Yes, it doesn't sound like what the OP describes can be considered the beginning of an addiction. He simply recharged the account once and also because he hadn't had any luck at all. If you bet $10 like when you play slots and you end up losing them but you have been entertained for a while because you win small prizes and you keep playing, when you run out of money you have been entertained for a while, but if you lose them without winning anything it is easy to get the bug and want to play more.

It is too early to conclude that it is addiction but that is how addiction starts, when you are unable to control emotions especially either when you keep losing or keep winning and you don’t know when to stop it is going to become a big problem when you don’t tackle it on time.

It’s normal losing money when gambling but we should always keep our emotions in check and never to allow greed interfere. Also it is best you stick to your non regular gambling and just stick to funding your wallet once a week and make sure you set a limit of not exceeding a certain amount of funding. You were able to control the emotions and did not deposit more but there may be many other gamblers who would keep playing irrespective of the loses.

One reason which I feel that you are not addicted yet is that you have only played two weeks of gamblings so usually a person is a bit more careful in for the games if he had lost some of the games.

Moreover being a gambler first you should makeup plan how much money would you spend daily, weekly or monthly on gambling and stick to that plan. In this way your risk is predefined and there is no way you can lose more than what you are already have decided before.

So basically you forgot that you have funded your betting account for the second time? Do you have problems with your memory or something? Maybe you are starting to "chase your loses", which is a bad sign. What do you play? Regular casino games or sports betting?
How do you fund your betting account? Via credit card or via crypto? Funding the account via crypto isn't that fast, because you have to login to your crypto wallet and send the transaction to the casino's crypto address. Do you have a Metamask wallet, which is linked to the gambling account? I don't use Metamask, but I can assume that it's way easier and faster to fund your account with a Metamask wallet.
I usually want to make it harder for me to fund my gambling account, so I don't end up chasing my loses and I can force myself to quit, when I'm in a losing streak.

You only funded your account to have fun, but you went and enjoyed it with the hope that you could recover the money you had lost. That is how some people become addicted to gambling. However, since this is the first time you funded your account wisely in a day, if care is not taken you may repeat that another day. Knowing that you are only funding your account to have fun right away means that you will lose the first $10 that you deposit. You should just put it off until another day. You shouldn't be surprised that is gambling; you shouldn't allow it to overcome you because I can say that you usually lost, not that you've won a large amount of money before. Your goal should be to simply enjoy yourself and try your luck; you should also stop making twice deposits a day to avoid being addicted to it.

Maybe you are becoming an addict, or maybe you just can't believe you lost that money and you feel like getting it back by trying over again, this feels like you are not ready to lose that money, like you've said, you don't normally take such risks when you gamble, so why now? You are chasing your losses.

Chasing losses doesn't mean you are addicted but it can also be a sign too, most times I believe that those who chase losses are those that are not ready to lose the money to gambling, all you need to do is gain control over yourself, if $10/is what you normally use to gamble everyday, once you lost all the money do not make another deposit.

Every $10 lost to gambling in every day is better than losing more in a single day, if that ten dollars is all you can afford to lose then stay on it, either you win or you lose, also you don't have to bet all the $10 at once, if you don't like the idea of just losing on one trial start using less amount, the more rounds you can go the higher your chance of winning something.
