XRP in this case, rarely enough, is better prospective than LTC, because simply put XRP willing to cooperate with big corporation even banks for the sake of growing their market capitalization but LTC will just stagnating not having any innovation for the next few years.
I don't take lite coin investment seriously to be honest, i just think that there are better altcoin you can invest out there.

Yeah, XRP is far better than Litecoin. I thought of that two and it's one of the reasons why I paired it with Litecoin to probably earn more of it incase Litecoin pumps against it before XRP bull run comes. I like the way you describe both and this makes me feel like Litecoin wont be an investment with a reasonable profit in the future.

LTC will surely pump when the bull market come but I don't think the pump might be strong. Even my LTC and XRP pair on Bitget smart portfolio has been stable so far because there isnt much difference between the two in term of price movement. Hopefully, when the bull market comes, there will be big difference.

We all waits patiently for the bull market to come, that's how to earn from the system. But if one uses his or her head properly and calculatively, they can also be earning massively from the bear season. Litecoin has potentials of pumping to the moon, we just have to exercised patience and accumulate small profits from the little pumpings it makes, might turn out to be one of these abandoned projects in the market, just as Dogecoin that got abandoned by its project team. However these altcoins do triggered bullish candles when the bull candles do comes but no all of them.

I'm beginning to have some doubts on. So I will prefer to wait patiently while pairing some coins with Litecoin cos I can't always get the right time to DCA them. So, a pump from this coin will help me do so by automatically selling it and buying those alts for me. And if I see that otherwise is happening, I will remove the pairs or sell some Litecoin to buy those alts.

While 100% or even 200% in profits may seem like a good deal, we must not forget that litecoin is down 80% from its all time high, so anyone that invested at that level or at least close to it needs for litecoin to grow 350% or even 400% just to breakeven.

So it is natural there are many people that at this moment are doubtful about the potential litecoin may have of doing such thing, and speculate that litecoin holders may face a scenario similar than the one ripple holders had to face during the last 5 years.

LTC is having a hard time reaching a new ATH. I think it has to do with the fact that investors are interested on coins with smart contract capabilities. Just wait until we get a Litecoin spot ETF, and market prices will never be this cheap ever again. It will trigger a massive "pump" that will lead LTC all the way to "Mars". I think mainstream investment companies will do this, especially when Litecoin is one of the oldest and most trusted cryptocurrencies on the market.

The cryptocurrency has a deflationary mechanism like Bitcoin with a limited supply of 84m units. What changes is the PoW algorithm and block time. This allows LTC to process more TPS than BTC itself (which means lower fees and faster confirmation times). In times where BTC becomes overloaded with too many Ordinals "junk", LTC proves to be a cheaper alternative for day-to-day payments. Not to mention, you can enjoy on-chain privacy with Mimblewimble. I'd say the cryptocurrency is extremely undervalued. Maybe one day it will gather the attention of the masses?

For a long time investors in this market thought that LTC will perform a function similar to what we saw with silver, so they expected that bitcoin will become like gold and will only be used for big transactions or as an asset to hold your wealth, and litecoin was used on our everyday transactions just like silver.

But the last years have seen this narrative to lose some of its support as litecoin is losing ground against new projects.

Why a centralized "shitcoin" would be any better than Litecoin? Just because XRP is rising in price, while LTC remains stagnant, doesn't mean one is better than the other. XRP may be cheaper and faster than LTC for day-to-day payments, but it's utterly-centralized. Not only Ripple (the company) holds a large portion of XRP's supply, but it also controls the majority of the network's validators. It could easily fade away into oblivion if the company goes bankrupt or decides to shut down the network for good.

Litecoin is like Bitcoin in the sense that there's no pre-mine or ICO or any kind, and it's driven by the community itself (not a company with its own interests). XRP is the "banker's coin", and can easily be manipulated at will. Just wait until it fails, and truly-decentralized cryptocurrencies will rise all the way to glory. I strongly believe LTC is a hidden gem waiting to blossom someday. Who knows if it lives true to its promise of being "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold" in the future?

Yes, Litecoin hasn't grown at all in this bull run. It grew large enough a month ago the halving and since than has been below $75 for quite a time. I have a small amount of  Litecoin in my portfolio that I was trying to grid trade above my buying price but it hasn't even hit a slab yet. I guess the whales are accumulating it for the cheap price.
Anything below $75 is a discounted price for Litecoin as it can easily x2 to $150. Currently I don't have plans to further increase my holdings but if anyone doesn't have Litecoin in their portfolio, it's the best time to consider it.

