Such is life. It has always been like that wright from the oncept. There is a difference between the rich and the poor. The rich will always go for expensive things which the poor can not afford. I think that's the way they can show or express the use of their money. Every body have class and desire, it does not necessarily mean you must buy what is equivalent to your salary. As we always have heard we can't predict life as it is completely unpredictable, but if someone's fortune have decided it anything then he have to get it at any cost. Sometimes people loss their temper just for a single thing or for that thing which is not too important. But the main thing we should consider always run according to the waves. For example if there is a loss in something we should take one step back and follow another way to cross the barriers.

Success would only determine on how you would really be living your life and making out some wise decisions or not. If you do able to experience some sudden improvement on the time you are earning that much
then it would be normal that you would really be upgrading your living as well on which means that you arent that minding on tending to save up for some investment or business but rather you do cherish out
the current situation that you are in. Not all would really be that mindful about future events or plans but rather they would really be that minding on the current situation they are in.

We have always encountered such things in life and we will continue to do so. Some products are only for some people, and the reason for this is the unnecessary consumption behavior that comes with the concept of wealth.

I don't think anything has changed, there are just more humans and more things to buy. Just because we think it's waste of money, it might be worth it to someone else. And it's not like that money would be out of circulation. It just moves to other people. Who cares what item has been changed for the money?

No me financial freedom, is basically same thing i value money in the first place. It's a freedom to live your life without being constantly afraid that you or your kids might starve.
Riches won't automatically make you happy, but they create one hell of a safety net. If you have ever been poor, you know what i am talking about.

Just be contented on what we had as long as we can meet our basic needs, I think there is no reason to feel sad.  People wealth are not equal some were born wealthy and some are poor.  Some people have more than capability to spend while some are even lacking.  If we look at it and be affected by it everyday, then we won't be living in peace in our entire life.

Nothing new here to be honest, there are people out there who have a shitload of wealth, and it is not those that appear in tv doing extravagant stuff, it is people who do not look at the money when they want something. If you can purchase that luxurious perfume without sacrificing your other basic needs, savings, and others, then you're financially free. Financial freedom is basically when you don't worry about money anymore, or at least not that much. If you can purchase that luxurious perfume without sacrificing your other basic needs, savings, and others, then you're financially free. You don't have to feel sorry for anyone and once he can afford it, he should go ahead. 2nd one. I consider the current stage of my life where I'm starting in the work force and up to a certain age investments towards my time in the future. I agree with you to some point. Most of the time, we see ourselves as financially stable, which is based on the kind of money we have been able to accumulate over time, not knowing that what we have right now as the highest money in our lives is what others are spending on a daily basis, and some people see it as them being on their lowest cash.

I am financially independent if I can purchase the items I require for myself. I don't have to amass a lot of opulent possessions before I can declare myself financially independent. No matter how high the salary you are receiving, don't be surprised that you will still end up seeing it in perfume. I have seen different perfumes that are worth thousands of dollars, and people who have the money are still buying them. I also happy with the second option. It is normal that the meaning of financial freedom may be different for each person. But according to me, financial freedom does not mean that I need to buy things that are expensive and unnecessary to me.
In fact, nowadays Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, these social media influence our lives too much. Most of the people here prefer to show off who used what kind of cosmetics or who used how expensive clothes, or went to luxury hotel restaurants and compete among themselves. Especially by social media marketers and influencers, these public are so brainwashed that they have no brain. Yes if afforded then different matter there. Financial freedom's description varies per person. Someone might say that it's financial freedom when they can eat everything they want and don't have to be problematic with their bills.

The others could say that it is all about having all the material things that they never have. And the rest will just say it's all about having like lots of money that you can't imagine.

What I've learned from the others about being financially free is that, they can do everything and they all have the time to do things that they want to do while earning passively.

