I myself have experienced a phase like this, where I have lost all my money, it's not so big but it's annoying when the money I have runs out just like that, in the end I borrowed money from my friend to go back to gambling in the hope that I can make up for the losses I have felt. Good luck was on my side so I got a big win that multiplied my money that had been lost due to gambling. At times like this, greed got the better of me and I couldn't control myself. So it all comes down to luck.

But now I only play on weekends and even that is rarely done because I have experienced the bad things from gambling. And my experience above is not to be used as advice, I just share my experience when I was crazy gambling. I think it's normal for players to feel frustrated when they lose and want back the losses that have occurred, but I say that expecting back losses is wrong. because it is very unlikely to happen. What happened to me maybe it was also because I was lucky so I could return all the capital that had been lost. So my advice is to gamble wisely, because it will limit us when gambling, because all gambling cannot be separated from luck.

Are you sure that it wasn't big enough? Then why you are annoyed? Or maybe you think it is small but you gamble too frequently or you are re-depositing right after a loss because you feel like you want a revenge. No it doesn't comes down to luck. You see because even if you are lucky to recover and win more, you still don't feel like quitting. Much more for those who experience to continue a bad luck continuously.

Expecting back losses isn't wrong. It was a good thing in fact so that we won't feel disappointed and most of the times the less we expect a win, the more the wins can come. The last thing that you said is true because even though there are skill-based games, luck still plays a role even just a little.

I only played once a week and at that time I lost my self-control so when I lost, instead of quitting, I played again and even borrowed money from friends. A person who loses is naturally upset because it's common, who says they don't want to quit? Can you read someone's mind? Are you sure everyone who gambles wants to keep playing? Can you be sure everyone has no gambling limits? Are you sure that all players are like that? Why would you say that? Are you one of those who gamble with no limits and want to keep playing?

Basically everyone doesn't want a loss, no one wants themselves to experience a loss, but in all things there must be a risk that will bring a loss. It all depends on ourselves whether we can run it properly or not. I myself can limit gambling by playing only on weekends, even if I have other events I don't play at all. But it's not up to me to make you believe, I'm just sharing my experience in gambling.

Lastly money management is the most crucial part in gambling. If you don't take account of your earnings and loosings, you might loss everything before you realize you have nothing left. So always maintain a limit when gambling. Gamble the amount that you can efford to loss not what you could win.

I haven't felt like a gambling addict.maybe because I consider myself a low income earner and meticulous keep track of everything I spend money on. I know that this is not so with some people but having low income means minimal amount is allocated to gambling and therefore, your risk of addicted to gambling is low because after you have considered the amount you'll spend on feeding for a month, house rent, health, transportation, internet fee, and other things, you can't even imagine being addicted. Well if you have bare minimum salary, for sure you would be conscious on every money you stake at gambling. Every money is important to you as you earned it for the whole month so wastign it all into gambling would be so regretful. Whenever you are at loss, some people would say they would try to recover their losses which will lead to addiction cause it will just worsen your situation, if you have low income, losing some few funds you will already realize how that money can cover some of your essential needs like from what you have mentioned. Using gambling as source of your income and escaped to your life, would never be an option to person that are earning money bare minimum. I actaully understand your point and it's quite relateable since I live in a country where most of the people earn money just to survive.

Every person earns money to meet the basic needs of life the addiction thing is really bad if you can't control yourself it makes things worse. He is very much aware about gambling even though his income is low he is not ready to take risk in spending his money on gambling. Isnt the person who gets few wins in a row or wins frequently, or even got some easy money, automatically turns into addicted gambler? I will speak for my self. I have made a 1 BNB deposit and rather easy turned it into 1.3 BNB, withdrew it and in few days that easily gained profit basically forced me to make deposit again and repeat everything. I think the people here on average have experienced addicted to gambling, about the level of badness in gambling is relatively according to their views, I have also experienced the same thing as you did, working to fulfill my gambling desire, but fortunately not For a long time, because I quickly realized that I would never be a better person if I was impulsive in gambling.

Well you are been addicted but you just didn't notice it since some signs of being addicted on gambling if you can't control yourself to gamble and spend more what you earn, you are just been denial and think that you are fine but choosing to spend a lot of money which you can't afford is really in bad situation. But gladly you are there still fine maybe you realize that you are taking it on wrong way and realize that you need to slow down. maybe its a little contradictory but I will tell you a little about this deviation that I used to be a very crazy gambler who spent all my valuables and my parents and several friends knew about my daily activities because I gambled since I was underage on slot machines which unconsciously made me I was addicted because I felt cool and challenged and in essence I admitted that I was addicted after losing a lot of valuable things and I decided to promise to quit gambling and while I was healing there was a woman who is now my wife who tried to help me get up not to gamble anymore and long story short I am married and have a small business and a small income but always safe in everyday life and I told my wife I wanted to gamble again because even though I had stopped gambling the thought of wanting to have fun gambling was still in my brain and my wife gave me permission to gamble but I am always reminded not to exceed the limits set by my wife.

In conclusion, maybe I not oppose @Docnaster opinion, but even though he has promised not to gamble anymore, I am sure he will definitely keep his commitment, but I am even more sure that he will want to gamble occasionally in sports gambling or casino games and I am sure that one day he will experience the same thing as me.

At least you are willing to be honest with yourself through this post that you have experienced a gambling addiction that made you continue to gamble and finance your addiction, but if you look at your story the level of your addiction is not too serious and you can still stop gambling in a short time, It is not easy for gambling addicts who have a high level of gambling addiction because it is complicated to get rid of the gambling habit and addiction quickly.
