I have read and heard some connections between Binance and Trust wallet. Although the former is an exchange while the later is a non custodial wallet but there is this link of CZ between them.
This this not actually why I created this thread. The reason for this thread is to know if during the bull run, will the binance BNB prevent Trust wallet TWT from mooning?
When the FTX bankruptcy happened, TWT gained price, that was when I decided that I will invest in TWT.

I don't see why they would do that even if we assume that they could manipulate TWT's market.

Thank you for this information. I had thought that it is a mere media rumours, little did I know that it is a complete take over. Also this happened since 2018.

This pretty much sums it up. If you are trusting binance is having problems, everything connected to binance is affected.

And when binance fud starts, even if TWT wouldn't be in reality in any danger, markets eventually see the connection and dump everything they can. As fear plays a major role in investing and day trading. Just a connection makes it tainted. Sol was tainted by FTX, even though nothing on that was their fault. Sol is as good coin as it was back then.

Everything will depend on the price at which you will buy TWT and Solana. It is not worth buying now, as the price of these coins has already increased significantly. I think there will still be an opportunity to buy TWT at 70 cents and Solana at $15, as I hope there will still be a big dump before the bull run.

No one knows that. We can only assume that everything will be fine, but if some critical vulnerability is discovered tomorrow, all these assumptions will collapse like a house of cards.

No, it is an altcoin, only bitcoin is suitable for the DCA strategy. In other cases, you risk losing money using this strategy.

Both tokens are owned by the same entitle, but they both have different use cases, which means they should not rely on each other for them to be profitable in the crypto market.
 
BNB is an exchange token and also a smart contract token that is used to fill out a transaction fee for all of their transactions that are being done on the network. The more demand and use for the token increase, the more the price can increase as well.
 
So for trust wallet token their token is being used for staking and other service which holders benefit by holding it, so their is no connection between now trust wallet token price can be prevented from pumping as a result of BNB being placed at the top, unless binance decide to do their manipulation on any of those tokens, nothing can't be done by them.

TWT's use case is limited unlike ADA and SOL which are native tokens of independent chains. If I'm to pick between the two mid-cap coins then I'll probably pick ADA strictly because I think it has better network security. Solana may have the high TPS and cheap transaction fees but that's not enough for me to invest. The outages in the past made a lot of people lose interest in keeping SOL for long term.

Right now, most of my wallet transactions are done with TrustWallet though in the past I lost coins with it worth $100 at that time (right now that value shrink to just $10...oh well) but that maybe my fault as I was then naive not putting a password with the wallet. Now, this is actually my first time to learn that Binance had acquired TrustWallet for good...I must be living in the cave to not to know this news. Anyway, back to your main question...I don't any reason why Binance or CZ would prevent TWT from reaching its highest potential with price especially in 2024. When you own something, you would always be happy to see its value rise...and you can even sell the tokens you are holding for that platform so as to cash-in and get benefitted with its rise too. Therefore, it is good for the interest of Binance for TWT to maybe one day reach $5 - now this is just my speculation and don't trust a naive like me.

The fate if TWT is yet to be known but TWT is an investment worthy of consideration. The connection between BNB and TWT is irrelevant, if you ask me. Although TWT exists on Binance BEP20 chain, it has no direct impact on it asides the fact that CZ is connected to the both projects.

TWT is for me, is a good project to DCA but you still have to do your own research on that.

TWT moons with or without BNB so their pumps should not be compared neither are they hinderances

TWT token was supposed to be a bullish token for Binance DEX, as it was an attempt by Binance to attract the attention of investors from UniSwap and pancakeswap, but the token did not give good results or interactions upon launch, so I believe that the TWT token is a currency that will not rise again or will never be comparing it to UniSwap or Binance BNB.

For sure there would and this is something that we do people been waiting specially into those someone who do have that actual taste of those big dumps before bull run would be starting.This would be usually happening on post halving season on which it do really looks like for the price on trying out to prepare for some huge pump which its always been the case. The only main question here is that on when it would happen for this cycle?
Would it really be playing around pre-halving or post-halving time? About on TWT then i dont see any connections or reasons that it would really be affected significantly knowing that TWT isnt really just that listed on Binance alone. Lets say that it does have that liquidity but considering that other exchange does have it then i dont see for it to be that giving a huge impact unless if FUD would really be that on extreme extent

I can't say that $TWT will be good for DCA, not only $TWT, in fact I have the same thoughts as other altcoins. For me, DCA is only relevant if implemented for investing in Bitcoin, it has been proven that Bitcoin (BTC) is capable of being a safe haven, just for that reason.

Im not really sure but twt is a CZ token related which is also under their umbrella. For sure they are planning something avout it. Ive been using trustwallet but really dont know the use case of twt for the platform. Ice had twt before due to airdrops but Ive dumped it too early. If Bnb would pump, surely twt too since its has a major backing.

According to some information that @Yogee mentioned, they have such a relationship. And it is not surprising that if the volatility of BNB and TWT interact with each other (TWT is also part of the BNB ecosystem), like the story of the collapse of LUNA, FTX... then the products inside how miserably they all failed. Regardless of the time, we all have benefits and risks in the process of investing in crypto. From a long-term perspective, I think TWT will probably achieve good price increases in the future, but in general, I think Predictions about it all depend on Bitcoin's main reaction to impact on different products.

Yes, the primary crypto that can benefit under it is BNB because we need it to have the other. BNB is still the main token of Binance so yeah we can prioritize it more than the BSC. Maybe for you, other tokens in the BSC chain is not important anymore but there are people who are actually rooting on them. They trade and invest on it. Maybe TWT is among those tokens that they prioritize because it is owned by Trust wallet and then it has a connection with Binance. Maybe the coin can benefit as well if BNB/BSC is doing well. I don't see a reason why they will prevent it from pumping. So @OP, just go for it and good luck on your journey.

CZ and Binance has stake with them, they invested in them and in return where given large portion of TWT, that's how there connection came about but Trust wallet is an independent company that doesn't depend on Binance bit of course, the relationship cannot be deny, that's the reason behind all this motivation and whales around them. If not for CZ influence, they are not worth upto coins like SUI and Aptos but when price crash some months ago, they seems to be strong in recovery when anytime bitcoin pump.

Just like you said, When FTX collapsed, tbe token fell badly but that wasn't all, all the subordinates projects like Solana SOL, Near protocol and Matic. You a similar damage on Binance if they should go Bankrupt, BNB is going to be the first coin that will be affected then follow by the subsidiary projects like TWT as example. However, not saying is not possible but Binance is not going bankrupted.

TWT is good projects, they have good use of the token as utility inside the wallet, they also have backers like Binance and other venture capitals that invested on them, the coin will do well if you consider it as a long term investment because from the listing price, the project has gone far.

I don't expect any sort of "moon" for TWT, at best it's probably an increase of 30, or 40% maybe on the higher side. There's still a possibility though so you can probably hodl it if you want, but there are probably better altcoins out there in general really. Most altcoins follow Bitcoin when it's pumping up anyway and there are probably ones that would go higher than what TWT can make. As for DCA'ing it, I don't recommend really. As with what I said earlier, there's probably better ones out there, most especially Bitcoin if you want to DCA.
