I don't see any wrong with mentors, as long as they are teaching you right and if it's free then it's good if not then you must agree with the fees you are paying and that's enough, it depends on what you discussed or agreed.
Just make sure you are talking with a legit trading mentor. And make sure try to apply your lessons with your mentor in real trading environment.

You cant blame out people on having that allergic kind of approach towards mentors yet it is true that everything could really be learned or could really be searched online on which there's no need for some mentor
or gurus that would really be teaching you up into those skills that you do want to learn but its true that if you want to fasten things up a bit then its not bad to consider on getting one but of course there's always a fee or subscription that you would be needing to pay but i dont really see the difference between those paid and free ones yet approach towards the market will really be always that speculative and  this is why
im not really that saying that it would really be that significant on having a mentor but if you do find out yourself on preferring  this then its your choice.

We do have our own decisions in life and its up to us whether we would really be walking on that path or way or would really be going with our own yet everything could really be self learn but since
you do love on being teach or told then its your choice. Just remember that you should not be paying up that much when it comes on being mentored and if you do see the
price is already that much then better skip out but if its just peanuts then it is considerable.

I have a fair knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I can hold down a good conversation in it however when it comes to trading, I have come to the point where I need to up my game. After using a mock trading app for some time, I stopped and tried the live environment. I lost money. Since then I have done some trading again. I feel I need to get back in the game. Right now I am coming in with a different strategy which is a mentor. Yes, I need a mentor in this renewed trading journey who would teach me the practical aspect of it. Because any of us can easily quote the theoretical knowledge of trading.
What is the best reward for mentorship? How do you think I should reward the mentor when I have one? And how often should this be?

If you guys can give me some ideas, it will help me to take charge of the conversation when I meet with the potential mentor.

Thanks.

Meeting potential mentors is hard to come across these days because some claim what they're not. Honestly, I understand this feeling. At some point, I started using copy trading to fill up the space of my earning while I learn. You could find a mentor but I scaled through learning from those who are better than I'm, and joined a small group of good traders as well. I wish you luck in finding a mentor

Always anticipates in legit projects, because the high number of scams in this present day is obviously not what we need to stand, rather there are other ways we could be able to sort ourselves out. I wouldn't advise anyone to pay for online mentorship but rather stick to the basis of trading and besides, anything we're keen on learning is online. That's were I acknowledged most of my tradung strategies and disciplinary principles to apply. Trading mentors is rare these days due to the increased in numbers of crypto influencers who are just in the space to generate monetary value, they're present only to lay hands on all the possible money equivalent to their strength, having no interest in ensuring their mentees have the best knowledge of the market.

You mixed things up. You are asking as if you are the mentor that what to have an idea on how to bill your subjects. But in this context, you are the supposed learner. It is the mentor that will choose how he will be remunerated and not the other way round. So, meet your mentor first and he will say how you will pay. If by chance he demands nothing from you, it is when you can ask us these questions.

If you are looking for a mentor, you may look for like three good traders that can mentor you.
Mate, are you are this is not a bad idea. Having more than 1 mentor will be demanding and distracting. 3 good traders have different strategies and one person learn from 3 different experts as mentors will be distracting. At a point you may not know whose strategy to apply and whose to ignore.

I will advise he have one mentor and use the forum advice to augment, things will be fine.

No you do not understand me. Let me quote myself:

If you are looking for a mentor, you may look for like three good traders that can mentor you....You can then price it to see what would happen. Go for only one mentor with a better price.

You should be able to understand now.

All I meant is if he wants to go for mentoring, he can go if he wishes for it, but he should not just go directly to one mentor but to like three mentors and go for the one with the low services fee, but still the among the ones he know to be the best. He can know how good they are from their trading history page which they will show him.

