From the two data and sources above, you can see and assess what they have done, so that they can achieve something that you think should be done and achieved, but you need to do what you need to know is: for the community here, maybe it is more appreciated by other members who are here, rather than you having to force yourself to do something you don't actually know. do the skills you have, that's better.

There are two type of members in this forum, the members who just make post not minding if they make any sense or not and then the forum members who are very careful and intentional with every post they make. Many prominent and high ranking members of the forum are know for their quality contributions, so they are not just posters. By regularly contributing meaningfully to this forum, we contribute to the growth of the forum

I honestly can't say that I am a user who has contributed much to this forum - but I was taught to contribute from day one even though I was still at the backward order among the other contributors. I don't need anyone's credit or confession for what I've done for the forum - but one of the most useful things for the forum is reporting spam and low quality posts as well as rule breaking posts from some users which in turn can make the forum look cleaner.

Not all reputable users are forum gems - some of them got them because of trade between users, others got them because of their active contributions as knowledgeable users. You just need to be yourself instead of thinking about how to be someone else - it's a good way to appreciate the only person you see when you're in front of the mirror.

These set of members that make post without minding if the post is making any sense or not are the types we have more in the Forum than the ones who take their time to make a quality posts.
They don't care about what goes on in the Forum all they know is make post and go off, they can't be seen showing much dedication to the growth of this Forum and that's where I believe some members don't want to be in (the less concerned members). With the other members who give us something to learn from, I'd say they should continue because the newbies have so much to learn from.

Countless numbers of contributions and developments that are well identified, if you remember well how the selection of merits sources are, forum moderators, staffs and DT as well, this are people who have done something tangible to the development of the forum to have deserve holding such title or position.

Though you've already stated that aside posting, but i think that posting aspect of it should be the most considerable one because there's nothing you can do to the forum without you first posting it, through your post you can suggest new ideas, this is totally different from posting to fulfill a signature campaign requirements, that is just by the way, there are many people on campaigns and are cotributing well to the forum growth.

You can also consider user like powerglove, who has been always consistent in bringing new technical ideas to the forum and this is because he's very good at that, some other members bringing varieties of contest, learning kits, news updates, signature campaigns, community awards, lending service and every other consistent development i may not remember are also part of what makes this large community keep growing, not to even talk about bitcoin discussion itself, which is the main purpose for this platform.

Keeping the rules of the forum is good enough for the growth of the forum, what the forum require from members is to abide to the laws of the forum and this will be better growth from the forum. The purpose of the forum is to make quality discussions and if members of the forum can make quality discussion it will affect the growth of the forum for good. Any member who can do what is needful of the forum by keeping the rules it is the best development any member can contribute in the growth of the forum.

Yes I absolutely agree with you on keeping the Forum clean by staying on course, not going against the rules and regulations because by going against it the forum would be in total mess. But when you start keeping the rules and regulations in check don't you think you need something more outstanding to make you recognized by many in this Forum at large?
Why I'm saying that is because we have 95% of the Forum members who only come here, obey the rules make quality post and then dash offline. At least that's their main concern. I know what I'm thinking is not what others are thinking but adding extra positivity is needed to show much loyalty to the Forum, because this community has ways of elevating people.

For me though, I do not know what you mean by some people having the title "prominent" by their name, but what I do know is that, each and every one of us here, regardless of rank, merit, or activity, are in one way or the other, contributing to the general activity and global ranking of the forum.

Even those who simply visit the forum, spend some time reading a post of two, have been counted among the visitors of the forum for that day, and the higher this number, the higher bitcointalk is ranked globally in terms of most popular and most visited sites worldwide.

If you remove posting then even prominent member shouldn’t be called prominent since all their contribution is an the form posting. Forum is alive because there’s users like us that keep posting that gives activity to the forum because if only few posting here then it’s very hard for the forum to stay alive.

Our activity in the form of discussion to make the forum interactive is the best contribution we can give here. Those exceptional contribution such as being good on technical discussion is just a higher form of contribution but still our normal post that interact with other user is still counted.

Well, some members of this forum have really developed a few things in the forum, and as such, they become respected members or prominent (like you said) of the forum, but some people too did not actually develop anything in the forum, but they are still respected members of the forum. How is that possible? It's possible because they have been doing what you just called post, and you said it's just a normal thing. Of course, it's normal to post, but this time around, there has been a less of good quality posts, but those other prominent members who have only been making posts have been making quality posts. They don't create threads all the time unless there is actually a very good reason to do so. These people have been dedicated to the forum for a long time, and they are known based on the fact that they don't do shitposts and don't make unnecessary comments where they're not necessarily needed.

I know most members but don't want to call their attention. They are respected members here because of their consistency and how productive their ideas can be on threads.

