You are correct mate all those suggestions are definitely the reason for someone or a gambler to avoid. Why? Because those list won't make the gambler successful or productive during his or her job it only waste the precious time the employer has paid them. Taking loan just to gamble is a very risky thing to do. We might end up unlucky and lose that money for nothing.

Gambling at work seems to be unprofessional conduct on the part of the worker because it is a distraction and deprives one of their man-hours labour and inputs for which they are being paid for. It makes one counter productive and less focused possibly when one plays at work and runs at loss. That is why some organisations do put it up on their terms and conditions of services for their employers to see and they do take drastic measures when ever an employee is caught in the act.
Lastly, no reasonable person would go for a loan just to play games which they are not sure of winning as gambling is mostly played for fun. So if one must gamble, one must gamble with a little amount they can afford to lose so as not to get bothered when of it goes sour.

Gambling during working hours is indeed unethical and strictly prohibited. It may affects your productivity and attitude towards your work. There's a sanction once your employer know that you're doing it, grave offense and can lead to termination as well. So it's better to have a time management on yourself and must do gambling if you're having a spare time just like your rest days and leaves. On the 2nd part, I think that's obvious to know that it's not okay to borrow a money just for gambling because it may lead you to huge debt and bankruptcy. I agree with this, because companies pay us to work not to play gambling, because in my opinion if there are people who gamble in the work environment (working hours) maybe they want trouble to come. Because I don't think there are companies that allow other activities during working hours, let alone gambling which will have a bad impact on the person playing it or the work that will be affected as well. As much as possible, even gambling addicts should be able to see the situation to gamble not to play in their workplace which is clear they have responsibilities there.

I would like to agree with your this point. Gambling should be always taken as an entertainment purpose, I think those who are addicted to it those public will only try to gamble while working. Although many times it depends on how the workplace is, if there is free time at the workplace and then if there is a game of my favorite sports, then I would like to catch a light betting at the workplace as well. I somehow disagree with these two reasons. As for the first one, if a gambler is a high roller, this should not apply and if someone is gambling within his budget with this large amount of money, then it shouldn't be any issue as long he know the risks of him gambling that amount. The same goes for the second reason, it's really common to encounter multiple consecutive loses but then again, if it's within your bankroll or budget then it's still not an issue continuing gambling but still never try to chase those loses and not go overboard with your budget.

I would like to add something I would personally not do:
It is not advisable to multitask while gambling and also it would not be good to gamble while one is specially tired.
Both are states of the mind which could easily make us commit a mistake on the management of our money and turn a winning streak into a losing session, regardless of the game we are playing.

This is just the simple fact that most people don't understand. Gambling is never never a place to get rich. I have never seen successful gambler all my life, instead what I have seen are successful addicts who loose everything to gambling. Until people realize that your only to play gamble for fun and not to get rich, the casino owners will keep cashing out billions of dollars. I have heard of situations where someone (a gambler) says that they become more active and alert after they take some alcohol, and that's when they can do something very well. I kind of believe that it's true, but not for every occasion. I don't know how much of it is true. It's hard for me to believe. But again, everyone is built differently, so people have different tolerances for alcohol consumption. One may have one or two drinks and black out. One may drink an entire bottle without a blackout.

But again, consuming alcohol or not one should be focused when gambling. It's a rule one must follow. Because alcohol can affect one's judgment, mood, and mind. It's not advisable to work, play, drive, or do any kind of physical activity while drinking.