Right. Personally, I would prefer having a mentor. That is what I’ll be doing. But I understand why many traders dont want this kind of setup. They might believe in a trial and error approach because they think that they can learn best from their own mistakes. Others may be hesitant because of the cost associated with mentorship or a lack of trust in the mentor's abilities haha I mean, I its valid when you doubt others right? Also I think most traders want the thrill of figuring things out independently right from the beginning of their journey.
But for me, having a mentor provides personalized guidance who helps you avoid common pitfalls and fast tracks your learning curve. They share real life experiences because they can teach you strategies that books and youtube videos often can't capture and they can also be a support system who can help you navigate the emotional rollercoaster of trading. Its like learning someone whos already been there. To be honest, this forum also works that way, I mean as a mentor haha you just have to filter which one you will absorb

After using a mock trading app for some time, I stopped and tried the live environment. I lost money. Since then I have done some trading again
In trading their is some certain things in which involves in a trade, because I know quite well that trading is something I know that it has to with skill and when you don't have the skill you won't be able to make a profit in it, so it's the one of the reasons while people ensure that have understand the concepts of trading before venturing into it, sometimes some people do lose in trading because they don't comprehend the rudiments of it..its very obvious that when you know the foundation of trading you will not be able to be getting lost at all time.

I feel I need to get back in the game. Right now I am coming in with a different strategy which is a mentor. Yes, I need a mentor in this renewed trading journey who would teach me the practical aspect of it. Because any of us can easily quote the theoretical knowledge of trading.

In some areas they have a school of trading in which your teacher is your mentor in the class, because I my location we have were you can learn trading and each student have two teachers that will inculcate the knowledge of trading to any student, but you will not really depend on the teachers because they multiple students to teach.

So the best strategies to use in learning of trading after you have a teacher that passed the primary information of trading is to add up information through a youtube tutorial video, so I think that the information of youtube will help you to accumulate the studies and memorise the keys of trading..when you don't know the keys of trading you will end up losing.

I would say classes would be a good place to start, I do not have anything like that near me, I do not think that there are trading schools where I live as a whole nation, but if there were any places like that I am sure that it will be filled and everyone would be trying to get a place there.

Unfortunately we do not have even a simple crypto class where I am, it would be smart to have one, because people would want to learn more about it and the class would be filled and if you make it really cheap, like 100 dollars for a whole semester, then you can fill the quota very easily and yet schools do not do it for some reason. All in all I believe a fixed rate would be more than enough for any mentor, that should be the limit.

What is the best reward for mentorship? How do you think I should reward the mentor when I have one? And how often should this be?

Mentors can help you start trading, they will provide basic knowledge of trading that you can do. and the next task I think you have to develop your trading skills yourself.

If you want to find a mentor in trading, I hope it's someone you know. It will be more fun if you learn from friends or people you know. I also learned the beginnings of trading from a mentor who was my own friend. but I developed it from the community in the telegram group. Be careful, by choosing a telegram group that only shares signals, not education to grow our trading skills.

I don't know the exact price that must be paid for knowledge and skills. they take their time which we should appreciate too.

That is what a mentor is. Just treat it like your grade school teacher, so don't blame your mentor if something you do later on will disappoint you or fail you.

That is where the value of a mentor shines through, the majority of those that want to learn how to trade are like chickens running around without a fixed direction, and that is why it takes them so long to actually get anywhere, a mentor can guide their student to avoid most of those mistakes and help them move in the right direction, so if learning how to trade could have taken you years, your mentor can reduce that amount of time to a single year.

Even lets say that these things would really be mold up on a 3rd world or developing country then asking for $100 for whole semester then it would really be unlikely but rather things turns out to be that expensive
knowing that sharing or teaching up such thing like this would really be time consuming and learning up the skill isnt something that could really be handled by anyone who would really be tending to enroll on which it is really just that a common scenario that could happen. Also, when it comes to learning then we cant really be able to deny that there are really indeed things that we could be able to get it for free on which everything
on this world could already be searched up, on which means that there's no need for some sort of schooling or having those paid mentors if you could really just actually make on your own.

Im not saying its completely garbage but its really that pointless on having one because you could really be learning things on your own without depending with these gurus or professionals.
You could really be able to make yourself that better with your own ways and with your own effort and time that had been applied.
There's no way that  you cant really be able to access yourself with those common trading strategies and other stuffs online. It is really just that a matter of
effort on searching up things.

That is what a mentor is. Just treat it like your grade school teacher, so don't blame your mentor if something you do later on will disappoint you or fail you.
The mentor will just guide you, so most of actions must come from you, you need to work for it.
That is where the value of a mentor shines through, the majority of those that want to learn how to trade are like chickens running around without a fixed direction, and that is why it takes them so long to actually get anywhere, a mentor can guide their student to avoid most of those mistakes and help them move in the right direction, so if learning how to trade could have taken you years, your mentor can reduce that amount of time to a single year.
a mentor who can guide you well and patiently during your education in trading is much more valuable than gold, he makes you shorten the time of learning to trade appropriately so giving him a gift must not be done carelessly, you must know what is really important to him.  but usually men really like watches, or shoes, you might be able to look for an expensive watch or nice shoes that suit him, don't be stingy with people who have made a big contribution to you.

