Actually your strategy is fine, it is normal that everyone's strategy will be different. Anyway it totally depends on the person what his strategy is. But the main point here is that no one can tell when the bull run will come and when Bitcoin will touch its new all-time high price. But yes it can be guessed by looking at the past history. So in this case, I think it would be a good idea not to sell the entire fund during the bull run.
However, as a long-term bitcoin holder, when you should sell, you should also keep an eye on these aspects or have knowledge about this. Because I think the best strategy is buy in dip and then hold and hold and then sell on bull. If the ultimate goal is to make a profit, isn't it reasonable for someone to sell BTC during a bullish market? Investment is all about how to make money from buying and holding activities. If you keep buying and holding, even when the market is bullish, you'll never reap the rewards of what you've sown. Have you not prepared for your retirement? Or are you investing for future generations, willing to endure hardships for your children who may not necessarily use your assets wisely?

For me, accumulation will continue before selling BTC at a bullish price. We wait for the market to turn bearish again to start accumulating once more. At least there's a cycle for us to enjoy the fruits of our savings, even if it's just a little. I call it self-reward.

How do you figure out the exact ATH? If you sell too early you will regret your decision and there won't be any point in buying back the asset. What I think is that you should make a long term target that you will keep accumulating bitcoin for the next two bear seasons. When the market rally up you won't do anything if it makes a correction you will keep accumulating. After 8 to 10 years you will see that you are a wealthy person.

Everyone has different approaches to this and this depends on the information available to them. I had always said that I will not sell all my bitcoin if the bull run happens but then I am also having double thoughts about this. Maybe if I should remain, it should be about 20% of my portfolio. Why I am no longer a fan of leaving large portion of my bitcoin even after the bull run is that I have discovered that I could still rebuy during the bear market.

For instance, the last bull run took us to a height of about $69k and the bear came to the region of 15k. This means whoever sold at 60 and re-bought at 20 made a good decision. No matter how high the bull run will take us, the bear must surely present us an opportunity to buy again.

I think trying to find the peak is not an easy thing, but also not selling at all is not a smart move neither. I think we should realize that the best thing we could do at this point would be just having a ladder type of selling. That way, if it goes up then you keep it holding but if it goes down then you keep on selling, that way you end up selling it all before it reaches under ATH again. The logic is that if you reach 68k, and then the price goes above 68k for example lets say 100k, then it starts to go down that means you are going to end up with under 90k and sell it, and then sell it like that and all that we should be something that would be smart, and before it reaches 70k, you end up profiting.

Some people do not sell all their coins because of bullrun, it only the freshers in bitcoin can sell all what they generate in bitcoin  base on the profits they make for the investment, but each of the investment have methods
So it's good for you to watch your investment and have a target of when to sell out you bitcoin during a bullrun, so I believe that investors who knows tye conditions of investment doesn't sell out all their coins at giving point in time.

For me personally unless I do need something to buy or want to get profit for now and buy it again when the price dumps if I have the accurate info then I would love to do it. But I guess people mostly will just hold it if it's on bull market and if people sells their stuff then probably they just follow whatever people are currently doing or following the influencers for most of the cases, otherwise they will most likely do what I said earlier.

If selling all of your Bitcoin during the bull run will make you happy and satisfied, no one can take that away from you. But as usual, we still want to hold Bitcoin after that because we know that every cycle, the higher price of Bitcoin comes. And if you decided to sell everything then you have to make sure that you don't regret it or if you do, you'll have to wait for another bear market and then just acquire some of it from that profit you've made. It's also a cycle where many just repeats what they do like buying again when it's cheaper then taking some profits during the bull run, rinse and repeat that's it. Another one is that you can sell in a DCA mode. Just like how we accumulate in DCA, you can sell some portions of it for every price you think is good to sell so you still have some BTC remaining on your portfolio.

I cannot say everyone but obviously, most investors prefer to hold their bitcoins right now since the crypto market is not doing well and the price of bitcoins is not high. That's for you to decide. For me, there's no wrong if you decide to sell all your bitcoin when bull run comes in exchange for significant amount, because you have all the chances to buy back again and maximize your purchase at a very affordable price when the market turns bearish. Remember that there's no such word as hodling forever, because the main purpose why you invest is to reap maximum profits and now that the opportunity to do that is right in front on you, then savor that moment. Don't be scared to sell, as it's the only way that your hardwork and patience from long term hodling will finally get paid off.

On the second thought, if you wish to sell only some portion of your bitcoin and leave some of them for future profits, then that's also a good choice. In theory it looks easy, we only need to hold bitcoin until the price of bitcoin rises and buy again when the price of bitcoin is cheap but in practice it is very difficult. We don't know whether the current price is low or high, we don't know what the lowest and highest bitcoin prices are. So deciding when to buy and when to sell is also difficult. However, many people use the DCA method to buy bitcoin and the DCA method can also be used to sell bitcoin

It's actually an individual preference. Because after all, sometimes everyone has different targets. However, in my personal opinion, I do plan to sell my Bitcoin assets, all during the bullish era. However, this does not rule out the possibility that I will do it in several stages of price increases. so that I won't regret it anymore or miss a moment. In this way, the hope of taking profits can at least be fulfilled.

However, the next highlight or concern is that there is a certain portion or percentage to be prepared for when it is bearish. And buy or accumulate Bitcoin again. You could say it's like planting when it's bearish and harvesting when it's bullish. And of course both have their own risks.