Despite of the different interpretation about financial freedom, at the end of the day the only thing certain about it is that we need financial freedom so we don't have to face financial problems at the present and most especially in the future. That's why we need not to settle less but learn to maximize opportunities so we can achieve financial freedom in the end. We need not to limit saving our own money not only from our salary alone but as much as possible from our investments that are giving us bigger interest and profits compared to the salary we earn from 8-hour day working.

There are two sentences that are quite interesting and took my focus when I was reading the whole content of your post. and I will try to explain it again and translate it.

Financial freedom actually talks about a situation where a person can actually afford anything he wants without going bankrupt or his finance being affected. So it's basically about you getting anything you want at your own will and still having enough savings.

Financial freedom is to be able to acquire anything of your choice at a particular time of need without actually having to worry of the cost. You will have to own a huge amount of money to be able to achieve this though financial freedom is not always about luxury, some people can be at a state of financial freedom any luxurious property not that they can’t afford them but just that they don’t want to. The truth is that no matter how big you think you are earning, there are people spending such amount on a menial value things and you just have to deal with it and continue leaving your life in your own standard. However, we should know that financial freedom is not just about having lots of money but It's all about having a healthy relationship with money. Financial freedom can mean different things to different people but I think it generally refers to having enough money to live comfortably without worrying about meeting basic needs. Financial freedom is a statement that mean different thing to different people,  to some financial freedom mean financial knowledge, skills and prudents, thisw innrhis category dont mind how much physical cash that is available for them, but are more concerned about their investment and ability to grow their investment at all them, I belong to this class of thoughts!

it lies the fact that sometimes we have our own definition of this financial freedom concept. but imo, as long as you can cover your basic expenses plus a lil bit more, no debt, that's more than enough to say, you are financially stable or independent.

IMO money spent on luxurious should be used to acquire treasures/assets and building evolutional technologies. Well, it depends on the person. I'm not surprised that someone could spend a fortune on a perfume; I've seen some really expensive ones at airport duty-free stores, so if they're selling them, there's certainly a market for them. Just because I wouldn't spend such an amount of money doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't. Mostly for the same reason, people spend excessive amounts on technology items, such as smartphones, laptops that aren't used for the purpose they were made for, smartwatches, and the list goes on forever.

Personally, I'm not fond of luxurious or expensive items, nor does expensive necessarily mean luxurious. I can live without buying a Rolex, the newest iPhone or MacBook, and so on. I prefer living a more modest life. I'd define financial freedom as the ability to not worry about making ends meet, being able to afford a vacation, or buying a new washing machine because the previous one suddenly broke down. It doesn't necessarily have to be a vacation at an extravagant hotel or top-of-the line appliance. There is nothing wrong with people buying luxurious things. But only when you dig deeper, you see the bigger picture. An average bottle of perfume could cost $2 to $3. And if you want a fancy one you can go for something that costs $5 to $10. How much do you think those perfume production is? And what's the difference between a regular average perfume and a luxurious perfume? There is a bit of difference in cost and materials for the making. But when you sum it up the difference is not that huge. That does not sell the product instead they sell the brand.

Money is for spending, I get your point. But money is also the thing that makes more money. It is the rich people who brainwash middle class or poor people to pursue luxurious thing. In business someone else's loss is someone's profit. Where do you think those rich people get their money? Do they print it? Of course not. Theres gigantic inequality I would not be surprised at all.  To some extent this isnt not a new modern world occurrence, think of the ancient spices and alot of them were exotic perfumes imported from lands months away when the world was much bigger and travel slower.  Yet some people could afford the giant luxuries and justify this trade, it didnt turn out negatively as we still remember the silk road being so much of the old world trade its legendary.

The three people you mentioned are very good examples to look at, although everyone also needs to look at what family they come from, because almost everyone in this world already knows that the three of them have worked and made quite good progress in their lives. The technology they have and have developed in the current era is also quite useful so it is worth looking at them as an example of how to get rich even though each person's abilities are always different in any case.