Its hard to imagine a coin from 2012 suddenly taking the world by storm, but it does have its benefits and I think it will rise nicely with the nest bull run.

I agree, LTC does have really good fundamentals and I see no reason why it won't perform nicely in this bull run. Currently keeping it right up there with Matic and BGB as one of my top 3 holdings.

The way you explaindd the difference between LTC and XRP makes me feel like a real noob. So, this means XRP may be backed by the team behind it but LTC is more decentralized because there is not team holding more than they are supposed to hold. Well, we will see how it goes as I still hold the two and also pair them together to take profit from and buy the other if any of the two pumps against the other. With time, we will know the most reliable and I'm sure that I'm still gonna be holding the two by then.

Looking at the potential bull run coming, if we can see bitcoin reaching a new ATH, then why not the same for Litecoin as well? I think that is a quite big possibility and it will probably happen. I do agree that it is not an easy thing to hope for, and maybe it will fail, but that doesn't mean that it is not going to be true, it just means that it is going to be a dangerous risk that you are taking.

I believe that the upside is that even if it doesn't double or triple in price, it will go up, so that means you are going to make profit, maybe more than you need, maybe not enough but you will make a profit. The only downside is that maybe some other coins could profit more, so you are going to be stuck with something that made you profit, but not as much as what you could have done with something else. If you are down with the ups and the downs of it, you could definitely invest into it, I do have some and I am happy with my decision, not a whole ton but I have a bit of it.

The thing is most people don't care about a cryptocurrency's fundamentals. They're only in it to make a lot of money within the shortest time possible. It's this reason why centralized smart contract platforms like Ethereum and Solana are going to the moon, while truly-decentralized cryptocurrencies (with the exception of Bitcoin) are left behind in the dust. We can see how demand for LTC is low these days, despite the fact that the network went through a block reward halving a while ago. LTC will survive, but it won't be as popular as other coins on the market.

Expect prices to decline or remain stagnant for a very long time. Who cares about the price, anyways? Crypto is all about utility. As long as LTC does the job it's supposed to, nothing else matters.

Yes, Litecoin hasn't grown at all in this bull run. It grew large enough a month ago the halving and since than has been below $75 for quite a time. I agree with you that the price is now good for those who are thinking of buying Ltc. This is a good time-tested asset and has a huge user base. I am still down with LTC, I got mine at $80 per piece and still waiting for the pump to happen. I did expect it to make an upward run after Bitcoin did or during the time it was climbing up but not much really happened. It only gained $3 - $4 which was not decent enough to take back the losses that happened mid-August of this year.
But I am not giving up on this yet, I will patiently wait for its return and I think it can possibly be dragged up when the BTC ETF is approved. Litecoin is still used in a lot of places, especially in the gambling industry. So yes, I will probably just wait longer but it will be a fruitful one at the right time.

I like how you're enthusiastic and hopeful about litecoin, so far it doesn't diminish like shitcoins,  then it can be worth the wait. It's good to invest long term in crypro coins that have stood the test of time in the crypro market, because you know that even if they're static or in their bear run, that eventually they'll hit bull run, and hopefully be very profitable to sale. Aside from bitcoin, my preference in altcoins is ethereum, it gives me peace of mind, being second in command to bitcoin, although this does not take anything away from other top altcoins like litecoin.

It's extremely-undervalued. Especially with a deflationary mechanism and a limited supply of 84m coins. I guess people haven't noticed LTC's benefits yet. It could be a result of poor marketing/promotion from the developer team. Whereas Bitcoin often struggles to reach the masses because of high fees and slow confirmation times, Litecoin has plenty of space available for day-to-day payments. This is possible because of LTC's block time of only 2.5 minutes (compared to BTC's 10 min block time).

With the LN, and even Mimblewimble for privacy-oriented transactions, Litecoin proves itself to be a good digital cash system for the world. As long as there are exchanges trading this coin, LTC holders should have nothing to worry about. Who knows if Litecoin outlives many of the altcoins we know and love today? Just my opinion

It doesn't matter if it was an old project or new but what matters most is the use case and application of the project in the crypto space and it is to find out that Litecoin is not the choice of the people. Maybe it was not the right time for LTC to gain such attraction but for me, it never really looked attractive. People have thought about earning a profit and LTC never shows such potential that will attract and encourage investors. They have the reason why they reject and this will have a huge impact on its price where even during the bull season it never goes high like others.
