Not really that bad on making multiple bets as long you do really make use of the amount on which you could really that afford to lose in one go or session.It isnt really that totally different on the time that you do choose up a single game but going on doing all in but its really that true that nothing beats out on betting on a game on which you are really that totally been knowing or does have the knowledge comparing into those moments that you arent even sure on what it is. There a lot of people I know that whenever they place a bet they automatically begin to plan their financially in accordance with the amount of their potential winning even when they're not sure of they were gonna win or not and that I think is absolutely insensitive for anyone to do. Yes, gambling is entertainment, so we don't need to be too serious about gambling. In my opinion, if we are too serious about gambling then we will usually become gambling addicts and it will get worse. As far as that scenario, who wouldn't put high hopes that he could win his parlay? I think the problem with this kind of mindset is we tend to forgot that gambling is not always about winning and earning money, rather before we engage in any gambling activities we should recognize that there would be risk and there is a huge potential that we might lose our money. It's OK to feel bad for a day or two, after you have lost a big amount of money via gambling. The most important thing is to recover mentally and physically from this loss and move on with your life. For now and the current condition in my opinion is not not much, but on the contrary, I see now more and more people who depend on winnings from gambling, especially in my country where they come because they see other people's wins and after that they will continue to pursue victory like other people, there are also those who go to borrow just to gamble and they intend to return the loan as a result of their gambling winnings, I can't think why they have that mindset, because obviously gambling is created for two things, for pleasure and for defeat. This is just ridiculous thought that since the gambler lose the money and the casino onwers wins the money, you change  your role from being a gambler to a casino owner. Casino owner requires a lot of money and a lot of capital and it is not everyone's capability to become an owner of a casino.

- consider gambling the fastest way to make money.
- consider the winning percentage to be the most important thing than the losing percentage.
- using money you can't afford to lose.
- gambling without remembering the time.
- not having good money management in gambling.

now what about your friend's condition! is he still unable to forget the defeat he received previously! is he still not willing to accept that defeat? you must be able to try to persuade him to forget that defeat and look at the future better so that he will be able to win again in the gambling that he will do next.

I don't advice anyone to go for multi bets because is very dangerous, if not because of high expectation how came you bet $1 and expected the winning should be possible, the winning amount is very huge $2500 is small money,

multi bets do have high odds but it is very difficult to win all the matches we choose In fact I often do this and it always fails because 1 match is lost and I say this because I am a little curious whether what OP said is true with $1 bet in sports betting and almost won $2500, if that is true it must be very high odds and it is very rare to be able to win from a budget of $1 to $2500.

Multi bet is the fastest way to win big in gambling and also the fastest way to lose money too but then if you are careful enough with your picks and luck on your side you will definitely win big more often, I prefer muti bet than singles but then you can set a limit to your multi bet , probably you choose not to do more than 7-9 picks at a time on a particular bet slip and you are good.
