How many times it is going to pump? IMHO not that much anymore. If it is going to peak to around $300 then it is not that much anymore. Yeah, Litecoin is known, old and one of the reputed altcoins in the market.

But as of this age, the trend changes and investors are trying to find something that has the potential and if they do not find the one, they go back to the usual old ones.

Litecoin can be that one other choice but there is more likely that Bitcoin is always the safest place for most of them all.

Has there been much development? No. Is the community still active? No. But they are willing to make a move if development occurs. At this point they seem dead, but they can be revived. Because without popularity, there will be not be mainstream adoption and without that its downward vicious cycle.

But as of this age, the trend changes and investors are trying to find something that has the potential and if they do not find the one, they go back to the usual old ones.

The new investors will look for utilities and uses and if they dont find any they will move on and not baghold unlike the existing ones.

Litecoin can be that one other choice but there is more likely that Bitcoin is always the safest place for most of them all.

True, but I like having some thing of a silver to bitcoin. Ethereum has taken that place but Litecoin is another coin to hope for.

LTC is one solid altcoin. If there are a few altcoins that I am willing to keep for a while, it would surely include LTC. It isn't like the majority of altcoins that are popular right now. They are mostly popular due to hype. But this kind of popularity won't last.

LTC has been around for many years and it remains dependable. LTC is one of the those few altcoins that actually have use-cases. In times when the fee of Bitcoin is too expensive, LTC is the coin to go. I have no doubt that LTC will get back to its ATH. That's more than 300% from its current price.

LTC has a solid community over the years and proven to be a good coin to have but time changes and technologies evolves. The chances of LTC being over shadowed by other altcoin is much higher now given that people are finding new tokens that has a potential to be greater than LTC. The coin community is gradually lesser than it's first bull market, I think that when the bull market arrives, we can expect lesser traction on it's price. I don't hate LTC but I think that newer tokens is better and has a greater potential for us to make much more profit.

Many people are sleeping on it I agree, I feel like litecoin will do amazing during this bull run and people are not aware of how great it could very well be, I think it will definitely be one of the best ones out there and if you are investing right now, even after all the increases, I think one could make so much money from it.

I believe that it has a potential to be as high as top 5 cryptocurrency, if we remove all the stablecoins from the calculation and look at just altcoins, then I would say after bitcoin, ethereum and bnb, then litecoin has a possibility to be fourth biggest one. I am not saying it will be, but the potential is there and I think it could very well get there eventually for sure, that is important.

LTC is a top coin, and is one of the old coins that is quite good in the market. But I was really disappointed with the coin's performance in the last bullish season. Because this was completely unexpected, LTC was not able to skyrocket as expected. ha ha
So, this year we are preparing to buy again for this coin or not. However, it seems I prefer to focus more on Bitcoin. Or altcoins like ETH, BNB, and also SOL or Matic. This is certainly equally risky and not necessarily as potential as hoped.

In my experience whenever you see Litecoin pumping it means the top is in the crypto market. I noticed this a few years back.

I think the way it works is bitcoin tops and the money flows into alts like Litecoin, then Litecoin pumps and usually it tops and the whales get into stables or fiat and it’s the top of the cycle.

So you don’t want Litecoin Pumping right now.

Isn't what you described called the Altcoin season? When bitcoin finally hits the peak and everyone has finally taken their profit they go for altcoin to increase their profit by buying altcoins, isn't that how the altcoin season starts? I haven't been buying any altcoin in a long time, had my share of failures with bad altcoins that I just want to secure the long-term with bitcoin.

Lite coin is an old coin that is still fascinating even though it is below 100$ per piece but is still quite strong with the new altcoin challenges that have sprung up, talking about altcoins is something unique because the price will go up with the pump price of bitcoin, but when dumping sometimes look at the volume and transaction chain itself, I noticed in certain conditions on coinmarketcap, this is a new challenge especially the capital spent with a commensurate exchange rate (excluding decimals), altcoins are widely used for the art of daily scalping and each coin has its history and fans (traders,) altcoins are an opportunity if a trader is able to see trends, I myself even though I get altcoins are often divided in half with the parent, the portfolio will look growing if it is not kept in 1 color and not in 1 basket because my goal is profit, if lite coin still looks active and quite senior because of its journey and popularity it is natural, I also witnessed that litecoin has been in this price range for a long time.

This is one of the currency I first hold back when I was new to cryptocurrency world, though I first bought Bitcoin but since it has good price i keep using mine but Litecoin stays in my wallet ,  but after 2017  when litecoin starts really bad shape ? i let go and convert my coins into Ethereum  and Bitcoin with some small coin and did not come back to Litecoin investment.
saying it is sleeping giant seems promising but expectation always against reality so I would rather put my money in more safer and good coins .

