Don't you think it's a benefit that whenever you are back reviewing your spreadsheet with your win or loss data, you will think not twice but more than that before you gamble? Because in my opinion, it's a kind of reminder, not like guilt-tripping or anything, but the reality check on your spending. The real benefit of keeping a record is that you can analyze not only your lose and win record but also your actual financial spending on gambling, and you can verify it with your actual financial savings. And I don't think every gambler should have to keep their record, because if you're not a gambling addict, then you will definitely think before spending.

But it will most of the time mean that the person will see that they are paying way more than what they feel comfortable, and maybe stop gambling, which is an activity they enjoy.

So, many people just don't want to see that reality because they want to gamble again.

Same with alcohol, if you enjoy drinking it, you won't bother paying high prices for it, whereas paying for other things at the same price would be a big no for the same person.

Whether you keep track of your gambling activities or not, it will not decide if you are a good or bad gambler. Each of us has our reasons for deciding whether to keep track of our gambling activities or not. If you continue to gamble despite significant losses and do not modify your behavior, knowing your total loss records is irrelevant. A good gambler, for me, has extra money for gambling only and strictly stays within the allocated budget. Even if you lose on a weekly or daily basis, it will not have a significant impact on your life, relationships, finances, or family.

And it is true that we are the ones who should regulate the amount of money we use for gambling and not follow our desires of wanting to win. Moreover, we already have an experience where if we chase a win, we may experience even greater loss. So it's better for them to just accept whatever the result is and they can go back to gambling again another day.

Regrets do always come at the end on which you would really be only be able to realize when its too late. When you do gamble then you should really be only spending on the amount
on which you can only afford to lose and it would really be just that fine that you wont really be making or putting up some records since those amounts are really that bound for
doing gambling because on the time that you do see that you are spending up tons of money on doing gambling even on a gradual manner then it would really be resulting

Well, it is not a game for some people really. These are the people that seriously want to make a buck at the casino.

I'm saying something, when we see previous record losses, that usually doesn't give much encouragement, let's say, if we start from the point of view that we are in the red or negative numbers, what we do from then on will be a lot of pressure, a lot stress, because we want things to be much more efficient, and the thing is that if we start with the good record and suddenly what we do is pure loss, that is something that can lower our spirits even a lot, so when we are in those cases we can do everything possible to start things well, if we are people who have control then it is something that can be taken as a good thing, because if per day we spend 10usd to spend (for example) and of those 10usd we take it to 12 Well, it's not bad, we are starting well, we can leave it there and use that same balance of 10usd without touching the 2usd profit to subtract from the previous losses, if we continue with a streak of 1 or 3usd per day that Ahaha, that's a great success, at least that's how I see it.

Most online casinos do have a track record of how much you have spent gambling in a particular month or over the week so if you want to at anytime check through the records you could go to history and find a full track record of how much you have spent over a period of time.

Keeping track record of how much you have spent gambling over a period of time will most likely get you to chasing losses, it will be much better if you make a budget monthly or weekly and keep to it, that way without going through the records, you will know how much you have spent so far and you will not be pushed to chasing losses because already you had had in mind to forfeit such amount if it turns out that way and you have lesser chances of chasing losses.
