it was funded by the international community and humanitarian groups abroad.

But after realizing all those things (most of them anyways) came from Israel, I have reached the conclusion Hamas does not care about the safety and security of the Palestinian people, they did not think about the consequences of this barbaric aggresion in the long term. They left their bloodthirsty instincts to take over their minds.

I have got the suspicion Israel won't allow Palestinian people to return to Gaza once it has been bombed to the ground and all the terrorist which inhabited there have been killed it forced to leave to Lebanon. They could argue that allowing Palestinian residents to come back there would endanger their security or encourage more terrorist attacks to happen in the future.
Whatever happens, it must be a hell of a situation to be forced to abandon your home and everyone you know to run for your life, because you have been warned your neighborhood is going to be completely erased off existence within 24 hours. The project to settle Palestinians outside their land is not a new proposal. The idea has been on the table since the announcement of the establishment of the State of Israel.