Litecoin is past it's peak now as it was used as quickest mode of payment transfer when bitcoin transactions were taking ages with high charges, I still remember using it to transfer my funds back in 2017 and I did invest in it during September 2017 when it was around $80, just before the bullrun and cashed out during December when it was around $300 and after that we have not seen any pump in Litecoin for roughly three years before it briefly touched ATH in 2021 which is still surprising because it was very rare for an existing coin which was part of 2017 bullrun to achieve ATH in 2021 bullrun. But if we have a look there are much better projects available in terms of faster transaction and almost zero transaction fee wherein Litecoin was known for lightening transaction speed in the past and new players have taken over this aspect of crypto and practically I don't find even a single valid reason to invest into LTC and I believe any investor will think in the same line. We should take a pause on LTC.

Basically it gains 30% due to its halving and no one know exactly which coin will perform well and will gain much in the bull season. If you grab at this time any of the top 100 coins so you will book a decent profit amount in the next bull season. So not even LTC you should grab more coins as you can. This will give you more profit instead of investing Only in one coin.

To be honest, I think Litecoin is not gonna pump hard and come back to the top 10. It's an old coin, most people already abandoned it or will just look at Bitcoin or younger projects. Right now it's just a coin with cheap and fast transactions, it's good but nothing more IMO.

I am still digging in my old computer from where I put my Litecoin in 2018 and still cannot find it till now ,
hoping that this growth coming when i finally find my Holding , Me and my wife are combining our time and effort to look at those
because my laziness in the past to save copy of my keys turns me to forgetting everything and now seeking where did I put my
30 litecoins that for sure will make me rich when the price goes back to its all time high like four hundred plus dollars .

Although I don't often hold Litecoin, I'm still quite happy to know about the events and their impact on Litecoin's price. Everything that's happening, I think is quite appropriate compared to what has happened. Even the information inside Litecoin, but obviously it still depends on the trend of bitcoin.
Compared to the level it reached before halving, perhaps this time around switching to accumulation and waiting for the next cycle is also a quite reasonable choice. IMO, after all, it is the leading cryptocurrency in space and time. Perhaps we are close to a new bullish trend, so the current goal for me is probably to accumulate many different things, not just assets.

I think there's no hype of Litecoin, it's been treated like a little brother to Bitcoin though. And with that said, there is no update whatsoever with the code itself for the last 2 years,

I think yeah, LTC has some potential, but what about BCH? The halving of BCH has yet to occur. Overall, all the assets look nice to have in the wallet but on what basis you (op) is saying it can gain 300%.

Even though LTC has some potential, it's not moving that much. Look at the last seven days chart. It's not moving at all. It increased 1% in a week while most of the altcoins/token improved. Wait, you were talking about BCH as well. I don't think Bitcoin community ever supported BCH because it's a scam coin which was created by a scammer!

Nowadays, many investors are smart and make realistic choices that they think will generate profits for them, and perhaps everyone too, if they want to buy coins, will definitely buy coins that have the potential to generate huge profits for them.
Currently there are many altcoins and they are also competing, and maybe because LTC does not have a significant movement that makes investors hesitate to buy it, and that does not mean LTC will sleep forever and I am sure LTC will wake up from that sleep when the time comes.
And I still have LTC, but that doesn't mean I'll buy it again. And I prefer some other potentially profitable coins, especially Bitcoin and leave my LTC which has been around for a long time because I still believe that in the long run they will definitely wake up from their slumber, and I think many people think like that.

The hype with LTC was already there when it appeared and cost 4-5 dollars. That is, there is no need to expect any very big profit from LTC with the current capitalisation. The maximum that can be expected is growth together with the rest of the market when the bulls come back. This is not digital silver, but a project that managed to stay on the market and not die.

The historical price of Litecoin, both before and after its halving, should be the basis for some experts optimism that Litecoin will experience a 300% gain throughout the bull run.

According to what I've learned, investing in Litecoin is the kind of altcoin that demands patience to witness price increases. That's why I don't wonder why the price hasn't increased dramatically as I would have expected after months of it hovering between $64 and $69 instead of rising sharply. I have faith that the price will rise during the bull run, which might bring it to at least $500.

Prior to its August halving period, I purchased Litecoin a few months ago. It takes months before the sleeping giant produces a significant price shift, based on what I know about Litecoin and its halving.
