Not really no. Even when I was pseudo-addicted, I was fully aware of when I played and what happened with what I bet. It was rather helpful that I always set a specific amount for each session immediately before I even start, so that after said bets happen, if I ever do want to play again, I just plan it out and list it in a small notebook I had for expenses. Also, I reckon you're not really "asking" yourself "when", more like you're making fun of the situation after realizing what happened. I reckon that's a sign of not addiction since you realized it anyway. At least for now, that is.

In my opinion. I don't see any symptoms of a gambling addiction based on what you've narrated. It's just that, you really want to get back what you've lost in the game that's why you've placed a bet for the second time. one of the reason why you tried to gamble because out of boredom and that's normal, you don't have to think that you are addicted already as long as you did that for fun and to entertain yourself also you are aware on what you have done... Chasing losses so many times doesn't mean you're addicted but this is also one of the early sign of being obsess in gambling that's why you have to think twice and know your limitations in placing bets.

Or you can simply say, that if the urge to play in gambling gets deeper, getting it to the stage of being uncontrollable, it's gambling addiction. If never reach this stage, consider it as normal gambling. Aside from that, no sign of chasing losses, even with the consecutive losses but still wanted to continue to gamble to get back his losses.

OP, losing twice on a gambling site in a day is normal, as long as you continue to control yourself and consider stopping even if your gambling activity ends with a loss. You may feel that this is the beginning of gambling addiction, but no.

No. I don't think. You just deposited twice while addicts won't stop. Maybe it just got into you that you want your money back and you failed. But, did you keep repeating the same process after the second loss? If not, then you are not a gambling addict.
I did the same thing once in my gambling history, deposited twice because I wanted to chase my losses but I could not get it back just like you. After that, I stopped playing and just rested the whole day.
The thing about gambling addicts is, that they won't stop there, they might as well not sleep the whole day as long as they can get money from somewhere, either in their bank accounts, credit cards, or anywhere it can be. You just played your game and tried one more time, that's it.

Not yet, but you will soon become, once you think that you don't like what you're doing in the casino and you're questioning your action, you're still ok but once you agree that you are doing it right and you think that you're still ok even though you keep depositing and losing then you are on your way to addiction.

Addiction is justifying your actions and not questioning how you deposit and play on the platform, when people around you become concerned about the amount of time and money you spend in a casino and you ignore them then you are deep into addiction and you need help to overcome it.

Every day do you fund your betting account (deposit) or do you only do it when you want to play?
From what I understand, if you only make deposits at certain times and don't do it every day for a small amount ($10), you are not considered a gambling addict.

The deposit with the amount you mentioned is too small and I can't find any enjoyment from the game I play.

You're still good others cannot stop depositing and playing until they are exhausted, the fact that you are fully aware of what you're doing and questioning it, it just means that you do not want to be a compulsive gambler and you have control of your activity.

But if you keep doing it and keep adding more hours and more money that will be time that you are turning into addiction, addiction is when you are not aware anymore of what you're doing you're not aware of the time and you want to keep your bankroll steady so you can play continuously.

I won't say you're actually becoming or turning to an addict but looking at the mood you were before deciding to fund your bet account to gamble the mood was a dull one and you must have been thrilled by the outcome of your bet from your first funding which might have brighten your countenance, and with the euphoria you lost count and refund again.

In as much as you didn't fund above your normal $10 amount you don't have a course to worry about addiction, a number of us has had the feeling too and we understand your worry quite well.

You've gamble with small money and I believe it is still within your budget, the only problem I see here is the lack of preparation and lack of analysis because you tend to have a guess bet which I think is not ok at all. The thing is that if you start doing it frequently then you start getting addicted to it.
You might not be a gambling addict right now but if you continue what you are doing now i.e. keep dpeositing without the want then you will eventually start getting addicted to gambling.

I guess it's possible that you were awarded some sort of "bonus" money that you may not have been aware of or perhaps it was deposited randomly to get you interested in starting to use your account again/more often going forward.  Did you try to withdraw the funds at all? Your idea that real addiction only shows up as a string of losses and financial ruin is interesting, but it might be oversimplifying the complex nature of addiction. Can the desire to get back losses, even when you're just playing for fun, not be a sign of a deeper problem? The desire to keep depositing, seemingly to extend playtime but possibly to get back losses, could be a sign that the person is subconsciously switching from a state of leisure to desperation.

It is very important to talk about the idea that the dealer always wins. It shows how gambling games are made to automatically favor the house. Should I say you fund it effortlessly without thinking twice and that's because you enjoy gambling as an entertainment and fun. If you really are skeptical of how much you spend into betting, I believe you will have a second thought before making that decision because you will even think of what will happen if you lose the money you deposited into the gambling platform.

I believe the 10 dollar deposits you made twice where money you can let's go else you will not make that 2 deposits. You were only seeking entertainment and to have fun probably because you were bored with that which you were already doing and this I can consider as almost normal with almost every one seeking further entertainment after been bored with that which they were been entertained with.

I don't think you are addicted yet but then it seems there is a tendency you could some day if you you purse your losses, if your sole aim was for fun then if you have funded and lost I think you should stop and don't fund any further that way you are knowing when the fun stops, because beyond that you may begin to pursue your losses and may gradually be addicted unknowingly, but for now I don't think you are yet but may me if you continue.

I don't think so, it comes from you that you don't always gamble and you don't fund twice a day after you lose. I think that's normal because it seems like you're just excited about gambling and you're probably enjoying it even if you lose like that. You have a budget for gambling and that's the only funding you have once, you just played too much without realizing it but that doesn't mean you're addicted. There's nothing wrong with overdoing it even a little as long as you're still in control and the important thing is that you're enjoying yourself. I do that sometimes too and we both don't gamble much.