Thanks.
If you happen to bump into a high quality mentor, I believe giving him some shares of your profits is not enough. Although everyone is up for profits, but the best thing that you can reward your mentor is your success that you obtained from your trading career. Trading can be for everyone but not everyone is capable to trade and make it work. And if you're lucky enough that you are gifted with the skills in trading, then most likely you don't achieved it just by your own self but you also take credits from your mentor. Because a mentor that is not motivated with greed for profits is most likely the mentor that will help you throughout your trading journey regardless of inevitable losses in the process.

However, the determination and motivation to learn to trade without setting a time limit is also a proof that you can also be successful in trading even without a mentor itself. Because mentors are just like us, they started as a scratch. So if we pursue our passion in trading and continue to build up our skills and strategies in trading, then we can also be mentors in the future just like them.

Many might claim to be mentors yet they lack all it takes to actually mentor someone.  Potential mentors are hard to find. The few we see around only do it for the sake of the rewards they'll get after the mentorship.  Some mentors are trick, they conceal vital information from their mentees.

Getting a mentor is not a guarantee that you will do well in trading. Having a mentor is not bad either. While undergoing the mentorship training,  we also do our research and practice on our own too. The mentor will only teach,  he won't be held accountable for your mistakes later in the future. Ask questions,  check trends and histories. Copy trading will help too. By doing this, you are getting knowledge from different sources which will help you make decisions and trade effectively.

I suggest do not focus first on the rewards you can offer to the mentor. The fact that you pay him decent amount for every trading session, then that's enough for now. Focus on how to build your skills and strategies as a trader. And you can achieve that through frequent market experience as you become highly exposed to what real trading is all about. Do not fear if you commit mistakes and losses from trading, that's a good motivation for you to improve your trades and be the best version of yourself so you can be successful in your trading endeavor.

When you are making big from trading, that's the time that you will find time to reward your mentor more than from what he is expecting. He is also a part of your success that's why he should be given some credits whatever you will achieve as a successful trader.

You should really be making yourself aware that if you are that someone paying up some subscription fees then it would already be that enough. Its up to you whether you would really be adding up some amount for some complimentary then its up to your choice but its not actually that necessary on which you wont really be needing on doing so because you are already giving those kind of benefit. How much more if you are really that under his referral specially on exchange which we know that they could really benefit out in terms of some referal bonus or what their referrals been earning on which it is normal that they would really be earning too.

I dont really like on having a mentor on which considering that everything could really be known and could really be learn up for yourself then i dont see the relevance or the need for this one.
You could really be able to trade on your own but if you want to fasten up a little bit then go ahead and get or follow some mentor but of course there's really that a fee or payment for that.
If you do find out some free then its good but be careful on whom you are following into yet not all mentors that do exist are really that worth for your time and effort.

I think I'm missing something here. As a learner you have no chance to decide on the reward to gift your mentor unless it's a free course, the mentor will decides on what he/she will accept and you may either chose to agree or disagree. But as you requested, I assume it to be a free class and in that regard I will say it depends on individual but regardless, the best reward for mentorship is gratitude and appreciation. Although everyone value gratitude in different ways, to some it maybe material gift or cash while some are satisfied with a mere thank you. So you need to figure out which one the mentor prefer and you can start from there. As for frequency, it will depend on how long you both agreed with each other but it is also good to keep up with the appreciation even after your learning period.

The important thing is to make sure your mentor knows how much you value their help and support.

Give him the profits he deserved. You won't be that capable you envisioned right now without your mentor that has been guiding you all the way. And if asked if how often this should be, as long as you want to share with him your profits. That's how simple it is. And as a suggestion, find a mentor that is already close to your heart so that you can easily trust him and the doubts if he will only scam you will never happen. There's a lot of good mentors around, but only rare of them can be trusted and can entrust yourself as a trader to be the best that you can be.

For now, look on your circle of friends if there are good and reliable traders. Trading will be a lot easier no matter how risky and stressful it is as long as you are with someone that understands your weakness and helps you with your goal to achieve it in its due time.
