If thousands of dollars is a significant amount of money in your country, isn't this supposed to be a life changing amount already? i am just curious seeing that you said that you've won thousands of dollars, and still go ahead to say that you don't think you will ever win a life changing amount of money from gambling because you are a responsible gambler.

If you don't mind, then permit me to tell you that you don't have to win a million dollars in gambling before you know that you have won a life changing amount of money, for as little as $2000 dollars is enough to change a person's life, for example, with this money, one can go into a business that could turn out to become a multi hundreds of thousands of dollars, or even millions of dollars' worth business.

Although I think that the form of gambling we choose also has some impact or says something about our attitude towards gambling. I prefer poker because it always give the feeling that my decisions can have an immediate impact on the outcome. This has become necessary for those less fortunate in gambling so that we don't gamble too often and can avoid gambling addiction problems. You get 2300 for betting $3 is a super lucky bet. You get lucky even if you don't often bet so you can really expect it won't happen in every 10 years. If you win again like going to a nearby shop and finding scratch tickets beside the cashier, you try for once and you still win big. My luck in the game is basically defined by my skills and knowledge in football, as I don't place many bets on games that depend solely on luck.
Even so, I can tell you that I never won anything that could make me rich or with the possibility of spending a few years without having to work. However, if I have this opportunity, I certainly wouldn't stop playing because I don't play to make money, but as a form of entertainment.

I don't know if its just me I never experience to win huge on lottery,slots or any games that offers huge jackpot price that's why sometimes I think I'm not lucky on a game of chance since I never encounter any huge win for years of betting. This is the luck aspect of gambling... totally more than her expectations.