I agree. All of us has our own wants that will make us happy if we achieve to buy or to experience it in our life. We can't judge other person if they are enjoying things that are luxurious given that it may be their source of happiness in their life. Financial stability, freedom, or independence can come from someone who has a reliable source of income that regularly generates money to settle all needs at any time. It is possible for one to meet all their needs at that very moment, but when they don't have a consistent source of income, there is no way they can be financially stable. Now that the economy is bad in some countries, to be able to escape poverty, you don't only rely on one income source because that can satisfy all your needs. We have our different basic salary based in our work experiences and position, As presented the value of perfume of that person is OP's salary amount. Most of us save and live frugally, the aim is not to have an emergency fund, not to use it as business capital or as initial capital for investing with the aim of increasing our income. Pricing is a matter of cost in labor and sometimes for most luxurious products, subjective opinion of the manufacturer. This isn't always the case with all poor people, many of them have the capital but because they are not rich they get so attached to the little they have, and telling such people to invest is like telling them to go back been broke again.

In my opinion ,poor are because of their mind of poor people. Poor people  waste their money in useless things like buying mobile phone by installment and they pay 40 -50 percent extra. I have a slightly different view on this even though I am aligned with the OP but I am more concerned on equality I know if you work hard, save more, invest wisely but some of us don't even get that opportunity. For example it makes a huge difference in most of the countries if you are graduated out of an reputed tier 1 colleges as top companies wants to hire candidates from Top Tier colleges and pay them massively wherein those who cannot afford to get graduated from these colleges end up struggling for years only to realise a fresher candidate is paid more than them just because they are from top tier college. there are people naturally that love perfume and are so obsessed with it and will go to any extent to acquire it, but that indecisiveness in finance is dangerous because using a large amount of money to buy perfume is a misplaced priority if I am not forgetting there are less price perfume that can be purchased and you still get to smell nice. Buying too-expensive goods is part of frivolous ways of life and economics calls it ostentatious goods. They are such that do not quantify the price you buy them, they are a mere waste of money. When normal people or those with lower-middle income are able to buy that perfume even though they have to sacrifice their one-month salary I think it doesn't matter to them because they will get satisfaction and unusual sensations when they can reach the point of purchase like the rich do and after that their main target is the public, sort of forcing something just for the satisfaction of the feedback they get from the people who see it or can be called flexing.

That's really a mindset that is not recommended because there is no real benefit that they can get, and I'm sure that sensation will only get them for a few moments while the salary they spend on just one perfume botoh can basically finance their life for one month. Contentment and self control would be always the key since we do know that whenever soemone does have those kind of hopes and insights towards things specially when it comes to wants then people would be that
failing on this one. Its not really that bad on having those kind of wishes but we should really be that contented on what are  the things that we do have and not really pushing ourselves if we cant really be able to reach it.

in my opinion, buying luxury goods or buying perfume at expensive prices once in a while is okay if they can afford it or even have more wealth, there's nothing wrong with that, as long as they buy luxury goods for themselves, not for other people, or "(only for show off)". because you only live once, and no one knows how old you are, it would be a shame if they didn't enjoy the results of their hard work before they died.

But for me personally, when I buy something, I always buy it wisely, buy with common sense, buy things that I really need, buy because of function (not because of prestige), and buy on time (when needed).

Well, we really have to be ambitious when it comes to career achievements and plans to improve our standard of living so that we have a much better financial level in this case. This can encourage us to become individuals who work harder and always don't want to miss out on opportunities that arise. But the problem is that sometimes when we start to earn more money, that's when it's sometimes difficult for us to control ourselves so we don't end up living a life that is extravagant or someone who always follows trends. The solution is for us to stick to good financial management. Refrain from buying things that we want but don't really need. And if we succeed then we are actually one step ahead. It's just a matter of how we can survive and be consistent with all of that. And yes, when we already have a lot of money, this is where we also have to know how the value changes in money. So that the value of the money we have is not affected by inflation, changing it into other assets that are more inflation resistant is a good step. And we only need to leave money for our daily needs. But the problem is that if we want to improve financially, sometimes we also need to take risks.
