I do this time to time. But not frequently. I have been facing this problem to save money. I don't know why but I'm on able to save money when I have decided it multiple times. I have acted on it and did save some and the past. But after sometimes when there's something new on the market that I have wanted for a long time, I will spend that money regardless. I have thought about investment, but as I said I am able to keep money in my hands. So in the end I'm just left with nothing. And I have suffered a lot.
I'm searching for a solution. Sorry to say it here. But I'm looking for solutions to. I am open to any kind of suggestions. Feel free to give me any kind of advice.

It's just life man, life sometimes doesn't let you end up with money at all and you end up with trouble, there isn't much we can do about it and just have to agree that it's not going to happen in any other case, it's just how it works. I believe that we need to realize that we are not going to end up with anything that is decent or anything that is scary, we just have to end up with something that would be as much as we can do so that would live decently.

I personally prefer that we could end up with a situation that would be as decent as it gets and that's how the situation goes on. I get that sometimes we can fail, but all we can do is keep trying and just move on with life, just try and keep trying that's more than enough.

All matters on how you would really be able to sustain it because this had been that typical issue on the time that you are living on a decent life on which you could really be able to buy on things that you do like or simply that being too lavish then most people do really end up on getting wrecked because of too much spending and their income cant really be able to support that kind of lifestyle. Yes,we do only live once and we do make outmost of it but there are really some dumb ideas and actions on which it isnt really that something worth to follow on, specially on this kind of perceptions in life that you should live life to the fullest and trying out to experience a life which you can buy on everything. Its true that we cant really be able to know on how long we do live on this world and specially if you do have your own family then budgeting would really be that necessary or something that should really be in default.

We know that there's no such thing about unlimited fund and if you do keep on spending on something useless impulsively and time comes that you dont have enough money anymore
on supporting your impulsive buying or spending then this is where or when the time you would really be regretting in all the actions that you had made out earlier.
Regrets do always come at the end and dont make yourself that come into such point that you would really be struggling on living.

Basically there is nothing like unnecessary purchases for me because for every dime I spend, it has already been predetermined and most times, I spend almost all of my money on health and that's why I also barely have to change cloths or make any unnecessary purchase and I don't even drink or smoke and due to my health, I also see those stuffs are unnecessary hence I don't spend on them and currently I'm the bread winner of my family and ought to be responsible  with every money in my possession.

So I basically barely find myself in situations of making unnecessary purchases.

Yes. I experienced this when I was earning so much money too, I found that there's no limit to how much I spend but when the budget caught up I was faced with a harsh truth. I think learning about budgeting allowed me to actually leave the month with a surplus rather than ending the month with no money until the next paycheck comes. Once I started budgeting and tempering myself with discipline I started seeing differences in how I much I can earn and save, I'm a frugal person at heart and the country that I live in is not that expensive by the dollar, so I was able to save a lot of money after getting that massive reality check in the face.

Can't really say it "unnecessary"

Most of the purchase I did, was thorough the planning so I can actually afford it instead of just randomly buying stuff without any plan first. As the time goes, that kind of mindset is always bugging me because maybe you would need that money in the future even though "it's flowing", I guess it's just a human nature and you won't get fed up with everything you buy, you just want more and more the only way to stop that "unnecessary" purchase is by yourself and you need to stop that once you experince it.

When our economy grows well and money continues to flow into our personal pockets, we will also indirectly adjust to the needs that will indeed become more than before. If you know a person that spends money unnecessarily then you should talk to him. Money this days are hard to get and to spend them unnecessarily because you have plenty is unwise. You can introduce the person to Bitcoin, teach him and tell him to start investing in Bitcoin gradually. I hold firmly to what you have just said. At most point in time there have been some periods when a man earns good salary or got a big pay from his job. The only thing is that at that period they do not have a plan that is why it seems they spent the money unnecessarily. The biggest way to stop wasting money is to have a plan. When you have enough money with you and you are tempted to spend money impulsively, ask yourself if what you want to spend on it will help you achieve your plan or draw you closer in achieving that plan.

It would really be called our nature as humans if indeed all the factors we have support such as for example what you mentioned with increasing finances then surely our purchasing power and desires will also be higher. That's good, although setting aside a little to save so that it can be used for urgent needs is in my opinion a good preparation so that when we are in an urgent difficult situation we can use the savings, and set aside for business. Yes indeed managing finances is not easy there are temptations like you said about you always changing vehicles in order to look cool and capable, this in my opinion is not a wrong matter everyone wants to look cool to others, even though we follow a luxurious lifestyle as long as we can manage finances well it doesn't matter, but indeed some people find it difficult to manage finances and only focus on a lifestyle that wants to look cool without thinking about the future that exists by spending all the income they get, this is not a problem for me just if they can afford it then go ahead. I must admit to myself and to you guys that unnecessary purchase is indeed my kind of thing , but not like others that I blame this attitude? for me its not because sometimes what I did bought unintentionally had bring me comfort sometimes.

Like recently when I bought a Cute Bluetooth speaker as I only come across in a market ,yet I still have my JBL speaker meaning this is just an excess buying.

but what made it best? after few days of purchase? my JBL speaker stopped working so that cute one needs to takes place, though this is not really a good act because we can use that money for some other important thing.

To comment on my own behalf, it actually doesn't make any sense whether I have a lot of money or not for unnecessary expenses. To give an example of how I spend my salary, I usually think that since I have just received my salary in the first days of the month, I have money after all and I start spending like crazy. Of course, after a certain point I have a limited amount of money left because I spend most of my salary and then I start spending it thinking that I can at least buy or do this because I don't have much money left anyway. So when it comes to unnecessary expenses and me I see that I consume meaninglessly 😃

In summary, while I spend recklessly since I just received my salary at the beginning of the month, I continue to spend my money which decreases in the middle and towards the end of the month thinking that there isn't much left anyway. At the beginning of the month, I feel like a sports car with a full tank of fuel and at the middle and end of the month I feel like a truck whose brakes have burst and continues to go downhill by pressing the gas.

Yes, I also noticed in myself that I always buy things that are not necessary especially when I have a lot of money. Then when I'm short on money, I'll just save because that budget doesn't seem to be enough.
