I gamble on a strict daily limit rule of x amount lost or y amount won. You can swap x and y for your own individual daily gambling limit. It can be 100 dollars or 1 dollar or less. If ever im on the situation on which i have won some significant amount then i would really be securing my capital or simply 50% withdrawal with the amount won then those amounts would be used whether it would be buying up something as a form of reward to myself like buying some gadget if ever the amount won is big so that if ever i do have lost the other 50% then i wont really be having that kind of regret because i have already secured something. I can testify that your friend is beginning to like gambling because of the big little win that he has gotten from it. I do say that it is not an easy task to quit gambling after winning, but it can be easy to quit gambling when losing.

It's the same, it can also hard to quit when you're losing. Like the mindset of many here, they just can't quit because they wanna retrieve those losses.

It is only those who are too addicted to gambling that will continue gambling even when they are losing.

While it can be true that addicted gamblers will retrieve once they've lost a lot. But it happens to many that they just can't quit because of those losses.

I once quit gambling because I didn't win, but when I joined this forum, I started gambling just to try my luck again and now sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose, so when gambling, sometimes we have to quit when we are not winning.

I think that's because of the influence and environment that you are part. So, you went back and gambled again and then enjoyed.

I know some of the reasons why it can be very hard to quit gambling while losing. It might be because the gambler is trying to recover the money that he has lost, but it is not a very good idea to continue gambling while one is losing. It is good to give it a break rather than continue to lose more to it, although it is hard. I am kinda sure that that's the best option at that particular point in time.

I quit gambling when I was losing some months ago, if I can recall, and I am proud to say that it helped me not to lose more at it. However, presently, I am not a regular customer, gambling either online or offline, and sometimes, if I do bet, I don't go back losing everything and sometimes I go back with more to the ones I came with. That is to say the winnings don't come all the time, but if the winning time doesn't come. We gamblers shouldn't force them to come by gambling more.