I have not earned any titles yet, but I don't consider myself a bad poster here. Although not all my posts are of the highest quality, I am always real with every comment I leave. Again, it's a matter of time to determine how consistent one is in terms of quality posts and not just posting to earn some SATs.

You don't need to earn any title before you see yourself in that category (from the way you're saying it), all you need to do is keep your head up high, continue letting yourself know that you have a lot to do while you're doing your thing on the Forum.
I don't think you should talk about your post not in any way of high quality, I believe members here are the ones who can tell if you're doing well or not (which to me you are), for me I'd say do your thing and let your work speak for you.
If you're real with your words? Does speaking ill about people's errors included 😁?
And we shouldn't always talk much about earning, is there already and is like is bad to post and earn some Sats like you said. To me posting and correcting some errors by other members should be considered other than making those in any campaign feel like they're in the Forum only to earn.

The next best thing to posting good content here is sharing this forum with others. This has exponential effect because if people you have shared with also like the content, they will share further. This can result in mass awareness and adoption of crypto. Many here are for other purposes like interested in services. If the forum owner could encourage such members also to share the forum with friends and family, this forum can see huge growth.

Sharing the Forum with others like inviting them and telling them about Bitcoin, how to trade or investing on Bitcoin to make profit e.t.c is that how you mean?
People are still doing that and to me if I have a way of detecting thoso who have negative intentions while joining I'd just kick them out. Is good to create awareness but bad eggs are much in the Forum than good one, and with that it wouldn't speak good of anyone who's here to do crazy things that ain't connected to the growth of this Forum.
The Forum is huge and is even getting bigger every single day with people joining, I don't think there's another way of inviting people to join other than the way you inform others, make the invite, you need no permission to do that but invite those who can make this place better not by doing wrong. Becoming recognized start with that.

There is nothing special in inviting people to join Bitcointalk and i don't think the forum is lacking in traffic or number of users. Notwithstanding, if you know people who have an interest in Bitcoin or have questions regarding Bitcoin and other whatnots, you definitely have to invite them to come here, the problem is when you begin to invite people who have zero interest in Bitcoin and who think they can pick up some quick money here, that's how we get more trolls, bounty hunters and low-level spammers.

Agree with this mate there are many users here in our community who are posting without knowing that their post is not just useful like for example in bounties board there are many high number of post but still newbie cause all of thier post is spam. But there's a users here in our community who are posting very good and contributed well In this community they make useful topics in order to teach  forum members.

Well, the forum has enough traffic already and yeah a new member won't be increasing the traffic levels a lot but if someone who is keen to learn about Bitcoin and want to share his/her idea to others then this is the right forum for that person. I still think it's somewhat risky to invite your closed ones into the forum because they can cause trouble for you if they aren't really positive about Bitcoin.

Btw, private invitations aren't going to cause any risk to you as long as you don't introduce them yourself but surely each new member can bring something new so it's good to have new members on the forum. Let's say that if someone invites 10 members and out of that 10 members 3 to 4 of them become contributing members of the forum then it's a win-win situation I guess.

It's you that choose such a name prominent people in the forum,  what we have in the forum that's well known is a reputable members in the forum, and been reputable is based on your transaction with people and how sincere you are in the forum..and theirs a very big symbol shown that you have transact with this person and it can be recommended to another person base on how sincere is the person

So it's call Trust and it shows green colour in which I know quite well, so what I want you to know is that everyone in this forum is equal and what different you from another person is how sincere you are and trustworthy you are. Theirs some people here their objective is to make sure they have scammed people and that's their motive as well...while others their motive is to read and learn things about bitcoin.

Being a prominent member in the forum has to do with the contribution you’ve made in the forum. There is no tag attached to anyone for being a prominent member in the forum. For all members in the forum I see as prominent is based on my own personal experience/encounter on their posts, their contributions to the forum and how often I come across their informative posts in the forum. Being a prominent member is just a name you decide to use for members you feel have such potentials, I might have a different meaning to that, but people I regard and hold with high esteem in the forum are my most prominent members here that I look up to.

Although I haven't been here long enough but during my short stay here, I think the difference is clear with some members of the community and other members but what I will just like to clear out is that not all member actually needs to be the so called prominent because even the circle of life states this, because they need to be a balance of things as some people need to commit mistake, some correct those mistake and so many other things that needs the balance of life and since here is a community it's actually normal because there is always a level of higher rank and common member of the community.

That's another side of showing how good or should I say important in terms of contributing to the Forum. That's  where we have so many members who post and go off like nothing happened, from what you said these set of users don't put it to heart, they do their thing and go but with some when told them about how good their post has been helpful it will get into their head and with time you see them losing that ability to post useful contents.
As for newbies they're just getting into play so with time they'd realize that they need to straighten up.
